animation I loved watching cartoon movies and I'm like how the hell did I miss this one yes I have the same I don't really know anything about this but I am very interested to see what it's all about consequences of being in a jungle type of atmosphere yeah although I want to do a jacuzzi in a jungle that sounds fun yeah that looks really cool looks like there's a pass right over there oh oh here we go a beautiful woman oh that means come this way oh they think from them [Music] what beautiful it is beautiful but like the question is can they see the true beauty of this or are they just seeing asking you to do something else entirely this is very sexy this is a very mature film I know I'm like oh hello this is much sexier we saw their behinds earlier when they were in the gym I know right it's like wait wait what is that this is for kids I could see parents in the theaters when they saw this like stop what what is this but it's just everyone has a body no I I know hey hey stop that hey stand back what are you doing stop that here's an order take the day off are you all right maybe they'll win the people's hearts oh no it's all right please I'm that I know how to do music I can do it's with me lucky God hello this is much more mature than I was expecting you cannot know how imperfect humans are the suit's vibe no yeah these people will not respect you if they do not fear you and of course we'll make them fear Us by for sacrifice as it is prophesy you should be the set of one yeah excuse us won't you let's go finally oh my God it's got a very dark Savage side to him yeah let these be the sacrifices yeah not the horsies though oh he finally found a horse that's like much more Fierce it seems the gods should not be playing ball like this well exactly this is how the gods should play oh no have you heard of this the loser I believe historically the loser would then have to be sacrificed the losing team gotta knock the ball through the hoop a hoop that hoop yeah all the way up there yes that is does not look easy are the finest boy like how they've taken time to give all them different unique personalities yeah we're the Gods hell that's how you gotta live little bit of a Jafar vibe that is exactly what I was thinking it's just like the sneering yeah oh he's like I'm living the life I've always wanted wow I want you to want what you want go on is Miguel gonna see the two of them together I don't know if he really cares I want you to come to Spain with me and Miguel that's what you did okay oh oh although maybe you might be right maybe he's gonna come in and see them he's like hey we got a deal [Music] so he just heard forget Miguel look at Miguel yeah bros before hoes I believe this came sacrifice is he gonna become like a big Jaguar monster oh maybe this thing comes to life uh oh geez it's like a Jaguar oh wow yeah always I can try with his movements yeah how about we forget the plan hmm you're gonna have to my my thoughts exactly Zilla Jaguar yeah I'm okay you needed that for the kids yeah seriously I was just really not expecting this in this film the horse just to fart all the time like just fart on him tape artist that's true we're the Spaniards gotta imagine they're very close by that's true oh geez are they are they at the volcano oh whoa I love that detail yeah Miguel sweating yeah but so effects of the lava two are fantastic yeah then why don't you just go back to Spain and I'll stay here and we'll both get what we want fine with me pal hang with me too fudge oh he's digging it right yeah yeah that was great I was convinced oh no yeah that was really convincing oh oh to the spirit world oh gosh guys nice that's the only way you can destroy him you'll find out if the gods really liked you in the spirit world you're right oh he's like this is it this is the god that I've been waiting for I mean he'll definitely kill everyone Lord Miguel has to live among us [Applause] everything is fine just sort it out you guys yeah now you all just live there it's beautiful place destroy the map yeah nice so no one can find it yeah ask no questions taken aside you can tell they want to resolve it yeah but too much pride yeah [Music] ah man oh oh okay dang girl she gets around she's out there kissing everybody oh oh he knows those sounds those are his Old Masters Miguel Miguel hope how can he is so far away wow he's a god [Music] look at him go that wasn't flying that was falling with style you don't think I'm gonna let you have all the fun do you [Music] no but you have to come back and help them oh tough to sail though whoa which gold are they gonna have to buy the time they get out of there oh my gosh a TiVo ah we made it worked what what oh she's scared she's scared yeah use your magic sir you look like a liar is there an alternate way in season there is no El Dorado here onward men oh good uh oh oh no don't let him see you why I don't think they're gonna listen to him anymore either way now that was an adventure yes yes it was and um I feel your pain yeah I'm fine oh he got a better treasure I was gonna say yeah [Music] cute oh very cute [Music] okay [Music] oh no don't do that don't eat that that was so lovely yes it was as I mentioned 50 000 times during it was much more darker mature than I was expecting of a kid's idea of a kids animated film kind of remiss that I never got to it back in the day when it came out what'd you think of the film oh no I really I really liked it it was really delightful and I think for me going into it I was slightly worried just kind of how they would approach the whole story about like El Dorado and these like white Spaniards coming along and