our next guest is a talented actress and she has a new movie out entitled the proposal and you can see it beginning a June 19th please welcome and I'm told by the way that this is the first rom-com of the summer movie season what does that mean huh what does that mean romantic comedy oh oh I'm sorry I was told this was an industry crowd well first romantic-comedy of the cd-rom or some no no no no what but it's tremendous you should go see this movie and thank me later ladies gentlemen here's the very lovely Sandra Bullock everybody brother back you look great I don't I don't know what to say why it's been three years I mean did something go haywire was it me was it you or you have you been busy or what watch our last interview uh but it was fine was it okay it was fine yeah you were hoping for better kind of oh I'm sorry you know I was watching this movie and it's very funny and very entertaining thank you for going by the way I think well what do you mean why wouldn't I go most people who interview you don't go she goes oh tell me about the plot oh yeah yeah well I was there I was there and and also ate now here's one thing that won't won't spoil any of it you know not a film spoiler the the scenery it's supposed to be Alaska yes and it's stunningly beautiful but I kept saying to people I bet that's not Alaska I'll bet that's not a last why where was it well it's do some of it was Alaska but we shot it in Rockport Massachusetts Rockport Massachusetts gorgeous so beautiful there but not Alaska yeah well but it might as well be and and and but I I mean why couldn't you just say we're going to Rockport Massachusetts and forget pretending here in Alaska I don't know Dave yeah it's gonna be another three years yeah well uh no no no no ho no began agree no don't I will uh now let me just say one thing about this now III don't think you've been naked in other films well not to the naked eye of the viewer what what I don't think anyone seen no look on your face up oh yeah well I just I didn't I didn't know I mean I've I've been I've been somewhat disrobed but not where it was filmed yeah you know me you're talking about just a little something for the crew cuz I'm a giver I understand and I don't want to make a bigger deal out of this and we need to but I don't say bigger when you talk about a woman's naked yeah but I sorry I indigestion so who is responsible I'm sorry too much pre-show soda yeah that's right but you are just beautiful just absolutely beautiful and now you know all the time they'll say well were you nervous and how did you feel about that and did you as your family seen it adjust so all of that stuff out were you nervous um was i nervous yes I mean I'm doing it to make people laugh but you got to really realize that when people are laughing at your body you just have to accept it is a good thing mm-hmm um I'm trying to I'm trying to accept that laughing at my nakedness is a good thing I think they're laughing more about the situation than you like your body because you and what about the crew well it's okay were you nervous to do that season you you do I mean we wanted it to be funny was all about choreography they stick little things on your body false modesty which are then stuck to your partner by the end of the day like he's wearing my pasties I have his whatever that's called fee gentlemen come on hammock area whoa whoa and uh God so you really do have to quickly become comfortable now I don't know about the crew because they had to see it from literally behind yeah so I have to apologize again don't know that that maybe those maybe the seats you want well anyway uh yes yeah I enjoyed I enjoyed the film even if this hadn't occurred but I enjoyed the the film and your co-star is a high Reynolds that's right Betty whitens Veni fellow Betty White for heaven's sakes yeah better way she's great is unbelievable yeah Betty right now let's talk about your husband this is a Jesse James and here's what I know about Jesse James he from Long Beach California correct correct and I think that he started in like a race hot rod builder a motorcycle builder yes and I had a television show the monster garage correct and now he has a show called the Jesse James I'm a dead man which is sad scary now tell me about that show that's a horrible show I'm gonna kill him yeah what it's about that's but what did they giggle in that program he'd he'd try certain things you test science he tests the machine he puts himself in the place of people who actually do this and actually now he right at this very moment and I don't know because I asked not to be told until I get the email that he's fine or that it was successful he's attempting to break the land speed record in the hydrogen car that he built hydrogen car what does it what does that mean hydrogen hydrogen engine trying to break the land speed back what is that record I think BMW had it at 182 he'd like to go 300 300 miles oh wow Wow yeah so that's that's why I just let's keep talking let's keep talking yeah he does this I mean even before here's a guy who was living life right on the edge yeah uh read me yeah and that was but you must fennel this guy will always kind of get your attention to makes you nervous about a lot of sudden you wonder what he's up to are you I'm constantly fearful for his welfare honestly I think he's amazing at what he does I am fearful when he drives in the car with me on the freeway that is when