yup the same you're not using we set this up for the head we're facing [Music] [Music] one in Turkey [Laughter] feeding time the twenties in this seventh week and they're growing visibly daily they're on about 21 kilos of food a day their feed ration goes up by around 300 grams a day at the moment and so the growth since they arrived is pronounced the Tom's our ability growing proportionately fastest you can identify the Tom's already just on their size 1 they're walking on one here obviously but they like their gobble to go good therefore in terms nice jobs and they've been crashing the fence a bit but I think they're getting used to it it's good to throw a bit of feeding before coming in because they'll come on crashing fence they look very heavy bird so if a hundred let's decide to go out the fence then off they go fence goes down so I'll close on setup we've just been tweeting the closest to getting exactly over there shanky nucleus of inliner cotton is get effective cutting of the grasses their function is essentially just to cut the grass so intense it takes a lot of horsepower to pull along the steel to the ground so that just reduces the amount of horsepower needed typically on the keyline flour use fluted odors which have more grateful art in the curve really typically associated key lime flour straight cultures would sort of give a bit of compaction smearing on the edge of the cut so ground condition it's good it's not too wet not too dry and tell me how to do this work so we're not really doing it is subsiding so much as it's making the pans the other plan our cuttings really very far the drivers means we go right up to the tent and we see how it goes you can back in there we've taken the mounts off the back and we'll see what we think in the first cut so we're doing a little test run for a few meters to see how we like to cut so I dropped it cuts through here and off to the neighbors this used to be their lawn it's actually our topical so the fiber optics now in the middle of the field then we want to make sure we're not going to be so that we make sure breakin unstable you now it's sitting on the desk where we'll just go a few minutes board and it sets the depth and in here if we like that let's lift it up we lift it up so there's no materia to change the depth about 27 having a mentor we discreetly filter in line again the Cubs on the close of the flow doesn't like the Latin isn't telling very well the calls are still off which is giving it a chunky cut but they're putting it coming down in there that'd be so perfect for planning in vehicles cannot subsoil and just getting ready to climb turn so really doesn't matter you can see how he's here so in a bunch of tree roots as you'd expect on the edge it's cutting through a little one have you had any big roots it starts to pick up the soil like you see there so if it's too big it just lifts out and lifts up over it think he's got on there and then we can just check the soil back down obviously this wouldn't be good if we were subsoil in pastures too lumpy leaving the ground like that it sort of defies the point of what we're trying to do but we're just trying to get in the cutting so it's really not an issue this is an area that won't be and you know use this passage anymore it'll be either going windbreak another cleanest job compared to represented in the pasture now but not bad it's gonna be perfect for putting in these cutting that's just not 27 centimeter Oh perfect gentleman the cutting I'm going to go to wind wake up here this is alder with spruce behind and they cut the forest down here they need a bit of a cutter the back of our fence so that helps will be win the bit we gets very windy down here little spruce in the background you can just make out where the olives are popping up and then we're going to do we lay down the sides here and then in front of the houses but we will keep that furnace plantain sure so coming along the front of the houses here and we are planning to put the willow in but then keep it trimmed so it's not blocking their view too much so it's actually a covenant on this piece of land saying they become put trees here but we've been researching it bit it's a very old sort of paper and I think it means no monocultural sort of plantation we put in nut trees so we're hoping to have a like open savanna planting gear with deacon and walnuts and chestnut pictures so it's all the little post you see in the field here and good welcomed somewhat recently so I'm coming around the inside Lebanon top there so we need to hook the water line up we could just take the water line apart as well but that's what just doing that job down and we're putting it away this weekend so we're leaving this until Monday and we'll get that kind of a thing probably an hour and maybe we'll keep an eye on it - the first week we have the weather goes it looks like a bit rain late in the weekend so I don't expect to have to water anything and they're deep enough it'll stay moist and covered anyway so all them in chalk the planet this is really what makes the Elms plow work these little terms are sitting at about 22 degrees so it's not got a flat bottom like many subsoils do it just smears the soils just this little tip in the wings and the front edge they're in contact with the soil so today we went about 10 inches down that's a measurement from here to the tip now let's prep it for our cuttings in breaking pin this is the shear pin and put in 18 mil miles feel that's got about four tonne braking force and that if we've hit a big rock it will set the shear pin and you don't need to undo the bolts in the field you drive a wedge pin in here it lines up the hole and you see those holes in the frame here or in the culture assembly so you can just pop a new braking pin in there and that protects the expensive cast shag so tomatoes are doing good in here so quite sure but lots of thick fruits that cucumber to getting food on now we'll print some of them off getting ran up a bit before they start producing really a lot of cucumbers and a lot of very nice-looking smile those have been just smacking the wire on the top to help the pollination and keeping them pruned suckers pruned off and keep stringing them up a very robust plant it's shorter than I would imagine before food set begins but different grapes so these have really showed up now and taking the first and snap beard off there'll be a lot more coming soon you see this baby one table is nice and ones on the sow I've been walking through chomping the bigger ones though and there's some nice little things developing a lot of growth recently with a nice hot winner and all of the Squasher really come on their gate cause it's coming and kale this soon on their way out come on broccoli is developing here and some nice head broccoli in there this is the gray Lake I'm just sitting up here taking climb app but it's about 20 minutes cycling there's one little summerhouse up here but it's on there and there's some ruined houses a bit further up I can't remember how far they might even be ten minutes that way there's a little rolled up here that you go along and there's some abandoned house that's beautiful up here well it's now 9:30 span I've been out fishing this evening just taking some space on the farm got some beautiful salmon tanned the river [Music]
