in this video we're going to be comparing the Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy a55 stay tuned all right everyone hopefully guys are having a good day hopefully everyone is safe out there as you guys can see the Galaxy A35 right here is on the left and the Galaxy a55 5G is on the right side I've been using these devices off and on for over a month now and uh I just want to compare them as far as like the specifications and the price and all that type of stuff now as you guys know the Galaxy A35 5G was released at a price tag of about $399 and the Galaxy a55 was launched at a price tag of about $499 so this device is about $100 more retail price I'm sure a lot of you can get this device somewhere else cheaper but it is going to be the Latin America bands so you won't have like the warranty for this device in the United States but we're just going to stay right here with the launch prices of course A35 400 bucks a55 $500 both were released in March so March 15th were the release dates of these devices as far as the build of these devices goes they're pretty similar for the Galaxy A35 we have a glass back and we have vicus Gorilla Glass on the front I believe it's Gorilla Glass vicus 2 so it's a very very nice premium build on the Galaxy A35 still however we do have a plastic chassis on the outside so it makes it feel a little less expensive um I don't think a lot of people even noticed but for the Galaxy a55 this is all around a super premium build we have a glass back of course we have the gorilla glass vicus on the front and we also have an aluminum chassis on this phone so we have some nice brushed aluminum so of course the build is going to be much nicer on the Galaxy a55 however this is going to be a heavier phone at 20 113 G compared to 209 G both these devices as well have IP67 dust and water resistance so that's nice to see that we have that on both of them really cool as far as their display goes both these devices have a super AML display 120 Herz refresh rate on both of them as well and uh both of these devices also have a th000 nits brightness so they are going to be bright displays outside in the bright light so if you guys are outside doing work a lot if you guys go to the beach a lot and stuff you guys are going to have no issues using these devices in direct sunlight so it's nice to see we have some really bright screens on some mid-range phones now uh the difference in displays on these phones is that the Galaxy a55 actually is capable of HDR so if you guys have a Netflix subscription that supports HDR or you guys watch HDR videos this is going to be supporting that so that's what HDR entails with the Galaxy a55 for most people I don't think you guys are even watching HDR content but it's always nice to have it as far as our screen size and our phone size both these devices are 6.6 in so they are both the same size we both have always on displays as well so for the most part the only thing the a55 has over the A35 is that HDR capability now here's where a lot of stuff changes the platform on these devices first and foremost both these devices have Android 14 one UI 6.1 we're not going to have any of the crazy new artificial intelligence features uh those are actually saved for the S Ser devices so if you guys want stuff um like live transcribe or translate or you know certain things like Circle to Google those are going to be on the S Series devices so these devices don't have them but overall this is a very polished UI I think Samsung is one of my favorite um uis or one UI is one of my favorite operating systems I really haven't had any issues um as far as like the day-to-day task go so I think both of these are pretty much the same now when we get into our processors both these devices are going to have inhouse Samsung processors so the Galaxy A35 5G is going to have an exos 1380 and of course the bigger brother the Galaxy a55 the device we were supposed to get to replace the A35 has the exos 1480 now on paper and in real life the galaxy a55 of course is going to have the better processor it seems like video games like gench and impact and day-to-day tasks run better on this it's not like it crazily outshines the A35 but it's definitely going to be a better running phone and more efficient as far as the key differences go between the a55 and the A35 when it comes to the 1480 compared to the 1380 the 1480 is going to have a higher GPU frequency so we're going to have a 37% higher GPU frequency it's also going to have a smaller size transistor so we have four versus 5 nanometers it also gives us a better score on our n22 Benchmark so we get 723000 compared to 593 th000 the exos 1480 was also announced 1 year and 1 month later so this is going to have a newer processor than the A35 processor and of course we have a 15% higher CPU clock speed with a score of 2,750 versus 2400 so of course the processor on paper is going to be better than the Galaxy A35 but for the most part I feel like most people wouldn't even notice especially if you're not playing Super graphic intensive games uh like genin impact or Super Crazy Action RPGs like that um I feel like most people are going to be totally fine the exos 1380 is totally fine on the Galaxy A35 and for most things like day-to-day task I haven't seen glitches or hiccups on both of these devices so it's honestly been a decent experience so far both devices can expand memory via micro SD card we also have different options for both these devices we have a 128 GB of storage option we also o have a 256 GB of storage option and we also have a 6 8 or 12 GB of RAM option on both these devices so both have the same storage and RAM options now getting into the good stuff getting into the cameras on here so first and foremost the Galaxy A35 5G is going to have a main 50 megapixel wideangle camera our secondary is going to be an 8 megapixel Ultra wide and our third is going to be a 5 megapixel macro this is obviously capable of LED flash and HDR and our video is going to be 4K 30 frames per second or 1080p 30 and 60 frames per second and as far as our front-facing camera we have a 13 megapixel wide angle shooter capable of 4K at 30 frames per second or 1080p at 30 frames per second going over to the Galaxy a55 our main camera is going to be a 50 megapixel wideangle camera our secondary is going to be a 12 megap Ultra wide and our third is going to be a 5 megapixel macro also uh capable of LED flash and HDR of course and we can either shoot at 4K 30 frames per second 60 frames per second or 1080p at 30 or 60 frames per second and on the front right here we have a higher megapixel count as well on the Galaxy A35 so we have 32 megapixels on this front-facing camera compared to the A35 is 13 megapixels so we can also shoot at 4K 30 frames per second and either 1080p 30 or 60 frames per second so which camera is better we're going to go over some photo samples right now and I'll let you guys decide in the comment section down below but I think this surprised me the most about these phones [Music] [Music] all right guys so this is the front-facing camera full HD 30 frames