[Music] thank you thank you very much and welcome to Scripture and tradition I'm father Mitch Pacwa and in this program we go through understanding Scripture but we do so through the lens of tradition that's why we're doing theological issues and not just going to the text of the Bible itself though what we do is go through Scripture now if you have a question or comment for the show please let us know you can email us or you can go online to facebook and such the Facebook and YouTube past pages are easier to find itself Facebook / EWTN and same thing with YouTube so you can find that and you can also call us you can on the screen there so I can't see the screen but it's on there you can go to the Facebook and YouTube or you can call us and the phone number is 1-800-218-4243 just catalog it you go online to EWTN or c-calm and it is item T 1 7 8 4 T 1784 all right now we've been talking a lot about the meaning of salvation and we talked about the necessity of Christ's death on the cross salvation doesn't occur without his saving death but it's not only the fact that he died we also see that this is possible because Jesus is God the Son made flesh so he is God made flesh and I this is where again I think we have to understand what that means for him to be God we talked someone about his humanity we also must deal with his divinity to do the divinity without understanding that he's fully human is a mistake a theological error to try to think of him as human without his divinity is equally an error he is God and flesh human flesh human bees man and this is something that to keep in mind and this is where we see this brought out in a passage that occurs in the Gospel of John now I especially want to take a look at John chapter 5 when it goes through that a little bit more I think we've done some of this but I want to just review it we see that in 5 verses 1 through 16 our Lord you know very clearly understands that his mission includes healing the sick we see that in all the Gospels in chapter 5 verses 1 through 16 of John's Gospel he heals a man who's paralyzed for 30-some years at the Pool of Bethesda and by the way if you go to Jerusalem you can still see a big section of the Pool of Bethesda it's empty of water right now but you can see down to the ground and since the place is still there and after he heals the man tell him to pick up his mat and take it home and then when he runs across him again in this in the temple he tells him sin no more lest something worse happen to you in his case he connects what happened to his paralysis with sin other places like in chapter 9 of John's Gospel he said that the blindness of the man has nothing to do with sin but sometimes it does that is so he being God he knows that he knows that difference and after he heals the man people are upset this is meant to be a very clear indication that Jesus is God and that he has lordship of the Sabbath he was able to tell the man to pick up his Menten and take it home because he is Lord of the Sabbath something we see in the other Gospels but his divinity is brought out in verse 17 and 18 jesus answered his critics my father is working still and I'm working now God the Father works on the Sabbath he sustains the universe on the Sabbath he may not make new creation but he does sustain the Sabbath and because God the Father is always at work including on the Sabbath Jesus also is at work and when he said that my father's working still and I am working the Jewish people in Jerusalem understood exactly the implication of this because they wanted to kill him all the more not only because he broke the Sabbath by telling the man to pick up his mat and walk but he also called God his father making himself equal to God this was something that was not taught by the other rabbis so this is a problem that his compassion for the paralyzed man gets him into difficulty and his power to heal him and forgive him is necessary for him to be God because it was a Jewish principle still is only God can forgive so how could he forgive that man unless he is God and this is bringing out his divine power by healing and by forgiving now at that point as I say they are scandalized by him and he's going to respond to their being scandalized he gives out some more information about his relationship with the father and about his mission to redeem humanity let's take a look at chapter John chapter 5 beginning with verse 19 he says truly truly I say to you the son can do nothing of his own accord but only what he sees the father doing for whatever he does that the son does likewise for the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing and greater works than these will he show him that you may Marvel for as the father raises the dead and gives them life so also the son gives life to whom he will father judges no one but has given all judgment to the son that all may honor the son even as they honor the father and he who does not honor the son does not honor the father who sent him truly truly I say to you he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life he who does not believe that it comes into judgment but has passed from death to life so this is assuming he does not come to judgment if he believes all right let's take a look at this and take this in part first of all the son can do nothing of his own accord but only what he sees the father doing for whatever he the father does the son does likewise notice Jesus is asserting he is completely dependent on the father this is one of the reasons that we say every Sunday in the Creed we believe in one God the Father Almighty and then we believe in the son then the Holy Spirit this is because we believe that God is one and none of the persons of God not the father the son or the spirit acts apart from the other persons they are in the Greek stories and as a matter of fact not only the Greek mythology's but in the other mythologies