The description of the inside of the station is kind of haunting. Dark, cold, claustrophobic, and completely devoid of human life, with no real knowledge as to why. It seems surreal to think that the USSR actually sent a mission to dock with and repair a derelict space station way back in 1985, under uncertain circumstances.
As an aside...USSR, did you want to get ambushed by Reavers? Because that's how you get ambushed by Reavers.
