okay oh yeah check that out [Music] welcome to the crystal collector today we're in Utah and we're here with Rhonda from Topaz Mountain Adventures right here down the road they are bringing all of us out here y'all just before this we had met in the parking lot and today we're going on four different locations to dig what and even Matrix is having an awesome time stick with us here as we visit four different locations right here in Utah so we don't have long we're going to check out these locations and right now we're at the honey badger honey claim honey honey honey Onyx honey Onyx it's actually a Kelsey okay so we're digging calcite but it's called honey Onyx let's see what we got okay here we go all ready oh yeah look at that when that slab you'll see how and then it's going to so that'll make that'll polish up even yes nice nice all right y'all so far oh they're finding them I better get it going we got like 20 minutes at this spot so look it's all over the ground we got Bigfoot crystals all right y'all so I'm just got the old trusty s-wing a little small one here and I'm gonna go around and I think we just gotta break these yeah look at that check it out so we're just gonna break these open oh I just cracked one open and I really didn't think it was going to be anything y'all but look oh there it is check that out beautiful look and here's one just laying on the ground so I'm already nice all right I'm on a roll so you gotta almost you don't have to crack them but it's better to crack them off and well then you see what you have all right let's start cracking so I'm just gonna pull these out and then we're gonna crack them oh look at that check it out this one's got some interesting patterns not really kind of laced but chunky all right y'all huge chunk here I don't even know if I'm gonna be able to bust it with this but we're about to find out look at that you can see the honey right there oh it's beautiful all right Rhonda just said we got seven minutes I gotta hurry up oh my goodness look y'all I just busted this one open and it's the best I've got yet I'm just gonna keep this whole piece and take it and slab it up because look it runs all the way through that rock nice nice nice all right I'm the last one to leave I'm running I'm running we got to go to another spot [Music] that's it now when you cut those open they're round and round and round and round and round just circles they look almost like a oh really like radial petrified wood wow that's what we're after boy you gonna find them all right these algae balls are 500 million year old they're fossils that have turned into like not really a geode a hollow geode and I think we got a pretty good size one here right in the ground maybe I don't know oh yeah that oh yeah I think that's a that's perfectly round almost if so that's the biggest I found today so far nice I believe that's one they're coming out of the Matrix right here so you know what that means y'all they're coming out of the wall somewhere right here probably right in here but they're just all in here I noticed one here check it out oh yeah look they're all around look they're just sitting all around I know that's what I was just gonna break oh look at that banding I wish even that Center uh okay yep look at that it's covered in it they're everywhere check it out y'all and just pop that one open all right you can see everyone having an awesome time so I'm over here on the other side and look they are bigger here there's not as many but they seem to be pretty good size oh wow they're just All In this rock check it out all right y'all hear them way over there they're about ready to leave you're not going to believe what just happened I don't know for sure but I think this is the largest it sure looks round to me we're about to find out if it's not round it's probably not one but it's in the Matrix I think oh that's kind of sharp I can pull it out oh it is it's Gotta yep you can see the Rings there dude that's a huge one that is insane that's the largest I've seen today we'll see maybe someone found a larger one incredible almost got left on that one I was the last person out but we caught back up with the group here there's our leader you can see going down and off to the next spot what we are still going up this mountain it's been about five or seven miles on this road this chicken Jasper she pretty good chicken scratch Jasper or chicken Jasper I don't even know what they call it but we're about to find out why they call it that so for this spot there's about a 15 minute walk they say most of the groups already went down I'm kind of lagging behind but look at the view look at that look at these mountains check this out I'm going to zoom in look at that snow all right coming up on the group we must be getting into the area here we'll see what this Jasper is all about sometimes yellow feather okay so so it can't have the black or it cannot either one is collectible would we want to keep the play and stuff or those are the Jaspers okay cool now we know what to look for here okay let me take this stuff off let's go down here and here we go this is what we're looking for y'all right here see this look at that nice there you go that is a Jasper yep check that out that Jasper's even got a little bit of druzy on it so these apparently will polish up another one oh yeah we are getting the Jaspers all right y'all so I'm walking up and look at this the largest Jasper yet Rebecca and Maddie has just pulled it out now how you gonna get this up the mountain [Laughter] it might be pretty much solid piece of Jasper that's what you want you could make like dinner plate cuts out of that all right y'all that is wild all right everybody is getting these Jaspers filling up the buckets quick we didn't need long here huh the side of this hill go through the bushes here and oh yeah it's opening up oh here look at this this thing is probably several hundred pounds it ain't going nowhere today well that's that might go somewhere but I'm gonna walk up because look they are large pieces too many that I can even carry and take all right y'all all right y'all I think I might have found the source well not the source but a source look all this stuff is just littering and there's more and more of it and look right there this is the largest Jasper hands down that I've seen that's probably a thousand pound Boulder here let's see if I can make it up here look look at these chunks this just fell off of it oh so now we got to figure out do we even want this stuff which pieces do we want to take back I believe someone was already hydrating off that rock I'm gonna scoot around here look at this it's just everywhere all right we made it to the fourth location day what out and fun day it's been and check it out and we're at the Wonderstone location now look I didn't realize it but they said I parked right on top of it look at this stuff yeah look there it is so you can really find it here check that out all right so let's check this out as we walk up you'll see people are everywhere looking for this so I guess anywhere you see rocks sticking out of the dirt as you can see we're not the only ones out here today and you can dig it just as it's sitting out of the ground or you can find the in situ which is in situation look at this I think I'll go back and get my chisel because this is some pretty stuff all right so what is this stuff is it like Sandstone is it Rye light or what what is it it's a banded rhyolite that is um got a lot of volcanic glass in it oh really oh so it's a banded Rye light with micro glass maybe we'll have to take some out under like a master scope yeah look at that that is really cool thank you put out a couple neat pieces here but oh look at that it's a heart shake it out that is a legit heart-shaped kind of a funny one but that's it got them so we got a piece here to loose Maybe oh yeah check it out really neat oh look at that that one could pretty cool look at that so I did manage to get a few cool pieces out of the spot check those out and I'll tell you what this is just super hard stuff to dig through you wouldn't think well it looks like we had an awesome day here we went to how many four I can't remember four different spots it's raining so we barely made it out look at this I mean talk about look at it look at matrix's face he's never been in mud like that well actually we've been in way worse look at this chunk look you see the chunk that just fell off your truck oh my gosh