per second it doesn't look like it does 1080p 60 frames per second so this is how we are looking on the Samsung Galaxy A35 honestly they've made some really big improvements compared to last year's a30 devices and of course if you guys saw my a15 video looks a lot different um from the A14 so they're doing a lot of a lot of work on the sensors and the software and stuff so it looks pretty good so far all right guys so this is the front-facing camera 30 frames per second 1080p a loud train loud loud train with this little horn going on right now but this is the Galaxy a55 1080p 30 frames per second let me know what you guys think now we have UHD or 4K at 30 frames per second and this is how it is looking we're going to go ahead and walk around but this is looking quite nice honestly for people that want to Vlog or do stuff like that you guys can go ahead and do this on one of these cameras this is mid-range phone now kind of looking like a flagship device so is this how it looks looking nice looking nice of course UHD 30 frames per second right here this is how that looks 4K 30 frames per second think it's looking quite nice Definitely updated the sensors on these devices and then of course this is full HD 30 frames per second on the Galaxy A35 right here got some clouds rolling in here in Southern California so gonna have a light drizzle or whatever later but this is 1080p 30 frames per second of course going to the rear-facing camera on the Galaxy a55 running 1080p 30 frames per second got a little three and a half time zoom right there very very St stable 0.5 time zoom so we have a wide angle mode that we can go and use on here Zoom looking good and this is now 1080p 60 frames per second this is how it is looking on the Galaxy A35 I apologize for having to reference the phone every single time it's just easier for me and edit when not all of these videos look the same this is uh 1080 60 frames per second though it honestly doesn't look too bad the stabilization looks much better uh than last year's device so I'm liking what I'm seeing so far it's looking very premium look at that the color is kind of off these are looking teal on the camera but these are Jade in real life these are like green so but 1080p 60 frames per second right here now full HD 60 frames per second on the Samsung Galaxy a55 this is how that is looking I think it looks quite good as well let's go ahead and walk up here got the chocolate bash I like this place a lot Cafe x2o that's my place right there this is how this is looking though 10 1080p 60 frames per second looking pretty decent and of course we have UHD 30 frames per second we do not have 60 frames per second on the A35 right here so this is how it's looking for UHD 30 frames per second let's go up here again we're getting some good detail and some good lighting and stuff like that so I'm surprised with the A35 um liking this phone so far it's kind of little pocket power right here for 400 bucks or little bit under 400 bucks at some places this is 4K 8 time zoom five time zoom I'm really impressed with the stabilization so far though it's it's looking decent and as for UHD on the Galaxy a 55 this is what you can expect UHD 4K let's go and zoom in a little bit it's looking closer and closer to a flagship phone every single year with the A50 series and a30 series very much surprised me there was a huge jump on the a15 but the Galaxy a55 4K only goes up to 30 frames per second we're not going to be going up to uh 60 frames per second or whatever but this is how this looks for 4K at 30 frames per second all right guys so you have seen the photos and you have seen the videos on these devices all in all I think the video is pretty much the same I think the stability may be a tiny bit better on the Galaxy a55 but honestly not too much better I feel like the colors and the clarity and everything and the sharpness looked really good on both of them and even the stability on the A35 for video even the 60 frames per second video looked really good so I think for the video on here it's it's kind of hard to say it's kind of hard to say which video looked better let me know in the comments section down below now same thing with the photos on here I feel like the Galaxy a55 was a bit more true to life with the pictures that we took but they also looked a little bit more washed out for some reason the A35 had a little bit more contrast in its photos and I felt like that looked a bit better for whatever reason but let me know in the comment section down below what photos and what videos looked better I honestly think the photos looked better on the A3 35 I think that contrast looked a bit better even though the Galaxy a55 had the more true to life colors and you can really see it Shine when you guys see the Reds in it the Reds look more true to life on here and the Reds on the A35 look a little bit more orange for some reason but overall I feel like these cameras are kind of matched and they're both really really decent also both these devices have stereo speakers both these devices are missing a 3.5 mm headphone jack both these devices have a in display fingerprint sensor that works pretty decently we also have a 5,000 Milah battery on both these devices as well and our top charging rate is going to be 25 watt fast charging on both these devices so no wireless charging either and as far as our colors go both these devices you can either get them in awesome ice blue awesome lilac the color that you see right here or awesome Navy I believe the Galaxy a55 does have a lemon option as well though so that was my comparison of the Galaxy A35 versus the Galaxy a55 of course the a55 is going to be about $100 more and if you guys are thinking about getting the Galaxy a55 and you're in the United States I would definitely recommend just going with the OnePlus 12r you're going to get more bang for buck in that phone you're also going to get a charger inside the box which is something that we don't see right here um we also have a snap dragon 8 Gen 2 processor inside of that phone so a much better processor than the exos 14 880 also 100 W charging and a better display and a ton of other stuff that just outshines the Galaxy a55 now which one is the better deal as far as like a mid-range phone goes now I'm going to be going with launch prices the Galaxy a55 was $499 and the A35 was 399 bucks if you're wanting to get a phone for around 500 bucks go with the OnePlus 12r like I said before but if you guys are wanting a lower and mid-range device go with the Galaxy A3 55g it pretty much does the same stuff the Galaxy a55 does I feel like the only thing that this does better is uh it performs a tiny bit better the processor is newer so it's going to be a more powerful chip set in there but that's pretty much it for the most part I feel like most people won't be able to even notice so I feel like the winner of this competition honestly is the Galaxy A35 5G I just feel like this device launched at such a high price it it it definitely does not deserve a $499 prize tag but let me know what you guys think in the comments section down
