is there another stretch of road anywhere where you have more choices for feeding your Cravings tickling your taste buds filling your belly having a gastronomic adventure grabbing a table at a hot spot carrying the name of a famous chef or Famous Brand Las Vegas is all that and more but you don't have to pay the dinner prices to experience it my friends you can have a foodie Adventure anytime morning noon and night come on out in the morning like I do so get ready because this adventure starts right [Music] now the place Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip the day Monday morning after our stay at crockford's last month well good morning it is 8:00 on Monday morning Dale's sleeping in but you know me I never sleep in I am in search of breakfast and I know just the spot luckily the place she has in mind is just a few short Steps From the crockford's and Conrad lobbies a little import from New York called Juniors talk about Timely although this place opened a few months ago replacing Resorts world's original coffee shop the official ribbon cutting ceremony was just 2 months back on February 28th Junior's at its heart is a family style diner with its roots in Brooklyn New York but its claim to fame has always been its award-winning cheesecake a couple dozen flavors [Music] of course some logo merchandise and the one that started it all the original the entry is flanked with cool historical New York City moments captured on film way back on Election Day 1950 Harry Rosen opened up a shop at the corner of flat Bush and Decalb in Brooklyn and the rest as they say is history the restaurant at Resorts worlds is Junior's first West Coast location and the rosen's third generation is very happy to be here they hope to attract both locals and visitors with great food fun and service all right friends this of course was the spot I had in mind the famous Juniors fabulous out of New York since 1950 I didn't want anything too fancy I just s some scrambled eggs and sausage and that is on the way you guys this place place is mobed they may be famous for their cheesecake but they must serve a heck of a breakfast because every table is taken there's a big line outside the door there must be a convention or something going on because a lot of guys here uh must be something happening in the convention area anyway Juniors breakfast on the way the dining room is shaped like a V extending in both directions from that cheesecake case it's open to the casino on both sides and if this morning crowd is any indication it's already a huge [Music] success the vibe in here has been described as a culinary Time Capsule where classic New York meets contemporary Las Vegas whatever you call it we're big fans especially the pop of those orange walls setting off the black and white vintage murals so something unusual happened that hasn't happened I think on our channel before they got my order wrong and that is no surprise considering how jam-packed this place is and how they are just pushing out the breakfast plates so I actually ordered scrambled eggs I don't really like runny eggs I don't like uh Yol but um I got over easy so luckily my server stopped back almost immediately after the plate got set down and she swapped it out like within a minute and a half so here I am I've got by scrambled eggs my R toast and from what I understand some really really great pork sausage this looks terrific and we having a big bite wow that is so good I love country breakfast sausage and that one is a winner oh they're really big big links too I'm going to dig into those and I think I'll take a couple up to Dale as well so here's a big fluffy scramble warm buttery wow big thumbs up on that and you'll laugh because we had such a big dinner last night I didn't get the home fries I got tomato slices instead trying to be a good girl and then a beautiful piece of marble rye as well so this is a lovely breakfast and I am going to dig in breakfast spot number two today we're a little further south on the Strip on a morning with low clouds and Chilly Winds but where Paul is headed in the Venetian is guaranteed to warm things up on the far side of the pazo atrium is the walkway that connects pazo and Venetian appropriately called Restaurant Row the Venetian boast that under its roof is the largest restaurant collection in Las Vegas more than 40 of them and many of the biggest names are located along this hallway our destination is the very last one before you reach the casino it's called Chica and when we say it's got the prime spot across from Venetian Casino we mean it talk about foot traffic chica was just about to open when she arrived so Paula poked her camera in the open Windows to catch a glimpse the restaurant received a vibrant multi-million dollar makeover in early [Music] 2022 hey breakfast Adventures Continue oh my gosh you guys I am in a place that Dale and I have walked past hundreds of times tucked in a corner between the Venetian Restaurant Row and the casino itself it's called