streaming literally all day past this point very welcome to the stream we're into the makers and crafting category on Twitch apparently that is the place to go if you're a playing with Lego [Music] also have a Lego brick separator apparently okay that's fine I'll I'll turn this the right way up so you guys can have a look what we're doing I'm gonna go get the bags of America number one I think how apparently that's the thing now I haven't bought like I haven't bought Lego since I was like 12 I haven't owned it like it like the last time I think I owned was it was one of the Star Wars one like it was like a one of the fighters for the rep that the rebels had it kind of made like an X shape it wasn't the next wing it was like a different one it was like a big central cockpit thing it was like it was great it was big I kinda like a vertical wing up and one down as well I mean like one left and right anyone on the name of that like there's gotta be a Star Wars nerd here the Y wing is it the wily not really sure it's one of the wings Sara coming in as well Jesus Christ guys I'm gonna have a lot to catch up on rest assured I do see them though thank you very much twitch plays build Lego don't get the manual we have we you don't get the value oh we have to give you instructions via a chat that would be a nightmare could you imagine okay I'll leave the animal crossing music bags that say one it's that straightforward there's one that says one go to we're gonna be here well no this is a long stream and there's no rush we're gonna be here all night that's what it takes we have like six parts to do Powerlink before this is finished I want it to be very special for Christmas it's gonna be a big boy Lego set you guys want to make sure that you're comfortable I'm gonna have to take a break to get food during this because I already know it's gonna take like well over four hours how many bags are in this thing like quite a few and surprisingly not a lot of number ones I think those are the only two that we actually need right now oh wait no three we got tree boxes pretty hard to get a good angle because like my camera has to be in such like a weird specific spot you guys to be able to see the build but that box is empty now too okay let me just toss that in there okay so we're gonna need I mean I imagine we'll need the base place to start with cuz it seems to be based on the ground yeah I'm probably gonna need to turn the instructions do you actually know what I can do is so I can turn the instructions but look at like this the OBS to see how this works so that way you guys can kind of see - no that's not gonna work is it I mean let me just move the instructions cause we already got to put that in the base plates I'm not gonna be able to do this if it's upside down you could flip the camera feed - Artie I could do that actually hang on the way do I just make it so it's upside down filters affect fit filters scroll no just rotate it yeah how do I rotate it I didn't even think about it like Jesus Chad smart today that might look a little funky dough just cuz of the angle transform okay okay so it looks like I'm fallen or something oh but you guys can see it but it's like there's still like a weird angle to it if that makes sense this might work better I need to does that work cuz like now you guys can just read the instructions and I get the sium to makes me kinda sick that's because you were used to the other angle let me just okay this should be okay honestly though I start going that way and it gets funky real fast okay but that's true let's try it this is where the Australians in the crowd okay the first step apparently is very straightforward we're done step one already down look master builder you literally just done step good we've done step one which is the hard one taking the first step okay so I need to lay down a line of things I'll probably have to actually adjust the camera as we go along anyway because like depending the specific bit we're building we'll need a better angle so you know we can just work we can just change it as we go and look at that we're starting the build it's connected [Music] one brick and our minecraft IRL basically they have Minecraft LEGO sets which is kind of funny but it feels like you'll just be more restrictive minecraft if you think about it so here's a game that's about like have an infinite amount of LEGO bricks now you got a set amount of LEGO bricks basically the game I'm gonna follow the manual over here so you can kind of see like the corner of it I'll lay it out so that you can see what step were on so I'll keep that there so we gotta find specific bits okay the specific bits we need aren't in this one and they appear to be in one of the other bags okay so we're gonna have several piles I think know that I think that this one this one this one I think they're supposed to be this yeah does a few in here that look look correct at least at the moment we're still working on the base plate so I'm just pop stuff wherever we should be okay this is a complicated build stew this is like the big boy set you have to finally have to be 16 years old to play with these Lego bricks like advanced Lego okay the instructions is only four of these along here okay then I need oh no I need I need I need like a little great thing I don't see it I'm stuck Oh [Music] am I missing I need so the brick I need if you can see in the top top there Jesus that is non-existent autofocus I need like a little like great thing hang on I'm gonna I'm just gonna keep to just pop that all off so I think I need like the base plates in this bag now so I'm gonna dump this one over here I gotta find like an organizing system for this like pronto this is already getting very messy oh my god he's going to lose something oh don't say things like that please don't I know I don't need that kind of stress at least I know there's enough room my desk actually built this thing okay that's another bag down pop on these here we got to make like a complete like square at different shade no that's not that one's good no don't please Oh bowls at bowls would have been a very good idea oh let me stir see how we get on with this stage okay I think with this one we should be okay to keep everything just sapper I just got to be a bit careful Oh guys I think I go over the pop another one over here one there's two I need one more like that I'm are very close to mixing the piles already so I got to be careful it's fine just trust me you have to trust me relationship will never work unless there's some mutual trust okay these crises set is like 300 bucks well I want it to be something special so I bought a big boy Lego set III talk this up in the Pokemon stream I didn't want to disappoint this is like a big Boylan the alternative was Hogwarts but I realized how Hogwarts would take 16 hours to complete and is also incredibly tiny well I kind of like brick wise and it's just too easy for me to lose something that's not to say I would lose something cuz you know I'm good at this and I know where to find my bricks but Potter might be a little too stressful I need a brick that's in here next oh let me keep that pile over there that pile is there that pile has a bit of a gap so we're gonna put this pile down this relationship is moving a bit fast arity oh new more bricks they're in there but the idea with this set is it's like a old modular buildings and the idea is like you can take apart every building in this and like they all have furnished interiors so you have to lay down like a lot of groundwork so that you can actually remove them quite easily that is the intention so you can actually play around with the inside of them now but it does mean just in setup like this it's quite involved because there's a lot of stress based very