the gods act contrary to each other even when they are husband and wife they will contradict each other Zeus is frequently tricking his wife Hera by having affairs with other women and this is just what he does but Christ said no that that's mythology that we don't we don't buy into that that's nonsense it was true the Canaanite gods Babylonian gods Egyptian gods so on Jesus emphasizes that he's completely dependent on the father and that everything Jesus Christ does as God the Son is itself a gift of the Father this is part of them acting in complete oneness and unity but then he goes on to explain that um on the other hand the father holds back nothing of his own infinity and he gives it all to the father that's why it says in verse 24 the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he is doing and greater works than these will he show him that you may marvel that the father does not hold back his gifts from the son he gives everything to him and lavishes an infinite gift the father is eternally giving himself infinitely to the Son and the son always returns it back to the father he gives it returns to the father and this is something that is very important that the father's total infinite self gift is corresponding to the sons total and infinite acceptance when somebody gives you something you accept it so when the father gives a gift to the son the son accepts it infinitely that is part of the nature of their infinite love this is an aspect of their divinity and notice the son got Jesus on whose God the Sun mention some of the specific gifts that the father gives him for instance verse 21 as the father raises the dead and gives them life so the son gives life to whom he will this is part of the power of the Sun and then we also see that the power to judge human hearts is also a gift that the father gives he pours out that gift of being able to judge human hearts and he also gives the final judgment based on whether a person has faith in the word of the son if you honor the son then your honor the father and vice versa and if you hear the word of the son if you accept what he himself has taught not trying to add to it or change it or make it something different because remember how st. Paul warned in 2nd Corinthians 11 some come to preaching another gospel another Jesus Christ and another Holy Spirit don't accept it there's only one to believe the word that God the Son has given you is the basis for judgment if you believe it you pass from judgment to eternal life that's very important now then we go to the next section in chapter 5 of John verses 25 to 30 let's read it and then we'll go and take a look at it truly truly I say to you the hour is coming and now is when the Dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live for as the father has life in himself so he has granted the son also to have life in himself and has given him authority to execute judgment because he is the son of man do you not marvel at this for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come forth and those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment I can do nothing on my own authority as I hear I judge my judgment is just because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me again let's take a look at that so here one we see some of the gifts that the father has given him why does the father given these gifts so that he might be the savior of the world that's why he has these gifts one of the most important ones is that the Dead will hear his voice remember what it says in first letter of Saint Peter chapter 3 verses 18 to 21 where it said how Christ went to the prison to preach to all the spirits of the Dead this is what Christ is referring to here that the Dead will hear the voice of the son of God and those who hear will live he took them up to heaven we also see that when he died in the Gospel of st. Matthew toward the end of chapter 27 that when he died it was an earthquake and the tombs open and the dead came back to life because they heard his final cry filed into your hands I commend my spirit we also see that the Father has the power of life with him and he gives it to Christ to have that power life so much so that later Jesus will say I am the resurrection and the life I am the way the truth and the life he personifies life and resurrection because the father has given him this gift and he has the authority to judge people he has given that authority that people who are in the tombs will hear his voice and he will judge which ones on the basis of their faith in His Word and on the basis of their deeds will either come to the resurrection of life or to the resurrection of judgment in other words based on whether they have done evil or have done good they will be judged this is something all of us have to pay attention to because it's not an Olly Olly oxen free free free Christ will judge us on what we do and then we see in the very next segment verses 31 to 35 if I bear witness to myself my testimony is not true there is another who bears witness to me and I know the testimony which he bears to me is true you sent to John and he born has borne witness to the truth not that the testimony which I receive is from man but I say this that you may be saved he was a burning and shining lamp and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light but the testimony which I have is greater than that of John for the works which the father has granted me to accomplish these very works which I do bear me witness that the father has sent me and the father who sent me has borne witness himself to me his voice you have never heard his form you've never seen and you do not have his word abiding in you we do not believe him whom he has sent this is key John the Baptist testified to Jesus he's the one who cried out behold the lamb of God told him who takes away the sins of the world that was good but far more