going on people day one Sneijder lease operator or as they like to call you older operator not there yet don't own anything pretty standard orientation as far as most things a little bit of paperwork first thing this morning then those that didn't do physicals and drug tests well nobody does a drug test until they get here but as far as physicals there was two of us because of our state laws the Act do your physicals there I guess which makes no sense but it's Mississippi when everyone else they didn't do their physicals yet so that had to get done and then everybody did a drug test which is hair and urine here so I've got that all out of the way once that was done we got to go look at our trucks my trucks got 45 miles on it which I was actually hoping for more miles just for the fact it would have meant that you know when they piggyback trucks and haul him down the road the ones that are back and actually being piggyback usually have a rougher day then the woman told him but it is what it is I got full warranties on everything so I'm not really too concerned about it other than the fact that you know if something breaks I'm not moving after we got done looking at the trucks lady from the insurance side specific the insurances on the truck came in and went over all those there's actually three that are required of course you got the physical damage insurance for the truck that one is based off value and then you have your occupational health basically it's like workman's come and then bobtail insurance so those are the three that you know you have to have there's just no way around it and then you had some optionals that you could select I mean they had three of them that were deductible by dowels basically to where you paid I think the one was three dollars and fifty four cents and the cheapest one was a dollar eighty five a week and what that does is is you know like hopefully I get this correct but like the physical damage coverage on the truck there's a thousand dollar deductible per incident you know if you hit somebody and damage your truck or whatever with this buy down basically my dog deductr will be a hundred dollars then you have you know cargo like liability insurance basically what that is is if you hit somebody you ship the loan you damage the load you're gonna have a five hundred dollar deductible and this makes it zero it's a dollar eighty five a week and you know I'd pay anything as far as deductibles go other than the fact that you've you know obviously hit something and now you gonna get struck things and probably somebody else's car but we went through that then we did lunch there chicken cordon bleu with rice and a cookie it was free this terminal here in Green Bay if I get a chance I'll shoot at least take some pictures tomorrow it's not as nice as the one that got in the Indianapolis one in Indianapolis has got a regular cafe type grill in there this one it's just not sure where they even cook the food but it's there's a guy he just serves it to you I'm trying to think what else then lady came in we went over the lease agreement made some signatures on that I gotta tell you man he's I've looked inside the new Cascadia since they did the reasons redesign and once you're inside it feels bigger I mean the truck itself dimensionally is still the same but the interior the way they redesigned the interior it feels so much bigger so you know again it's got an APU it has a refrigerator back to a refrigerator the nice thing about the new freight liners if you remember the old ones had this little cubby that you could shove a microwave into and you had to buy the smallest microwave possible and get it in there this one has a shelf up above one of the cabinets for you just sitting on the shelf and you strap it in that makes it kind of nice trying to think what else got a TV mount in it you could fit a 32 inch and this thing really easy so yeah it's a nice truck it's a really nice truck I didn't think to grab my phone when I wouldn't looked at it so I didn't get any pictures of it but tomorrow if I get a chance I'll run up and grab a video or or some pics of it well yeah we'll release and then gentleman came in from operations we went over that side of this path that we're on I think you know they're up front with everything there's it really has been a nice nice deal so far because they you don't feel like you're being left in the dark or you know somebody's blowing smoke at you they don't seem to be you know trying to hide anything you're gonna ask any questions you want they're giving you time to look at things so I mean they're not they're not pushing you to get it you know everything signed and you know we gotta you know they just not having it like that so far and then about 4:30 we cut out and we're back at the hotel so yeah that's pretty much day one tomorrow it's gonna be a lot of the same thing as far as I can tell we won't actually road test until Wednesday we will road test our own trucks but obviously you know drug results got to come back so that you you know you actually got to be able to legally get in the truck first standards and one thing Schneider is always and and in some cases it might feel a little overzealous but the safety aspect of everything the rulebook thing that Schneider but orientation structures nice guy name's John we had 11 guys in the class unfortunately one had to go home I believe what I heard was you know a blood pressure issue and the physical and you know that happens about every orientation you go to and then - gentlemen already have their own trucks both of them had to get things done to the fifth wheel your Schneider has a requirement has to be a certain type of fifth wheel I think there's three different versions they'll accept but it had the height the fifth wheel has to be a certain height so he had one had to have that adjusted and the other one his it has to be a sliding fifth wheel and this gentleman's fifth wheel was not sliding fifth wheels so he's gonna have to have a sliding fifth wheel installed yeah it's interesting but I mean pretty much everyone in the class except for I think two people two of them were there they're getting into older freight liners and I'm talking prior to 2019 and the rest of them were all brand new free liners I wish I had a blue one available I really like the blue black looks good too but the blue one's really nice actually the red is not bad it's not really red its burgundy it's a dark burgundy so yeah you know it's we're getting through it trying to get all the I mean at this point I'm gonna have to add it all up I did a quick add up in my head in class but I don't want to spit a number out then it's probably gonna be off but I know what the fixed costs are gonna be and it stands right now on the truck and you know the insurances and all that stuff that go along with it prepass gonna have to there's paperwork I'm waiting for the email it's another portion of this and it goes over other I mean they don't send give you a stack and just ask you to start signup pages they're doing it in stages this will go you know as few other things is you have to agree or not agree to and then you know part of that is also of a pre pass it's 25 bucks and then tolls you are responsible for tolls if you use toll rooves but they only deduct it out of your settlement my goal is to get back south of Chicago so I don't plan on going into total country you know I'm trying to stay away from as much as I can and then you know tomorrow we'll start going over to the Lord load board and all that entails and stuff you know all that good stuff which I'm really interested in getting hands on with that loan board just to be able to check it out but other than that it's not bad it's not bad so far but we'll see how tomorrow goes and I'll update you what happens so as usual Oh before I go thanks for the comment Scotty we'll have to see you know it's day 1 of orientation it is a holiday week but it's gonna you know it's four days come Wednesday so we'll be able to drive our own trucks back to the hotel if we stay in the hotel my question is you know I'll just go ahead and stay in my truck what's the difference hotels for the most part I I don't know it's a hotel how comfortable can you be I can watch TV on my laptop so I mean and you know terminals got showers so there's there's no plus I'm at so it is what it is but again we'll see I appreciate you guys taking the time be safe we'll talk to you
