School of the Prophets | Season 1 | How to Know If You are a Prophet ? | Episode 5

[Music] uh welcome to the scope of the prophets um greetings viewers i hope you're doing well uh we are still on season one um of the school of the prophets uh we did four episodes this is episode number five so i want to inform you before before shortly before we start with this episode i'm going to be dropping two episodes every week every week i'm gonna drop two episodes i'm gonna drop one on monday i'm gonna drop one on tuesday you know i mean on wednesday one monday the second one is gonna be um on on wednesday so every week you can expect two episodes now this is a free school um i want you to make sure that you go back to the first episodes don't just watch something once and think that you have gotten it sometimes it takes more than you know watching something once for you to really get it so make sure that you are watching the sessions again and again so that you can really get the message into your system into your spirit today on this episode um episode number five we are talking about how to know whether you are a prophet how do you know if you are called to be a prophet how do you know that you are a prophet because there are so many people who some are suspecting some they feel like you know some they're thinking maybe i'm a prophet but they are not sure whether god has called them into the prophetic and one of the things that complicates knowing whether one is a prophet or not is a prophet it's a it's an issue that when god calls a prophet or when god is calling prophets he doesn't call them the same way right and there are certain uh also prophetic expressions or phenomenon that are not given to every prophet when he is being called and some people or prophets specifically when they teach like for example they are prophets who teach that um every prophet must be able to see angels but the truth of the matter is that it's not every prophet that is going to be seen this is going to be able to see angels and if now imagine you are a you are called as a prophet and you were taught and you ever believed that every prophet must be able to see angels what happens when you don't see angels you begin to have problems you begin to think maybe i'm not a prophet in heaven in the same but you have to understand that different prophets are called differently and sometimes the ways that god uses to call a prophet becomes drama dramatic sometimes god the way he calls a prophet also does not really become dramatic like for example moses was called through the benning bush experience this is an encounter that he had now the fact that moses was a prophet and when he was called he saw that burning bush it doesn't mean when god is calling you to you are if that means you are going to see a burning bush it doesn't work like that i mean i mean other than moses which other prophet do you know in the bible was called through the banning bush experience you see so even if you go to the other prophets you will find that you will not find many prophets who had even if they had visions but you found that their visions were different if they had encounters their encounters were different so there are even some prophets who were called like for example i know that they are actually people who are called into ministry through desire did you know that like the people were called to the ministry through desire and someone might not think that much of a valid of a calling when someone's called to desire this is when we have even had people ridiculing bishops because paul wrote and said uh if any man desires to be a bishop he desires a good thing so there are even a lot of um spiritually illiterate leaders and people who are mocking the bishop and saying it's not that much of a call it's just a mere desire but if you read the scriptures the bible says it is him that works in you both to will to desire and to do his goodwill so god can call i know even some powerful prophets as a prophet i know in the u.s his ministry is over 70 years now uh according to his testimony he has never seen an angel he has never seen an open vision he's a nobody prophet very strong uh not be prophet his ministry is a track record some of the some of the guys that you listen to and admire in the in the prophetic were actually uh trained and taught by that man like i'm talking about uh dr bill hamon do you know that apostles like johnny cart you know you you can name a a jennifer you can talk about all those people they were trained by dr bill hammer but if you have followed bill hamon you will notice that um he's not he's not a senior prophet he's not actually a prophet so how god called him as a prophet is different from how god called asia prophet the same thing you must understand depending on what type of prophet you are god might call you in a way that might not be really dramatic so what's important is that you because you know there's something that people don't understand about the voice of god the voice of god is not mechanic the voice of god is not mechanic so when we one thing that we must understand about the voice of god is that god the voice of god can come to you in many ways and it's not really important how the voice of god comes to you what is important is that are you able to pick it up are you able to hear when god is the one who is speaking to you because at the end of the day what matters is you obeying the voice of god at the end of the day what matters is you carrying out the voice of god at the end of the day it's not important how that voice came to you so one of the one of the ways that the lord uses to call a prophet is that god can simply use their desire you desire the prophetic you desire it and you deserve the prophetic is beyond the people you know the people who deserve the prophetic but they you know their desire is like average you know it's a normal type of a desire for the prophetic they desire it they try to be the prophetic to move in the prophetic to let the prophetic they meet you know challenges