important is the fact that the father testifies to Jesus when Jesus says be healed somebody's you know that the paralytic was healed and by giving Jesus that power to do the works of the Father that is the father's testimony and if you have the Father's Word in you you will recognize Jesus there'll be a connector ality to understand him and recognize them if you don't then you will miss him and as a result in that believing in him whom the father has sent you will be liable to the judgment alright we're going to take a little break we'll come back I want to finish this passage in John you can sort of summarize where we are going so please stay with us [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh right we are now about to finish chapter 5 of John's Gospel where our word says in chapter 5 verse 39 you search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life and it is they who bear witness to me yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life I do not receive glory from men but I know that you have not the love of God within you I've come in my father's name and you do not receive me if another comes in his own name him you will receive two things here to keep in mind first our Lord says to search the Scriptures we should read and by that remember he's right he's saying this during the first year of his public ministry and at this point nothing of the New Testament has been written so when he says search the Scriptures what does he mean the Old Testament right because it's still Scripture and we still teach in our Creed we believe in the holy spirit who has spoken through the prophets via this is the Word of God and you can see when you search the scriptures that he was supposed to be born of a virgin and he was Isaiah chapter 7 verse 2 verse 14 we can see this posed to be born in Bethlehem Micah chapter 5 verses 1 & 2 both of which come from the 720's BC seven-thirty because Isaiah and then we see that he's supposed to die and be buried and then rise from the dead that's prophesied in Isaiah 52 verse 13 to chapter 53 verse 12 that's written right around the Year 540 BC and and lots of other Ibiza from the family of David and so on so search the scriptures and this is one of the reasons that we ought to pay close attention to the readings that Mass on Sunday as well as the daily readings because so often we are seeing the Old Testament cited and we need to see the link between what was prophesied and what Jesus did and even though they they bear witness some people still refused to come G to Jesus for life that's what he came to give his life and he said I come in my father's name you don't receive me if you love God you will understand that I come in his name that's the basis I'm doing this for the father and for you in other words his divinity and his relationship with the father his love of the father and the father's love for him are all inherently tied into salvation and we are saved only because this is an act of God sent by God in order to bring us back home to God God is the one who takes the initiative to redeem us and Jesus lives that out at the father's request Jesus didn't sort of go rogue and do his own thing to redeem us he did exactly what the father said and the father infinitely desires us to listen to Jesus and accept his salvation so if you love the father you'll also love Christ now this is something that we have to understand about the power of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus sacrifice on the cross we see that in Romans chapter 6 verse 10 the death he died he died to sin once for all but the life he lives he lives to God and if we accept the power of his death then he gives us the power to also live for God we also see that in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 the great chapter on the resurrection begin with verse 3 st. Paul tells the Corinthians for I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received because this is not Paul's invention it is what he received and we received is the word that means he received as a tradition what I received namely that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried and that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures this is the power of Christ's death and this is how we have this resurrection and the salvation by the death of god the son for our sake we see in 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 14 for the love of Christ controls us because we are convinced that one has died for all therefore all have died if we believe in Christ and have faith in Him then we become united to him in his death on the cross and that's how it brings salvation and because he's God it has the power to redeem anyone who comes to him we see also in Hebrews chapter 2 verse 9 but we see Jesus who for a little while was made lower than the Angels crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone this is God's grace it's a gift that God the Father gave for him to experience death so that all vos could be redeemed we see also in Hebrews 7 verse 27 Jesus has no need like those high priests of the Old Testament to offer sacrifices daily first for his own sins and then for those of the people he did this once for all when he offered up himself Christ is able to have his sacrifice on the cross be something that was offered once and for all because He is God he is infinite so as to be for all anok and he is truly eternal so that time gives no limitation to him Hebrews develops this further in Hebrews 9 verse 25 to 28 where it says nor was it to offer himself repeatedly as the high priest enters the holy place yearly with blood not his own for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world but as it is Jesus has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself and just as it as it is appointed for men to die once and after that comes judgment by the way that means there's