because of a certain Treasure Trove rival Wings has seen a rather substantial increase in players as of late which is great as the game mode is actually incredibly fun especially when compared to front lines but the obvious result of this new attention is that there are so many new players coming into the game mode that have absolutely no idea what to do which is to be expected as rival Wings is by far the most complex of the PVP modes we have available and since I've already talked about Frontline NCC it only makes sense to come for the incredibly fun but rarely played rival wings foreign is a MOBA s game mode consisting of two lanes one in the North and the South where each team has a tower that serves to protect the core at their respective bases by destroying a tower the core becomes accessible and once it's just the way the game is over however the thing is player damage isn't enough to destroy these buildings at least not in a reasonable time for this reason there are a variety of different ways to help speed up the process all of which are vital to securing a victory the first tool that you'll have access to is the mammoths every so often two mammoths will spawn for each team and they'll start making their way to the enemy structure only stopping if they come in contact with enemy NPCs or if they're destroyed by enemy players but if they do manage to make it to an enemy building they will charge it and self-destruct dealing a nice chunk of damage to said building now the mammoths aren't the only NPC that will help you achieve your objective as every couple of minutes a goblin mercenary will spawn in either the North or South side of the map that will join whichever team manages to defeat them functionally they are just much tanker mammoths that don't self-destruct so they last until their timer runs out or they are killed the other type of MVC that can join you is tied to the Cerulean engine which is another time-based objective that offers a variety of different Boons each time it appears these booms consist tough Gob tanks which will grant your team two NPC tanks to help destroy the enemy's buildings garbage use which instantly recharges your whole team's lb main to William tanks which creates a large amount of Cerulean to your whole team an important resource that we'll talk about momentarily and lastly Gabi crates which is a combination of the previous three but only becomes available after 10 minutes have passed to gain access to any of these Boons your team will need to capture the center Station when the engine arrives by standing in the highlighted zone now all these Boons put the exception of gobby juice which you can ignore are incredibly powerful and help swing games especially the main Cerulean tank speaking of which Cerulean is a resource that can be gained a few ways such as destroying mammets or picking up tanks in the middle of the map and what this resource does is allow you to use one of the key mechanics of this game mode the mechs you see upon collecting 50 units of ceruleum one person in your party can interact with a terminal at base that will allow them to choose a Meg to control until they either die or willingly leave it there are a total of three different mechs available each serving a specific purpose the first of the three is the cruise Chaser which are unlimited meaning you always have them available as long as you have the 50 Cerulean to spend they excel in dealing damage to enemy players and mix however struggle with dealing with buildings and NPCs such as mammoths the second and likely most important Mech is the oppressor unlike the cruise Tracer they are limited Max meaning that only two of them can be active at a time so if two parties are currently piloting oppressors then they will be unavailable to you until they either die or Dismount their primary function is to destroy buildings and they are by far the best way to do so as their missile attack is able to deal a whopping 1 million damage to buildings but the downside to this destructive power is that they are effectively useless against anything that isn't buildings so you don't want to fight players or other mechs while piloting an oppressor in fact it is incredibly bad to waste your attacks on anything that isn't a building meaning unlike a cruise Chaser who wants to be in the fight creating chaos the oppressor wants to be as far from the fight as their missile will allow them in fact if you find yourself being jumped by an enemy your best bet is usually to just try and get as much building damage as you can before they kill you and hope that your team will get the enemy off of you and last but not least is the brute Justice like the oppressor brute is a limited Mech meaning only two can be active at a time but unique to them is the fact that they only become available after losing a tower and once they're gone that's it that means that you only have four available to you during a game functionally brute Justice is a combination of the other two mechs being able to do good damage to players mechs and buildings which makes it a great balance tool as it usually comes online for the losing team first giving them a great chance to swing the game because of the pushing power that brute brings but their limited nature also means you need to be careful not to waste the advantage foreign with the fundamentals out of the way let's move on to some general tips you're going to want at least one person to Pilot your party's Mech and another person to gather Cerulean from the middle to keep you above 50 units now this isn't something that you have to sign before a match begins rather something that you and your party need to keep in mind as the game goes on if no one is piloting your team's Mech then you need to go back and do it yourself if you notice your party is getting low on Cerulean then take a quick trip to the middle and pick up a couple tanks it doesn't matter who does it as long as it gets done the next important thing to know is objectives you almost always want to make an attempt for the goblin mercenaries and or the engine unless it's garbage juice in which case you can just completely ignore it getting these objectives for your team can generate a rather substantial amount of advantage in fact winning a Cerulean tank from the first engine can lead to an easy win if the enemy team isn't ready for it you see at its core rival links is a game out all about building Advantage the more you have the easier it is to win and doing these objectives helps build your advantage or at the very least denies the enemy from having it which if you're losing can actually help swing the game in your favor and while we're on the topic of objectives let's talk about priorities despite rival Wings being a PVP mode PVP is actually one of the least important aspects of it in fact it's more rewarding to kill enemy NPCs than it is killing enemy players and for this reason your priorities in this mode can be rather different as in most cases the only time you actually want to fight enemy players is when there's literally no other Target you almost always want to focus on the NPCs first as they're the ones that are going to destroy your buildings not really the enemy players now the exception to this is enemy Max which you want to get rid of as fast as possible especially oppressors as if left unchecked they will absolutely decimate your towers and core and when you're attacking the opposite is true as well if you see the enemy players attacking your own oppressor then you'll want to try and stop them as fast as possible so you can get as much damage out of that oppressor as possible and that's basically all you need to know for rival Wings starting out everything else you'll just learn from playing the game mode itself it's things that come with experience if you made it this far in the video thanks for watching and I hope hope you found the video helpful if you did consider checking out one of my other guides which should be at the side here and if you want to see something different from me check out this video I made on Emmett silk with that being said thanks for watching and I hope to see you next time
