RV Newbie | How NOT to RV! (First Time Towing FAIL)

use boards but we just need to figure out so we have to put the front stabilizers down oh put them all down manually you have to disconnect from the truck by putting the front stabilizers down yeah so just i guess you just have to put them down that it's sitting but not it'll be a minute i think we need a checklist yeah i think so i gotta check the other side yeah you're good so let me know okay good let me know when the hitch pulls up just to smidge yep yep stop i don't know yeah but don't you have to put the other ones down or those are just for stabilizing that's for leveling oh okay so the front ones and the wheels will take the weight so you can pull the truck out so if you weren't six foot two how did you reach that you'd have to jump in you will you throw your wife into the back that on the on the 250s and 350s because they tow nope all of them do even the f-150s they all have a plug really i don't remember that oh maybe i just never looked at it so it should come out now meant we should have chalked it first [Laughter] so talk first then pull out don't release your rig from your truck without a chop see i told you we need to use those thingies for the tires all right we need a checklist so in the nautilus after we disconnected after we auto leveled and we thought we were golden this comes up with a warning says excess slope we look and our tires are off the ground so now we have to go back re-hitch the rig hitch back up pull all the struts back up and then put a board underneath did you have to drive over the boards the tires no no no i'm not going to use boards so yet again we need a checklist this and a levelmate pro because we need to know this before we get out that it's excessive so yeah yeah all right retracting don't we have to hitch up first oh oh that's just the stabilizers you're freaking me out tailgates down yeah keep going oh yeah i'm [Laughter] charged off ready to go lined up yep click perfect don't you have to push the handle up or down or something okay just pull it a tad just to make sure no not that the truck move forward just a tad bit well the things are still down those stabilizers i know but we have to make sure that raise them up oh so raise them up we're not gonna hook up the lights no we're just gonna yeah don't leave the tailgate down checklist we need airbags can i have 500 for airbags no okay yes i guess i don't know okay so i want to have you pull the chalk and then that board push it where the tires were i'm gonna roll back on where's the board right behind you oh you already put it out all right yep you're on we chalked it hey lee don't forget to pull the handle is there a trick i'm missing do i need to like get some maybe i just need to give it [Music] gas oh lord what is he going to do ah stop there you're all right now it's out i got a little bit of daylight everything's hopefully it's not going to be scraping as hard as it did the first time we're not dropping the rig no the things are down i'm giving it the gas yes oh i pushed up the handle went back up why would it do that probably because then you put the pin back in it's sabotaging us oh you have to put that back in oh good to know nope open i'll let you know if it does it again yep is there a trick we're missing is this candid camera i don't know maybe it's up too high it did it again every time you get in the truck pull it [Applause] so we're gonna try one more time power truck is away from the rig and all the boards are centered we now have it on boards on this side because it was excessive auto level so we need to get snap pads and we need to get a levelmate pro there's a reason why people do these and airbags look at that no excessive slope we fixed it with wood yay you got that honey poop hose we don't need fresh water hose and this place comes with cable but since we're taking it to repair in the morning no cable but power poop so these two will roll up so good that we bought the long cable huh i'm probably gonna buy an extension too yeah it's always gonna be that one park i thought we have one and we need to get the 90 degree so it's not so much weight i don't even know what that means okay it's just more money yeah that's all i hear right put it in the 50 amp on board we have a surge protector so we don't need the one here so for all you guys out there that are watching this that we're
