And that dress
made my butt look so perfect… I will never have such an ass.
No matter how many squats and hip thrusts I do, my butt will never be
as bubbly as the dress made it look. Life in Looks Hi, Vogue, I'm Rosalía
and this is my Life in Looks. Let's open this. This look. This look is very cute. I'm very fond of this look because this was my first time
performing at the Grammys and I didn't know anybody
at the time, I had no contacts, but Yolancris dressed me up
with this flower dress and I performed. It was in front of Alejandro Sanz
and the entire Latin industry. And this dress made me feel confident. Let's see the next one. Here we were at my village's cemetery, the Sant Esteve local cemetery,
and I was wearing my first Gucci ever.
I was so excited to be wearing a Gucci, but my shoes
were from AliExpress, obviously. I only had so much at the time. Next look. This one is a Palomo. Even today, this is the onstage look that I love the most.
And all that fringe, I remember dancing
and it moved like crazy. During this era, there were lots
of aesthetically questionable decisions, but this dress is not one of them. And I love Palomo.
I'm a big fan of Palomo. I 100% remember this red carpet. I think this is wonderful
and it's not up for debate. Now, if I had to wear it today, I might not fill in my eyebrows,
wear those golden earrings, because the dress alone is a jewel. I might only use the top
and pair it with other things, but pairing it with the sneakers
is bold. It was a bold look. I might also have a lower ponytail. It's from María Escoté, okay? I think the way I get ready
for the red carpet hasn't changed too much. I still do it in earnest. I did it when I started and I still do. Well, well. Where to begin? Who wears latex to the premiere
of a Disney children's film? No one.
But you learn from these things. You learn.
Of course, this won't happen again. The combination is terrible. The context was not the right one.
Overall, it was a huge fail. Also, the pigtails were unnecessary,
to say the least. Now, I think the nails are cute. Look, I was in a shooting. I was told I could go to the premiere. I'd never gone to a premiere,
this was the first one. A stylist friend
at the shooting lent me this, so I put it all together
and that was the result. Moments like this? Lots. But you end up learning from them. This is a beautiful outfit from Palomo. If I remember correctly,
it was inspired by Goya. That woman's dress,
I think it was Cayetana, the 13th Duchess of Alba,
or something like that. At the time,
I was obsessed with the Naked Wolfe, I always wore their platforms,
like I needed some height. But this outfit from Palomo…
I actually love Palomo. It's one of the best in my country.
And the long nails, of course. I was obsessed with them at the time. Well, simplicity is overrated. I think this is a fantastic look. Sometimes, being Baroque-like is good. Maximalist. Of course.
This look speaks volumes. It's actually very cute.
I'm fond of this look. When I wore it, I felt like a princess. To me, this is a 10/10.
I think this look is very pop. And, all in all, it wasn't too much,
because I had smaller earrings. I would have normally worn… Huge jewels, but no.
For what is worth, I think it's a pop look
from Maison Kimhekim, a Korean firm. Alexander Wang look,
from the American Grammys. I won a Grammy with that outfit, so… I think the glam was perfect, but my ponytail could have been lower and I could have gone
more chill on the eyes. Also, the nails
might have been unnecessary. But I like it. I love red, it's a must for me. I've always worn red looks,
I really love them. And I go from obsession to obsession.
At that time, during the Motomami project,
I was obsessed with Rick Owens, with Rick's boots.
I would wear them constantly. Here I was wearing a T-shirt
from my friend Dan, from Siberia Hills, an ACNE dress underneath
and Rick's boots. As I said, totally obsessed. Oh, I love this look.
This was right at the launch of the Motomami project, I don't know if right before the launch
or when it was almost done. Aesthetically, it was a kickstart,
a bit Motomami, like, 'This is my vibe now,
this is how I feel.' Of course, my bag was my helmet. The Nike pants
were inspired by motocross pants. The trench was Burberry's. The sunglasses were from Amazon. Just hanging out in New York. THE front cover.
I really like this look, this image,
because this is a look for me. It's a one-object-look, but it's a look. There's so much skin and it's so airy that you focus more on the helmet. I hesitated whether to wear nails or not for the cover. What do I do? Yes or no? And I thought I'd wear them,
because it would elongate the hands and it's a nice touch,
it makes it more aggressive. With Jimmy. I would wear this again. I like this look,
I like the colour scheme, I like matching lilac with nude. Also the fact that it has silk.
Silk makes it feel expensive. The distressed boots
make it feel more grounded. I like the combination.
Very cool, it's from ACNE. I remember this.
I was doing my first performance within the Motomami project.
Extremely nervous. I had to do SNL. My sister and I were
looking at the new stuff that came out. Pili said,
'Have you seen this from Marc Jacobs?' And I said, 'So cool.
Why don't we order this one?' At that time,
I didn't know anybody from the brand, so I thought, 'I'll send them a DM, I'll send a DM to the brand
to see if they reply.' And they did. I asked them to lend me the dress
and they did. I was lucky. When I saw the look, I never thought
it looked like a shower mat, but people said I looked
like I was wearing a shower mat. Can you believe it? Incredible. I thought it was divine.