he's a horrible driver really he's horrible it was here's the guy right here this fool now and how long you guys been married we're getting on we're getting on for years or years so in any relationships give and take and as any of what he is known for become of interest to you well I mean you know as I've taught him about important things like Kristin uber tall shoes you know like he which he can say without prompting I said those shoes and he says that I've learned how transmission works I've learned how to weld I I do you know the the manly stuff around the house while he rests a puppy rest and what is he resting up for I died the next day no no but you go motorcycle riding with a guy died your bike I all right on the back with him I have my own dirt bikes I love dirt biking it's just it's incredible where do you go dirt biking we've gone in Baja along down the coast of Baja that's I don't know what is that like is it is it beautiful beautiful because there it's still like the Wild West I mean your biggest obstacles in emaciated cow in the middle of the street you know so right just have to know how to stop which at that time I didn't but I learned so their little little towns up and down the Baja put them down you just stop there's a little shack where they might have some you know tequila and whale watching you know I'll do a shot and get behind that bike and just tear it up uh any any trouble with Bandidos um not at that time but but but you know there's you have to be careful when you're down there cuz it is it's the Wild West it is a Wild West yeah uh we'll come back here and finish talking with a Sandra Bullock you're sweet we you know we got the thing and we got another email here uh dear Dave watch your ass Jesse James coming just keep coming in yeah thing what Odetta now tell me what you've been doing for the last three years because I know there have been other stuff going on for you tell us what it has been okay Dave yeah I'm gonna tell you food uh I've I've I've been you know if I work but it's just not in what do you do I restore old buildings I have an avocado farm that I bought really yeah where is that and right out Dolan serious it sits right in inland from San Diego it's away from the water and it was an old avocado farm that I decided I was gonna learn about farming is it big what's the 50 acres but we drilled all our own wells and are trying to do it all on solar and do organic farming and roots it's very profitable apparently yeah yet but it will be well uh you know who else that I think Tom Selleck had an avocado farm yeah and and he said it would take a while three or four years for the trees to mature see exactly what it is to become organic it's cuz our cheese trees are already mature we just had to switch from chemically raised organically and and fascinating stuff what to me it is they're they're they're popular items aren't they they are Bert seems to be especially with guacamole oh yeah the guacamole golly but I mean the market for avocados is always is Brio apparently it's the number one selling produce only only Meyer lemons are right behind it well some yeah and avocado is what I remember is that there are two kinds there the smooth skin and then there's the nobbies gasps which do you have I I have both actually and we're trying to blend them they're doing their splicing the trees and blending is that a good idea I'm told so it's a hybrid avocado you boy yeah you whyphy I think you people prefer one or the other but apparently the one that I had was better than the other so they're trying to make them all it's like homogenous Asian I think I think they should remain unique and different I said why segregate you know why exactly hey let's let them live together in harmony and our my avocado man said nope yeah that's interesting yeah because I would have thought if you if you got a particularly good strain of one or the other you would stick with it what double that's what he's telling me and we had a well-wisher with you know like with the stick the driving rather that's how we found my wells is there anything to that is it some sort of I mean obviously you found water yeah but he times it 50-acre is sooner or later you're gonna stumble on water not like we're just surfing mountain so idly landed on water every single time it I don't know how this works I mean you know obviously the the Indian culture has been living off of this this way for thousands of years and he didn't know where this is where you and Jesse James live together no it's well we lay it's close to where we live it's about an hour and a half from which so I figured at least he'll go there with me and he maybe he can't build something that will kill him or blow us up don't even know I say it it won't happen do you do you guys live in the Texas together in Austin yeah Austin is a nice town it's good yeah what kind of stuff do you do there um I I work around the house and let him rest again yes yes that's what that's what a good wife does you working around the house what are you doing to the poor man but he needs so much rest one way you're going to kill him we have the let's take a look at the clip this film is called the proposal that opens June 19th at sander tell us Southeast Alaska oh wow incredible maybe a Ted loose in certain areas but anyway oh sorry I'm a bit chesty to begin with and I happen to be knocked up when I wore this oh let's see if we can find your