no reincarnation that's out of the question you die once we're part of once don't you get you don't come back as a dog or cat or anything else you die once and then comes to judgment so Christ having been offered once to bear the sins of many will appear a second time not to deal with sin to save those who are eagerly waiting for him now with those two passages from Hebrews and also in Hebrews 10 verse 10 that we were we have been sanctified to the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all and in Hebrews 10:14 by a single offering is perfected for all time those were sanctified why does he emphasized the once for all because Jesus is infinite and eternal and he doesn't have to do it again and again now wait a minute what about you Catholics don't you offer Mass every day yes we do it I do too as a Catholic priest offered it every day however is it sacrificing Jesus again and again if he were not God that would be our theology but if he's God then we can understand that his death once for all is the one dying on the cross but what he does at Holy Mass is make present to us on the altar his saving death so his death is death once and for all but he brings it into our time at Mass and that's why st. Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians chapter 11 whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes again this is the power of his death and resurrection and Jesus taught this over and over again whether after his resurrection on Easter Sunday evening he said was that not in Luke 24 verse 26 was not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter his glory this is necessary this is what the scripture says and it's what he did and for us to understand our salvation for us to understand what Christ has done for us we need to keep in mind he truly God the Sun truly sent by the father and doing the Father's will and that he has laid down his life for us and died on the cross and without his death and without faith in the power of his death without seeing his saving death as the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament we miss out on salvation we miss out on it and this is why we have to start off with faith in the actual Jesus not another Jesus not a different Jesus than the one of the gospel but the Jesus of the gospel is the one by whom were saved as he lays it down that as I would have him do it and that's where if Christ is humble enough to say I have to do the will of the Father then we also have to make a decision will we be humble enough to accept the salvation on the terms that Christ gives us rather than try to make into something of my own making my own doing my own image maybe I think my ideas would be better but they're not God's are and we accept what he's done or we pay the consequences for rejecting him that's the basic decision now we'd like to do I've pretty much finished that first lesson that first session in the book saved let me go to some of your questions and remember next week we'll start off with Session two so let's start off with Barbara Howe Barbara hello hi were you from originally I was born and raised in Brooklyn but now I live on Long Island okay great and what is your question okay my question is and as I said I believe I read it in in a book that it said that Jesus would have come and would have saved us without having to have died the the crucifix the crucifixion I mean he had to die but not necessarily that way is that possible I don't see how where did they come up what was the basis for them saying this I'm not absolutely positive it was just perhaps either she was writing something down that the way in which she was told by God and she might have interpreted it that way herself or but I just kind of felt the fact that we needed to die so that we when we died we too would be able to go to heaven because he was he did it for us his humanist died so and came back to life and once you have that our bodies could do that so I'm not asking that he didn't have to die I know that he had to die but I just kind of felt the way that he died it was a little bit overwhelming and I think at the in the agony of the garden when he said you know yes God the Father you know if you couldn't make this not happen that would be good but you know my will is my will yeah okay well but all right fine Barbara who is this woman saying this I think I'm not absolutely positive Saint Agnes I think she she might have said it I have to look it up again yeah find out who that is that because here's whoever it is that said that I'm going to have to pose to you the words of Christ take a look at Matthew chapter 16 verse 21 Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer these things from the elders the chief priests and scribes and be killed and on the third day be raised and he goes in Matthew 17 verse 22 jesus said to them the Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men and they will kill him and he'll be raised on the third day and Matthew 20 verse 18 we are going up to Jerusalem the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes they will condemn him to death and deliver to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified and he'll be raised on the third day this is our Lord says that it must be that way and he mentions explicitly being crucified and that is dying so I again I don't know where this came from and you might want to check your source to make sure it really was something that whoever said it you know I don't know who it might be but it contradicts the gospel and as I was saying you know it's very important for us to accept it as Jesus lays it down and this is this is essential I can also take a look at John chapter 10 verse 11 to 18 and a few others are John 3 and other passages all right we're gonna go to a question from our studio audience ma'am were you from I'm from Minnesota great good to have you here and your question