chica I'm finally here I ordered breakfast and I splurged on one of their fresh squeezed juices it's called Nothing rhymes with orange you won't even believe how beautiful the presentation is it's uh cantaloup carrot orange and ginger if I'm not mistaken let me try this oh that is heaven oh my gosh I'm a huge fan of cantaloupe anyway but tuck that ginger in there wow that is superb and there's a pansy on the top of it you guys I'm loving this place already where do you see how beautiful they encourag me to go ahead take pictures they said everybody takes pictures in here I can see why breakfast on the way it's sausage and eggs let's take a look at the bar area first the Rockwell group is responsible for the fresh new design handmade plaster wall murals dark exotic woods and terracotta walls on the front side of the bar are the high tops with a backdrop of lush green plants the mural is a brilliant artwork in tropical colors done by Miami based graffiti artist Daniel ooro chica occupies a space that's almost 9,400 Square ft the redesign ensured that guests have a clear view from end to end and it's pretty spectacular this is the larger dining room and the decor reflects that classic Latin American influence and there's a smaller more intimate dining room near the front which is where Paulo was seated at the back is the new live fire kitchen not in use for breakfast but that custombuilt Open Fire Grill will be heating up later today chica first opened here at the Venetian in 2017 with a Latin Fusion menu developed by Chef TV personality author and restaurant tour Lorina Garcia Chef Garcia is a native of Venezuela and was the first Latin Chef to hang up or shingle here on the Strip by invitation Paula is off to take a closer look at the wine seller chica's wine inventory is described as emphasizing historical ties to oldw World Wines I'm sure if we perused the extensive wine list we'd find vintages from all over the world absolutely exhilarating being inside here so what did you think of the place is it not fabulous I was so jazzed when they invited me to go take a peek in the wine Celler it's nice and cool and chilly in there Fabulous As is this juice I can't get enough of this it's wonderful M so I have a Latin breakfast sausage and eggs of course but the sausage in this case is toizo let's have a bite of extra well done toizo sausage I love cheso that is amazing M huge thumbs up on the sausage I will eat all of that Dale you don't get any leftovers you snooze you lose all right my eggs are scrambled it looks like they have a little bit of a sprinkle on them it might be uh some kind of a seasoning specifically Latin let's try them [Music] creamy buttery M those are very good that might just be seasoned salt on top I'm not sure but it doesn't really have a lot of heat to it it's just really looks pretty with the uh the red sprinkle now I cannot tell you what these other things are I think there's they're in the menu we'll put them on the end of the in a captain anyway I assume this is a potato it's got maybe a little bit of cream on it wow you guys I don't even know what this is but it looks amazing let me cut a little piece of it and try it is it a potato H that tastes like sour cream that is a potato those are great wow looks like there's little uh sprinkle of cheese on top they might have put it under the broiler wow that's amazing and then in Li of toast this looks like a cookie it's very warm what is this m it's like fried bread or something wow I love this what an experience what an international culinary experien this is those of you of Latin and Mexican and Spanish Heritage you probably know what all these things are for me it's just a huge Discovery and everything is delicious I am going to Chow Down on this the last in our Trifecta of extraordinary breakfast experiences is just two doors north of that Sans Avenue intersection at Encore this glowing bronze sister to the wind opened a little over 15 years ago in late 2008 the theater where Awakening is currently staging five nights a week marks the intersection of the two resorts for Encore follow the butterfly decked red carpets to the left seriously my friends when you haven't been here for a while the beauty just overwhelms the spot we're headed for breakfast was initially a steakhouse when the resort opened that closed in 2015 and after a 1.4 $4 million remodel debuted later that year as jardan jarden is French for garden and judging by what we're seeing outside those Florida ceiling Windows left of the restaurant the name fits our reservation is for 8:00 a.m. so let's go check in Step Inside past the hostess station and your eyes are drawn to that inviting patio we will definitely be going out there to take a closer look immediately inside is a small bar busy already at 8:00 in the morning we are big fans of the backlighting and the long stemmed roses if your table's not quite ready have a seat in this vibrant and inviting waiting area and admire the floor Mosaic absolutely gorgeous