RUTHLESS Review of Liza Koshy's Activewear Line

fabletics and liza koshy have done it it's the collaboration we didn't know we needed but it's here i was able to snatch up several outfits to try out for you today and let you know if this stuff is worth getting and how it compares to previous fabletics collections i didn't know this was gonna be a thing until my girl laura sent me a dm i don't know how i missed that luckily i have a phabletic store like two minutes away from me so i rushed my little bum over there there's actually a line to get in the store because people were excited but also because they were only letting like four people into the store at a time also quick disclaimer i am not affiliated with fabletics this is a totally honest unsponsored review i'm assuming that because you're here you know who liza is but just in case you don't we gotta go all the way back to the vine days when vine left she transferred over to youtube and has had a ton of success on this platform i think she has almost like 18 million subscribers but more recently she's transitioned into hollywood she's been in netflix shows movies even the host of a nickelodeon show fabletics ranges from a size extra extra small to 4xl a lot of their leggings come in short regular and tall inseam options which is phenomenal here are my measurements if you want to use those for reference i got a size small and all of the tops today and a medium and all of the bottoms this is a huge collection there are nine outfits total didn't get all nine some of the outfits including a lot of the outerwear wasn't in the store yet though well let's start with outfit one okay the first outfit is this cute little brown seamless set it's called the little brown girl outfit little brown girl just kidding it's totally not here's something i've kind of found weird about all of fabletics collaborations though like why would you not call these like at least the liza bottom or use like funny inside jokes to name the pieces which actually the little brown girl one if you weren't in on that joke that one's a little weird but like this is called the jamila bra who the heck is jamila i think it's because a lot of these pieces are actually pieces that they've done before but they're just now doing it in like a different color or print so these are the high-waisted seamless shorts i got a medium and they're a nine inch inseam i think they're all about nine inch inseam regardless of the size that you get if you've ever reached out and asked my opinion on fabletics i pretty much always say everything's really good except the seamless bottoms and that's just my personal preference because the way that they do seamless it's not very soft it's not very stretchy and it's the type of seamless that i feel like when i squat down it's gonna just run right up the middle you know i don't find the full length biker shorts to be the most flattering on me at least i generally prefer shorts that are like mid thigh and then the way that the design is positioned i feel like it's just making my hips look huge but in the thanksgiving entree is that look at these ham hearts and then like a fake front seam it's not an actual seam they put a design there to make it look like it's a seam i don't know how i feel about that and one would think you would just have a full camel's foot right here but you don't it's magical then they did the same thing on the back the seamless brown scores a 91.2 which means you're good with a neutral colored pair of underwear or no underwear with these the sports bra though very much a low impact sports bra i would say this whole outfit in general is more of a lounge outfit maybe some light yoga there's no built-in support or removable cut pads even i really like the cut of it though i like that it's more of a long line that's definitely my personal favorite then the back is just kind of a basic racerback style so this ended up being 49.95 for the whole set we're gonna know how that works in just a second okay but i think i'm going to like the sports bra paired with these bottoms a bit better the oliver joggers once again though who's oliver anyway these are adorable she was wearing a pair of lime green heels with them in their little ad campaign these are medium they are nice and high rise which i love with the thick drawstring waistband they have the big pockets of course with these cute lime green details on them a little short on me that's kind of my only complaint about them they're made from a cotton polyester mix so they still have a good stretch to them you might be getting very confused about these prices we have the regular price the member price the outfit price so i'm sure you've seen the fabletics ads the two for 24 that they blast everywhere it's real the first time you ever shop there you will get two like 80 leggings for 24 which is a phenomenal deal but it's just that one time and you have to sign up to become a member basically what it means is you get member discounts on everything when you think the word subscription you think they're going to charge you monthly they don't as long as you skip the month which to be honest i skip most of the fabletics months except for the times where they do the celebrity collaborations if you do forget to hit the skip button which i have to say in like three years of being a fabletics member that's only happened one time they charge you like 50 bucks and it goes into a member credit account which you can use in the future on fabletics purchases so you're not actually losing out on any money but obviously sometimes if it's an expense you weren't budgeting for it's still a bummer okay i think this next outfit is my favorite one not just because it matches my nails perfectly right now but look at this beautiful okay let's talk about the sports bra first it's