in the prophetic they give up they stop pursuing the prophetic i'm not talking about those people this month they want the prophetic next month they did it they forgot about it because they are focusing on something different next year they see another prophet on fire they are also their fire is canceled they want to be proper i'm not talking about that i'm talking about people who have a an unquenchable desire for the prophetic i'm talking about people who have an undying desire for the prophetic it becomes even worse when they see someone else moving in the prophetic that's a sign that god is calling you is calling you into the prophetic you get it but but and here's the thing there's another verse in the bible the bible says um delight yourself in the lord and he shall he shall give you the desires of your heart that verse has been interpreted to say it has been disinterpreted to say when you delight yourself in the lord the lord will give you that wish you desire but actually that verse is talking about god will give you what you must desire delight yourself give yourself how do you delight yourself to the lord you delight yourself by the lord by living a life committed to god devotion having a strong devotional life becoming a prayerful person studying the word of god in other words you spend your time on around spiritual activities and you and yes you delight yourself like that around the council of the lord as you delight yourself in the place of prayer studying the scriptures god like this is what paul meant when he said it is him that works in you to both will to desire and to do his good pleasure so many times god has spoken to people using you know why do you think uh because there's something that people underestimate people underestimate the power of desire paul said these are spiritual gifts right but apart from that jesus said whatsoever you pray whatsoever you desire when you pray so there's a there's there's something about design the place of prayer this is something about desire when it comes to spiritual spiritual matters but what i'm talking about now is that god can begin to impart a desire in you for something and that desire will stay with you you might even try to do something else i remember in my own personal life there were years and times when i was really frustrated by the prophetic i was frustrated about the prophetic and i would actually even tell god you know what god i'm done prophet i i'm done with the prophetic i'm just gonna stick with the apostolic i'm just gonna stick with other things that i'm already good at in the kingdom of god this prophetic thing i'm just done but here's the thing because it's not something that i took upon myself it's something first of all i was born into it isn't my bloodline but it's also part of because within the apostolic dimension they are they are prophetic damages so the mendel of a prophet encompasses that of a prophet so if you meet an apostle who says i can't prophesy it's because he does not fully understand his mental every apostle who understand his mental he will know that my mental encompasses the prophetic so in other words every apostle must be able to move in the prophetic because his mental encompasses and remember an apostle it does not only encompasses that of a prophet but an evangelist is a teacher in the past they meet the mental of an apostle encompasses the other for uh the other four offices you get it so if you have been having a strong burning desire that god you know that god like that that that attraction that godly attraction towards the prophetic don't ignore it don't especially if you have been trying to kill it and it's not dying god is calling you into the prophetic god god might be calling you into the office of a prophet right and and you're never gonna know more you're not you never you're never gonna know for sure whether god is calling you not he's calling you into into the pro is the prophet or not if you never peso it let me finish by saying this god will always try to hook your attention before he speaks to you some will somewhere then someone gets up he goes to eddie god keeps quiet somewhere and then god someone gets up goes to early god keeps quiet why god wants to speak but he's not gonna speak until he gets your attention right when ellie told someone to when you hear the voice lie down when you hear the voice say speak lord your servant is listening then god is speaking but why couldn't god say just say someone it's me god don't get up i ever something to tell you why didn't he got you there god will always try to hook your attention before he speaks god wants to call moses as a prophet what does he do he shows him a mountain that is he shows him a mountain i mean i'm a tree a burning tree that is that is one fire but it's not consumed moses says why is that tree on fire but not question let me turn and see and exodus three the bible says as moses tends to see god spoke he says moses moses so once god got moses attention god was ready to speak jeremiah what do you see he says i see an almond tree and then feta revelation what is this season it's about your birth and god says and then further revelation you have seen well i'm standing to fulfill my word but what if i didn't see anything he could have missed the word of the lord when god was prophesying of judging judgment that's going to come from the not jeremiah what do you say he says i see a pot what does it do he says it's boiling it fell he's facing not and then god says to jeremiah evil shall come from the north there's so many of you god has been trying to hook your attention god has been trying to speak to you but you don't follow it because you doubt yourself because you make other prophets who are already moving to fill you to make you feel disqualified but you must understand that if god is trying to hook your attention you better you better you better pay attention you better give god attention like you better follow it you better search up that desire that is not dying you have to follow it and find out