my question is in light of the events that recently happened in New York with the passing of this horrendous law against the unborn up to nine months and fan aside in other words well not only a matter of fact just to understand an audience understands that this new law says that up until the moment the child comes out of the womb the child can be aborted and if the child survives the abortion and comes out of the womb alive then the child may be murdered now that is beyond Roe vs. Wade in Roe versus Wade the decision says that if the is outside the womb it is a person and his life must be protected they are going beyond that they say so it's it's also death after birth and this is exactly what was going on in Virginia so your question well I suppose we should let dr. Gosnell out of prison then if this law is in effect because that's one of the reasons he was put in prison except for this the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is where dr. Gosnell was convicted of killing children after they had come out of the womb and this law only applies to the state of New York where they were cheering in the galleries and on the floor of the State House and the governor was cheering to sign it and to put pink lights on the buildings as if this is a victory for women that we can now kill our children not only in the womb but outside my question is and this governor claims to be Catholic so what is the church going to do about excommunicating him I dealt with that last of Wednesday on my show um the the proper penalty may not necessarily be excommunication there are other penalties prior to that if if for instance he actually participated in helping somebody get an abortion in a concrete case he's automatically excommunicated only have to get it the law excommunicates him and so you don't have to declare declare one and by the way he's also excluded from communion as it is anyway see that's where the problem of the penalty you know he's you know not is there with another woman besides his wife and that's very public so he's not eligible to receive Holy Communion if he any community receives until he repents of these things is sacrilegious yeah just you're a that's not my feeling this is Catholic law and so he may not receive Holy Communion but whether they excommunicated him for this that's a fine point of law there's another penalty prior to that that excludes them from the sacraments has the same effect and you still have a next level of excommunication available to him but of course anybody who procures or attempt or help somebody procure directly a an abortion is automatically excommunicated and think about that think what was going on in his state in the city of New York the city approximately 60% of all children conceived are aborted already same in Washington DC it's no surprise that their favor of this kind of legislation in those places and when it comes to african-american kids in New York City I believe it's 85% of all african-american children conceived in the city are aborted this is this is genocide so this is something that I find absolutely horrendous and for them to be gleeful as there's this genocide against African American children is horrendous alright let's now go over to an email we have an email from Charlie the Catechism number 311 says that God in no way directly or indirectly Oh God is in no way directly or indirectly the cause of moral evil I have difficulty reconciling this with God insisting that all the inhabitants in Canon be slaughtered showing no mercy Charlie all right first of all Charlie what was the crime of the Canaanites you remember take a look add another number of passages but take a look at Deuteronomy chapter 7 you'll see what their crime was they were murdering their own children and offering them as sacrifices to their gods some of the pagan temples had idols with slides into their stomach and which was a furnace their slide the bodies of their babies especially boy babies all the babies they would put into big urns and bury them under the house whether alive or dead were not sure ah seems that they were already dead so these people were committing a very serious crime of infanticide to their deities this is their religion and this is something that is very important to them you know we I you know and and that's why God punished them with death they were destroying the next generation the Lord put a stop to it by killing that generation remember that that's why they did it so I don't know that that's unjust you know this is a murder charge all right we have a call hold Tim mother hi were you calling from Michigan with heart I have a question is kind of a dilemma for me yes it's in John chapter 20 verse 22 it says that he said what he breathed on them and they received the Holy Spirit and I remember what other what other reading is said that they were in a room together and the received tongues of fire on their heads and received the Holy here so which I'm confused by that one well not you actually you saw that very important yeah that's a good question you don't need - confused by oh the the second one that you mentioned with tongues of fire came upon them that's from Acts of the Apostles chapter - now Tim who was in the upper room when Jesus breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit remember it was the apostles of the Blessed Mother nope just ten of the Apostles Thomas wasn't there even oh that's right I forgot about oh well see that's well I don't forget that stuff I forget a lot of things in my old age but I didn't forget that so you have only the the ten apostles Hayes's receive the Holy Spirit as the father sent me so I send you who's ever sins you forgive they are forgiven who's ever sins you retain they are retained in other words that give to the apart of the Holy Spirit is for the Apostles so that they have the power to hear confessions or in the case of people