jardan dining room reminds us of nothing so much as a conservatory a garden brought indoors and set with tables well hello and good morning I am at jardan at the onour wow if you're going to have a fancy breakfast this is the place it is flooded with sunshine it's like being in the garden there's fresh flowers everywhere including on every table you've got this panoramic view of the pool and the gardens outside all these windows sunlight on my face and a balini in my hand who has a balini at 8: a.m. I do I love bis what a treat M peachy a little tart and delicious I of course have a cup of tea as well and sausage and eggs on the way my friends she wasn't kidding encore's pool deck and Gardens can be seen out inside every window in the dining room and at almost 7,400 Square ft it's a big Airy space we always notice the table configurations and these all look so inviting in the middle of the room is a skylight letting in floods of natural light on the live palms and the diners and the inset mirrors in the dome intensify the light great Added Touch jarden's designers were going for a feeling of being connected with the outdoors while you're in here and with the creamy whites the floor mosaics and the plants they definitely got the job done if it weren't so chilly this morning temps in the' 40s were guessing there wouldn't be a table to be had on the patio the gas burners were on but still no takers manicured head edges formal [Music] Gardens encourse Exquisite pool deck and linens in shades of spring green who wouldn't want to have breakfast or lunch out here I'm back I have sausage and eggs and as per usual let's try the sausage first I asked for an extra crispy looks like it is the skin is super crispy that is a really delicious herb and spice seasoning on the sausage it pops more than your basic Johnsonville I will say that that is really exceptional sausage now my server also asked if I would like to throw a little cheddar in my eggs and since I already said I'm having an extravagant breakfast sure why not little cheddar in the eggs yum I love cheese I love egg and cheese together and that is superb the eggs are done just right it is three eggs on this plate so I really have a lot of food to eat and I have to show you these are my I'm going to pick them up pardon my fingers and these are my hash brown potatoes with a little yellow tomato on the top I have to bite into those cuz they're too cute let me see I think they do something similar to this at sidell's where you actually end up with a a hash brown that's kind of formed in a circle [Music] M winter Crispy Crunchy some chives in there not greasy I'm going to eat that whole thing I love it oh and some rye toast as well and some condiments I gave me some uh butter jam and ketchup as well I don't do ketchup on eggs but maybe you do hey I am going to enjoy this fabulous jardan breakfast so Paula you went and had all three breakfasts which was your favorite or how did you rate them in one to three that's really hard to do how about if I rate certain aspects of them because I gave this a lot of thought it's a pretty apt comparison they were all done on a weekday they were all done between 88 and 9:00 a.m. so it's pretty uh appropriate to compare them to one another the best sausage was Juniors really I loved no I did taste Juniors cuz I was in the room upstairs yeah yeah and it's really good it's really good the best eggs were jardan with a cheddar big thumbs up on that those were great the best sides and accompaniments were chica I loved the Latin thing and that fresh squeeze juice that look on my face that was real I loved that now what everybody's going to say is those were very expensive breakfasts there wasn't one under $20 chica was actually the cheapest at 20 bucks and the other ones went up from there um well the last one of course you had the balini right yeah plus it was an extra50 for the cheddar so yeah it was it was an extravagant breakfast but I meant it to be that was kind of on purpose so in terms of room and Ambiance you could take a look at Juniors and it's bustling and busy and every table's full and then you go to Chica and you're literally like the only one in the room so I guess it all depends on what you want yeah the rooms were absolutely gorgeous I'll tell you what but you know so don't complain cuz she went to do this and uh we're doing it so you don't have to do it go pay the money maybe you'll be interested in a fancy breakfast like we said in the intro you don't have to spend a ton of money to have a really nice gastronomic experience in Vegas and I can prove that because she went and had H you had sausage and uh scramble egg eggs was my my stick ladies and gentlemen I have my favorite sausage and egg place to go for here in Los Vegas it's called McDonald's it's the golden arch it's the sausage and sausage Muffet McMuffin with egg and you know what it cost here's my price two for $5 can't beat it right here all right there I said what I had to say I love a sausage muffin