kind of getting into the culture and basically taking from these people who lived there but I think that it was done in a nice way you know where in the end they're not staying there they're they just came and they experienced the culture and they learned something and then ultimately they then also we don't get to see like the Spaniards ravaging the the people in the land because we know what happened in history right like they were atrocities that happened so I'm glad that the film kind of kept it lighter in a way so we don't have to see that but then also I mean I don't know I I wonder when you look at it now with today's lens right and and I don't know a lot of the time people are like oh like a lot of these films have like a white savior complex or whatever and I'm like I don't know about that for this one I just felt like it was just fun and delightful and in the end everyone learned something even if they did help the the people in the end like they all work together yeah everyone came together and it was nice I I did really like the character arcs for both uh Tulio and Miguel I thought it was really well deserved and earned just in terms of when they got there obviously it's just oh God they see us as Gods this is a good plan for scheming to get our gold in oh especially Miguel like it was kind of a two-way street in terms of he had a profound effect on the people and the same thing was happening to him yeah he was like you know seeing like the way you know they live their lives and he's like wow this is very meaningful like I I can be meaningful and just like these people are sweet and they're lovely they're charming and I don't want them yeah and I don't want it and I don't want to just look at this as a scheme like if I can do some good here you know maybe my life can have some meanings and some purpose instead of all right on to the next scheme with Miguel uh type of thing so I thought that was really well me being just me I would have loved if they would have stayed there but again I mean this also like it said you know kind of segued at the end for possible sequels I don't think we got anything there was one yeah I think this movie kind of from I think what I read it kind of bombed at the box office oh yeah which I mean I would say it's surprising but my guess is like probably Word of Mouth camera like I don't know if this is the one for kids there's butts and then there's there's other things there's promiscuous things going on here and again like when I was growing up this would have been okay but my parents definitions and standards but I don't know how other people reacted because in terms of like quality I feel like it's it's a it's a good quality film good quality enjoyed it plus you've got like Elton John and it feels like one of those where it's a good one for adults you know obviously like we're adults now and watching it and just enjoying it and able to kind of enjoy a lot of the things that that they're doing here the jokes and stuff would definitely quite mature yeah but yeah it was it was just really it was a really fun fun Journey a fun ride and I guess in the end it's like ultimately you have your friends and you're just off to the next great adventure yeah I also really enjoyed Kevin Klein and Kenneth Brana obviously I had mentioned earlier that they had done everyone's favorite film Wild Wild West brilliant movie you know there are some people that are obsessed with that film my older brother but I will say that they had really really good chemistry I really enjoyed all their interactions you could truly feel like there was a history with these two like that you really felt that like from the way they interacted with each other they were really good together and I also loved was it El TiVo the horse oh yeah a little horse see this girl table was great and also Chell I like Chell a lot too like she had a lot of Just Energy and a lot of personality and Charisma like I mean like Sexual Energy well that too the moment she came on the screen it was just like the the way she's animated with all her soft curves and everything and the way she moves and talks and all that I was like with you having said that which I agree I like also too how proactive she was she wasn't like a character I'll just wait for things to happen and then I'll do things no it's like I know like waveboards right there but I mean it's I just liked like again like she had a goal and like in terms of like her trying to take gold and it's like she didn't believe in like she didn't feel like she belonged there yeah and so I could understand like you know her reasoning her motivation and like when these two came aboard she she could see right through them immediately because she kind of was them in a way she found her people yes so I mean I just thought the storytelling was really one of the animation I really enjoyed there were certain scenes too I mean I loved all the animation but scenes that stuck out when they were sweating in the lava yeah the actual lava um the little cut that we like I saw them bleeding before and then the cut that occurred afterwards I mean there was just a lot of care and love put into the animation absolutely and you can tell it was a lot of hard work I can only imagine so it's such a delight you know just like a nice one and a half hour long tight little animation I'm glad you mentioned the run time because it was paced really well that didn't overstay its welcome no it's just the perfect amount of time I mean if it would have been another five ten minutes that would have been fine too but it was paced really really nicely all in all wonderful good