who are not repentant to not give am absolution how can a by the way how can the Apostles know whom to forgive in whom not to forgive they have to hear the sins that's why confession is necessary Christ gave us the sacrament of confession that night at that point however your second point in Acts of the Apostles chapter two we see the eleven apostles plus the new one Matthias and the Blessed Mother and some of the other women that were part of the disciples and altogether was a hundred and twenty disciples and they received the Holy Spirit with tongues of fire and with prophesying and speaking in tongues and so on remember that they might be gone all right so so there it's a gift Oh the Holy Spirit for the whole church that is the parallel to the Sacrament of Confirmation or in Eastern Church chrismation this is where every individual receives the Holy Spirit in order to be empowered to be missionaries in the church all of us are called to be evangelists and teachers and all the other gifts the various different gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to the whole community on Pentecost but in John chapter 20 only the Apostles get the gift of being able to hear confessions and they pass that on to the other priests and bishops who came after them so it's a different kind of gift hopefully that'll help you there and as we see the this variety of gifts within the church between the structure within the hierarchy and the general gifts in the church very important all of us have the Holy Spirit but there's four different kinds of gifts and ministries okay well right now we have another email and this one is from Greg well this my name is Greg I have a friend that isn't sure on faith and believing in Christ he used to go to church but doesn't go anymore I tried to get him to go to church read the Bible to believe in God to save a soul but I want him to go to church he doesn't know anything on God what do I do to get him back to being a Christian Greg well Greg couple things you have to keep in mind first of all I know for myself I never convert anybody never I don't save anybody I'm not able to do that all that I can do is give people reasons to believe but it is God Himself that must save them Christ is the one that they must encounter and you can't save him I can't save them Jesus does but I always tell people like a lot of other things in life salvation is a management issue and God is management we are in sales that's all very important so a couple things you can do in terms of your role of giving the reasons to believe ask your friend more Greg ask him more in detail tell me how did you you know move away from your face what move your way find out his story and be respectful don't listen with it yeah sort of like you're a cat about to pounce on a mouse see I watched my cat's in the backyard doing that all the time to the moles I congratulate them on the moles but the but no no no listen listen with sensitivity and see is there something of pain in his life that keeps away from God is there a fear of going to confession is there a problem that he has that uh find out where he ditches and scratch his itch don't can't come up with your answers but find out where he just so you can scratch them there this is very important and in that and then the other thing is you pray for him that grace is from God so pray that he find that Grace and don't worry about if it's from you or whoever might be the only worry about how the Lord does it your concern is that your friend comes to know God so pray for that do some fasting as well as praying and see what our Lord does okay all right let's you have another one over here Oh Thomas from Florida well Mitch last week I participated in an all-day novena service our spiritual leader to suggest that we fast from something I did no food for the entire day yet I had my water bottle with me my question is how is it that Jesus Christ fasted 40 days and 40 nights whereas if I as a human being nowadays trying to do that would he or she not survive how did he do it I have no idea Thomas I wasn't there but I give an example though there is a woman from sue Dayton lond in what used to be Czechoslovakia I don't know whoever doesn't probably Czech Republic today but her name was Teresa Newman and she ate only the Eucharist for years decades not 40 days and nights she only consumed you couldn't eat any of the food during world war two the nazis surrounded her house to make sure nobody was bringing her food and they weren't as they couldn't catch anybody so she was just living on the Eucharist and this is also very much a grace and there was a young woman in western Massachusetts that same thing they even tried to give her a little bit of food and she got sick from it like she took a taste of the icing on a birthday cake just a taster she got sick to her stomach she only received the Eucharist for years her name is rose as I recall so this is something that we have to say well there's another kind of help to overcome that but I don't have that gift by any means I like to eat and you know this is and so this is something that I wouldn't be able to do without any food for 40 days afford it most of us would die so I don't recommend trying it on let's have a special gift another thing we can't tries to keep on going with this show past the due time so want to thank you all for being with us and remind you that this program and all of our programs at EWTN are brought to you by you that's how mother felt inspired to start this network then instead of selling commercial time and also to other schemes she would trust God to use you to keep us going and you have for all these years since you know 1981 so keep us in between your gas bill electric bill and cable bill and we'll pay all our bills too and may Almighty God bless you the Father Son and Holy Spirit amen thank you [Applause] [Music] [Music] you [Music]