called the harlow halter and it's like a true halter top style sports bra i love the neck lighthouse a little bit more squared i do wish that the halter strap was somewhat adjustable because i feel like for someone like me that's a little bit bigger chested i could use a little more support other than that i love it if you on the vapletics website they have a description of everything and the only thing in the description on this sports bra is reversible reversible because you guessed it it's reversible it is this beautiful chocolatey brown with a nice sheen to it the only thing is i wish the leggings were also reversible because i would honestly die for a pair of leggings in this shimmery chocolate color has anyone done a reversible legging these leggings are the high-waisted power hold that has a really pretty shimmer to it they are a 7 8 length pretty much every legging in this collection is a 7 8 they don't offer the short regular tall options so it's just kind of a safe bet it's not too long for shorter people i think liza's pretty short i don't know i have to look it up powerhole leggings are my favorite that fabletics does they're just solid quality they're usually always pretty squat proof the ranger green gets a 94 which is pretty darn solid in the squat test i would say they're most comparable to like a lululemon wonder under in their luan fabric definitely a thicker material that has more of a cottony or matte finish to it has the high waistband the seamless top and then it does have a hidden pocket on the front of the waistband if you're in between sizes on this one i would size up i feel like this texture that they overlaid kind of gives them slightly less stretch than usual so being a member i got this outfit for 69.95 for both pieces this doesn't make you wanna buy it i don't know what will this is the best marketing i've ever seen the olivia mock neck long sleeve this was probably one of the pieces i was the most excited for i've been loving tie dye lightly especially in sweats i got this in a small and it has kind of the oversized balloon style sleeves there's definitely a lot of room in the top of it and then it fits tighter at the waist this next outfit is really a show stopper definitely the brightest in this collection i honestly thought this color would be super unflattering on me but i'm kind of digging it we finally have a high impact sports bra i got it in a size small it has this really cool mesh detail i can't tell if it's supposed to be zebra and then it actually has a pocket in the back where you put your phone and then these are some more of the powerhole leggings these ones have pockets though both on the inside of the waistband and these big nice side pockets even though these are technically the same leggings as the green ones they score significantly worse you're still probably okay if you wear a neutral colored pair of underwear but these wouldn't be my first pick for leg day i feel like i need to work out in this set i can't really give it like a final opinion until i do that i think today we're wearing the lime okay the zest color though doesn't match my green shoes but it doesn't quite match my yellow shoes white it is i think i'm gonna do upper body and some cardio today this seems like a good outfit for that and in honor of this zesty outfit i'm gonna try this new pre-workout flavor that i got lemonade it's actually pink lemonade to be exact it's the first four megawatt i like their pre-workout because it's one of the few that doesn't make it's potent it's one of the few that doesn't make me jittery or shaky when i take it i always take about half a scoop honestly i take it like 40 for the energy but like 60 for the mental focus the b vitamins that are gonna really help with that it's sour that's just how i like it i shall link it down below if you want to try it i did a back and biceps workout also this is why i never filmed my workouts i caught it midair split second almost had to replace my 900 camera again and the final thoughts this inner part cuts down pretty low though like i wish it came up just a little bit higher i love the idea of the pocket in the back that you can put your phone in but like realistically it's not extremely convenient and the leggings honestly this fabric makes for a really good cold weather legging i wish the waistband had a little bit more compression though that seamless waist was just causing them to slide down a little bit i feel like i had to keep adjusting loved these mesh pockets though i give this set like a like a 7.5 out of 10 on functionality and here they are the zebra print leggings that's a lot of zebra oh yeah i've not rocked a true zebra print since like 2011. okay these leggings confuse me they're called the ultra high pure looks but they market them as their softest fabric ever but i'm not really getting that from them like you would expect them to feel almost like a lululemon a line that's super brushed on the front and back this isn't i got these in a medium once again they're the 7 8 length i really like the legging itself like the fabric can fit and stuff very true to size i just don't know if i'm quite sold on this pattern you know what the bulk of these leggings being white i was actually expecting a lot worse but you're pretty safe in these so the stuff that gets a thumbs up is definitely these loungy pieces really liked all that and then for a more performancy outfit really liked this set stuff that i could have gone without wasn't a fan of the seamless and then as fun as the zebra and lime are i just don't see myself wearing them a lot so all this stuff cost me a grand total of 429.65 fabletics is worth it if you get the member discounts they really don't have anything that i would say is worth paying the full price for say bye youtube you can't see a thing buddy
