RX 8800 XT Leaked - AMD RDNA 4 Specs, Price, & Release Date

actually fast approaching some new GPU releases hopefully from Nvidia but also definitely from AMD as well if the leaks are to be believed and in fact we just got a new leak today that comes from the website Hardware times.com Via the leaker mores law is dead now of course none of this is confirmed so definitely take with a grain of salt however I will mention that this does kind of line up with a lot of other information that I've been hearing about rdna 4 and it's actually looking really really impressive so let's not waste any time let's get right into this one and I'll Flash the original leak on screen for you guys real quick but honestly it's a visual nightmare so I'm going to go ahead and organize this into one of my famous charts so let's get into those specs price performance and release date numbers first starting off with of course the specs taking a look here you can see that we're going to be talking about today the 8700 XT and the 8800 XT as these are going to be the most powerful rdna A4 gpus and taking a look at that 8700 XT we're talking about a GPU that should have around 56 cus for 3,584 shaders a boost clock of just over 3 GHz 20 gbits likely of gddr6 running on a 256bit bus for a total memory bandwidth of 640 GB per second no cash numbers are available at this time in a TDP of likely around 190 Watts now as for the 8800 XT this one's going to be a little bit faster in fact it's likely going to be a bit faster even than the 7900 XT and at the price that it's going to be coming in at this is going to be a really impressive card just wait till we go over the price performance and release date but first let's talk to Specs so this will be the fully unlocked GPU at likely 64 cus for 4,000 and 96 shaders a boost clock of likely 3.2 GHz 24 gigabits per second is the most likely gddr 6speed on a 256bit bus for a total memory bandwidth of 768 GB per second once again the cash is not known and it's likely this will have a TDP of 225 Watts so a car that's faster than the 7900 XT for a far lower price and at a far lower TDP that's pretty good but how much lower is the price really going to be for these two cards well let's go ahead and find out so taking a look here first at the 8700 XT on the n4p Node we can see that the price is likely going to be $3.99 and a performance of around 15% faster than the 7800 XT and again it's going to have a far lower TDP at the same time and a release date for this one of likely quarter 4 of 2024 and at the worst quarter 1 of 2025 although I think that's going to be less likely if the leaks from Mora's dead is to be believed now moving on to the faster GPU the one that I think is really going to blow you guys away that's right the 8800 XT we're talking about a card that should be coming in at $4.99 and actually be giving you performance of 140% faster than the 7800 XT which also is going to put it just behind the RTX 480 super which mind you is a card coming in at $9.99 so half the price and just barely a little bit slower than the RTX 480 super that is absolutely insane and do keep in mind this should be a 16 GB card as well so this is going to be like the budget Champion unless of course Intel has something even better with battle mage which of course get subscribed for more updates on that as well as there's a ton of information coming out seemingly like every single month but in any case yeah this is a really really impressive card and a release date of likely some time between quarter 3 and quarter 4 of 2024 this year so that is absolutely wild I can't believe how much more efficient how much faster and how much better pric these cards are going to be at least according to the leagues and some of my own speculation compared to what I thought they were originally going to be originally I was not that excited for rdna A4 but seeing the price to Performance which could be possible on these gpus assuming they don't mess up the drivers well yeah that's really really exciting stuff and it feels like once again AMD is getting competitive sure they might not have an answer for the 4090 at least until a refresh or potentially Aran A5 a little bit later but in the meantime at least you're going to have reasonably priced gpus with a lot of video memory and not insane tdps I think that's what people want most other than you know the fastest it's like either you want a 4090 or a 5090 or you want something reasonable it seems like yeah 4080 that's impressive it's fast but it's very very expensive expensive so a lot of people are going no thanks I want a $500 card and here it is but hey that's just what I think do you think that the 8800 XT can really be faster than the 7900 XT and almost as fast as a 4080 for half the price of a 480 or do you think it's