When I wore it, I didn't think that. It looked divine to me. Well, I'm a huge fan of Pedro Almodóvar. I'd dreamt about being an Almodóvar girl
all my life, and it happened. I'd always seen Buika, so beautiful, singing in an Almodóvar film, Penélope singing 'Volver', so beautiful. And I had to be a peasant. My debut in an Almodóvar film,
as an Almodóvar girl, was with a scarf here
and dressed as a peasant. If Pedro wants me to act
in another one of his films… Pedro, you know I'm here
willing to redeem this… This moment I had to wear this. I would love to sing
in an amazing dress, Pedro. Maybe next time. Hopefully, we'll see. This was Givenchy,
with Matthew Williams, at the Met. If you ask me, this was a canon event. This is a 10/10 dress. 10/10. 100/10. That detail he added behind
that looked like a spine. Amazing. And the glasses, very Martirio-like. A nod to her,
because of the huge glasses… The tight bun. I remember I was on tour. This was during my Brazil tour and a designer from Brazil,
called Mala Fama… I don't know how he managed
to get that outfit into my dressing room. I found the outfit when I got there,
and I was like, 'What is this beauty?' So I tried it on, I loved it and I told my friends there: "Hey, why don't we dress up tonight?" Mariona, who did my makeup
during the tour, drew a very thin eyebrow and Sergio made my hair look like that, Serpiente also dressed up,
we all did, and we went to karaoke. It was great, I loved this plan. Oh my god. Brazil… It was great, I had a great time. This is New York. So 'basic',
walking around in New York. I wore my Yon Dere cap. I say Yon Dere
because my grandpa said that. My grandpa Jaime
was obsessed with tractors. So I found a Yon Dere cap. John Deere. No idea how to say it, sorry. But my grandpa was a fan,
so I'm a fan as well. And I created this look
with the ACNE dress. It's a classic in my wardrobe.
In time, I've learned to reuse the same garments
and use them in different ways. This is the same dress
as the Rick boot one, but different, with a mood a bit more chill. This was in Global Citizen, New York, with a dress from Elena Velez
that made my butt look like… I will never have such an ass
as the one I had with that dress. No matter how many squats,
hip thrusts, strips, kicks, etc. I do, my butt will never be
as bubbly as the dress made it look. Such a pity. But that's what the Elena Velez dress
is there for. This was Y/Project, from Glenn Martins. I love the boot's volume. It's almost like a sculpture. So cool. It was my birthday and I went out
to eat pasta in New York. I love New York. This is a full Rick look.
If you only looked once, you'd wonder
if I'm wearing a garbage bag, but no. What a bag! But no. It was an amazing dress. Tight.
It fit me… It gave me a wasp waist
that came from nowhere. And Rick's gloves. I mean, I'm such a huge fan
of Rick Owens. It's like… I love him. One of my favourite designers
of these times, definitely. That man is a genius
and I felt very, very powerful with this look
and won some awards as well. This dress is from Miu Miu. It's a custom
that I wore to the Latin Grammys. I won album of the year in this dress. How are you not going to win
album of the year in such a dress? Also a huge fan of Miuccia. Miuccia is amazing. If she ever wants,
I'd love to be her assistant. I'd like to be Miuccia's assistant.
And go… You know? Help her with everyday tasks.
Anything to learn from her. I'd love to learn from that woman. This one, well…
Showing a bit the lower part of my tits. Why not? I'll show them a bit,
now that they're still upright. I think I was also
at the Women in Music, Billboard. Very sexy, mysterious, revealing, but in a good way. And my makeup and hair are on point. I remember this was Coachella
and I was wearing ACNE. During the Motomami tour,
we collaborated with ACNE Studios,
they made clothes for my show. My sister found some beautiful refs, and with those refs, ACNE created the sunglasses, but it's from Rick Owens. At that point of the tour,
I was exhausted, too tired, I didn't even know
where to draw energy from. And this outfit
made me feel very strong. It made me feel powerful. Ready. So even though I was beat, I carried on. The process of discovering myself
in fashion has been a long one, but for example,
this look seems very cute to me. I did it five minutes
before leaving the hotel. I was going to perform
in a festival in Milan. Basically, I got my shoes from my sister. I bought the belt at the Vivienne Westwood store
in Harajuku, I think. This T-shirt is from a friend,
who lent it to me. So I combined all of it and went out.
It looked good. I remember I bought these glasses
second hand from Chanel. With this, I thought,
'I'm finding myself little by little.' I'm discovering
how to express myself through fashion. Not bad for creating it in five minutes. This… I did that thing on my hair myself because I wanted to give it a touch. I was braless. We need to normalize
going braless, feeling the air, you know? The heels. I love high heels.
Even if my feet hurt, even if I'm tired,
I'll wear my high heels. I think the pants are Thrifted,
my friend lent them to me. I love stealing my friends' clothes
and lending them mine. I get easily tired from clothes,
but I'm learning to reuse more, reuse pieces that I didn't use before. Very cute, I like it a lot. Oh, and this look is quite recent,
at the Prada fashion show, the first Prada show I've gone to. I love that long skirt,
the bag, the bag's shape. I love everything. Really. I'm currently wearing headbands,
lots of things on my head. It's very cute.
And the nails, again. You always return
to what you like, always. Very cute. I love it. Prada or nothing. Okay, let's sign it.
Let's sign the book. For Vogue, lots of love from Rosalía. Postscript: all my love to Anna. Bye, Vogue.
Hope we have many more looks.