small parts have to be attached what's this that called its assembly square I put the set name and the number in the title of the stream because I figure some people might just be interested it's in the Lego not so much here for me but that is there though you can actually look it up it's part of like a Lego series is aimed kind of for adults more so it's like traditional like honest old style Lego buildings and the base around like kind of mostly European architecture although it's like some American ones too I was like they're really quite pretty and like I was looking around for something special and like this is one other than I saw it where it's like I'd be okay what had to happen is in my room on this place I think it just looks genuinely cool I know I decided upon it I was thinking if people enjoy the stream today what we might - it's turned this into like a tradition or something and what I can do every year at Christmas is buying their set in the series is the cool thing with this particular series is that all the buildings actually connect up so over time you actually make a small little town village I think is very cute they see like a series of Lego buildings of course depends how the stream goes today because like this is obviously gonna be a very long goes up here arty the brown bits the brown bits are fine guys you why are you so concerned it's okay put that in there look at that it's like a base of a fountain shape no you can't see a tool because I'm missing a brick hang on it but just pretend it like I revealed it now look at that base of a found shape Oh clean Wow yeah yeah Dyke aren't you just a legit impressed on my Lego skills look how step so we have a start before we have a break okay you literally only started and like I've already poured out all the contents of these like it would just be easier to wait we're making it work there we go nice a Mon in here the color seems a little washed out - it actually is a little bit brighter I think that's just because of the way my camera does look very pretty right now that's okay using like the Logitech like basically gamer camera everyone has like literally everyone has us where does this go those here that one goats there and there's like a little cutoff point there okay so that's supposed to be a little gap in there so that's good the if I tuned into that's Lego people keep arriving in the stream it's like what the is this nothing have you guys not seen LEGO building blocks bricks even I think it was that far it look it so we need two of these ones the modular design again the back bit is fine so I just need to extend this across what is Lego do you not know what Lego is everyone knows of Legos it's basically like you know minecraft before minecraft I had actual build I know it seems weird minecraft has been around since the dawn of time like out what's Minecraft I hear now [Music] uh-oh there should be one more thing like this [Music] uh-oh B one more that goes right there Oh [Music] hang on no don't violently swear just yet it's alright and we we may have lost a piece oh my god I don't even happen yeah I mean let me just fill in the rest and I will go in search of this yeah so it's it's really this piece here there should be one more tile what I can do is I can wedge out this middle one and maybe use that instead but that center piece there is the same color yeah yeah it is the question is where have I used an extra one of these or have I actually just lost it this one's not the same color restart we can't restart guys real life I don't think it fell oh my god how have I actually lost a piece balls okay I probably should I got the balls so he goes already this is bad let me just keep looking it might show up it might have just been muddled I live in hope I'd hear like half a briefcase here or a drawer found it ha I didn't lose it I didn't I didn't actually lose it you laugh and lose it was under the bricks yeah I'm gonna I'll get bowls for Stage two we're gonna have the big two for this one save it quick guys this is a real life you can't save your progress I got quickly quick save it that's not how this works okay so we I think we're just building up the fountain area a bit more so yeah so we need a lot more corner pieces some of these small ones small ones it's like one two three or that tiny gap there bothers me but I think that's intentional at the moment I think there's gonna be something else that has to go there and then I need I need all of these corner pieces apparently so these go in like ear and they kind of just make a border the bricks are really different for Lego now like they're a lot smaller I know that's like the intention for this kind of set because you're trying to capture more detail but obviously gonna need to use more bricks but it's just really cool to see I have no idea how it's actually gonna come together even from like looking at the bags that are in the box as though it loads of them like they don't really have like a big centerpiece or like yeah this is the obvious brick that goes here that's old hat for the say that hmm still a little gap kind of bothers me okay and we didn't lose any bricks that time well good we have a lovely little fountain in sir there actually is another step here as well using the big boy brick see we're starting working this corner over here that goes there and this goes here it's like a weird funky corner block daggit that brick like we didn't have these ones even like ten years ago because I'm saying that like when I was a kid like we didn't have these bricks like I imagine there's some folks here who like had LEGO sets in like you know 80s and I could even further back in that like it's been around a long time okay so that's another one strip flip this over that's a good use of these bricks uh-huh can you see that this instruction is literally just take two of these and stick them together like that could be its own brick I think this is the like if you did this in like a standard Lego set it's like that's how I'd like you just loose bricks it's like you can never take that off like like you just try pull it and it's forever stuck apparently now that's that's an instruction okay pop that in there and then I think we have to do a bunch of tile and work on the fountain okay so let's work over here anymore corner bricks I love how these all in search as well like look at that until used to everything being a bit more blocky so it's weird to have like such nice curvature here like here is there any way it's gotta be some pokes over than me here like um what were like the LEGO sets like back in your day like like Lego is one of those things that has like been around forever and changed a lot this is already like the most detailed set I've ever seen in my life I'm like we're literally just like doing a tapestry at the moment ASMR before the eyes basically yeah mostly just the rectangular pieces I mean yeah yeah like Oh Batman Lego nice now remember that you're slow at building Lego well I'm rushing why rush like we're gonna be here all day as this this is my Christmas present for myself oh this is something I just want to have and I freaking like was so excited for this stream okay I'm slow but look you're tuned into a stream where it's like you're building this Lego set you know like you know you're in for the long haul it's gonna take a while you might have pieces you place down as your IEQ well I've already I've already placed I think I like at least 140 here so you know I'm very smart very smart man oh mighty never actually done an IQ test in the most the most most people have done is like the freaking Facebook quiz cuz if there's an official IQ test isn't there and pay money uh like quantify how smart you are it just seems very silly to actually do that though it was
