[Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] so okay so yes so thank you [Applause] welcome to goodwood the spiritual home of rolls-royce a purpose-built ecologically sensitive headquarters and assembly plant built on the historic goodwood estate famous for its links with motorsport and craftsmanship every new rolls royce is designed to reflect the unique design dna of the mark each new model starts with an idea a blank sheet of paper and a pencil then the design is brought to life through state-of-the-art techniques millimeter perfect life-size models of the car at the heart of every rolls-royce slice a purpose-built powerful but virtually silent v12 engine coupled with six or eight-speed gearboxes it effortlessly delivers an endless surge of acceleration as if it has an infinite first gear at wells royce goodwood plant there are only four robots but even they can't completely replace the human touch they're programmed with a handspring know-how to achieve a consistent finish time and time again but those hard to reach spots are still finished by hand even the coach lines are hand-painted each five meter line is exactly three millimeters across and perfectly straight not surprisingly it takes three hours to paint a single line every rolls royce is hand hand-built on state-of-the-art assembly line one of the most emotive moments is the marriage of the body shell and powertrain beautiful wood is integral to all rolls-royce cars many of which shop team have worked as cabinet makers in the past the combination of their traditional craft skills and modern technology helps make venues special it takes 17 days and up to 450 individual pieces of the softest level to create an interior for rolls royce the combination of top quality heights high-tech laser cutting equipment and traditional craftsmanship means every piece is perfect before rolls-royce leaves the planted scrutinized from every angle rigorous monsoon rolling road and suspension rig tests are followed by road tests to assess driving and acoustic performance workers hand polish the bodywork for up to five hours with lampswood before the car leaves the goodwood plant and is delivered to its new owner anywhere in the world so so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] there you go [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] okay [Music] wow so okay so um wow so [Music] so [Music] oh uh [Music] so [Music] russia [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] what's up you
