Ribbee's: The New BBQ Joint From The Owners Of Goldee's

welcome everyone Mike coming to you today from a from a windy Fort wor Texas we're at ry's barbecue which is the new restaurant from the guys behind Goldies a rib only concept that I'm looking forward to try but first we got to start the fire lord check out the Goldies Eminem smoker it's a backyard pit it's pretty little awesome concept that fireb directly into the cook chamber then off the exhaust man it's a beautiful backyard pit I mean solid as could be oh man that door is heavy look a lot of smoker doors in my life that for the size is a good one this is a solid piece of equipment nice logo there all right so they cook on an M&M rotisserie pit said they uh pretty much cook the day before like a normal barbecue joint but if they start to get close to running out they could take the the food from tomorrow's orders and put them out on the counter today you guys are open till 9:00 p.m. right yes open till 9:00 p.m. that's awesome um that's like the basically the hood bent so if I turn that on for I can I'll open it here in a second okay excellent those are the chickens we're doing on special tonight pretty cool man I love a good baby bag too baby bags are my favorite cut all right so you come into the restaurant got the register the menu couple of sauce options they have the OG which is a dry rub spicy hot honey which is what I got the Goldies you also get beef back ribs and right now on special they also have chicken quarters check out you get whole racks or half racks pretty cool menu today's special lemon pepper okay so coming in here is an old converted Sonic you actually have a a dining seated area this the no car hop service here so I went to the grand opening of goalie barbecue back in 2020 right before the pandemic hit waited a long time my first Vis to ri's whole other experience you walk in go straight to the counter I'm here at 12:30 on a Saturday I had no weight I was first in line to the counter so totally different experience but here it's ribs only you have a few sauces to choose from get fries COA a roll and a drink all for 20 bucks I um plac my order I sat down to get ready for filming and it's already here so let's dig in so check this out we have four sauce ribs Whoa man those feel like we used to get high school cafeteria some col saw and some fries before we get to the ribs look at these french fries nice and seasoned crinkle cut it's got a nice sweet heat to it these are really good french fries okay next up the COA that be anywhere excellent crunch uh I don't know not much not much flavor there let me go for another bite it's that cabbage onions red cabbage I love that not a huge fan but to be completely fair to these guys I'm not a big close walk to begin with but let's go to side here these french fries so yeah definitely feels like a a chicken tinger place here but with ribs I think it's genius let's get to the star of the show check those out nice baby bags you know I love a good baby bag again look at that bite through perfect bite through sweet heat baby backs my favorite kind of rib I dig these mean the glaze on this is perfect when you think of messy great saly barbecue this is it here I'm an heav fry little bit that sauce almost forgot about the rooll y'all this reminds me of a Schoolhouse rle you were serving this at any High School in Texas I believe [Music] it it's better for rib number two spoil alert it's just as good as the first one so I'm here with my family I think the um the spicy honey barbecue is good they think it's a little too spicy for them it's got excellent flavor my daughter wanted me to correct that she didn't think it's too spicy my wife thinks it's too spicy okay if you found this video enjoyable go and give it a big thumbs up if you want to see more content hit that subscribe button this was a great day I really enjoyed my meal I want to thinkk Johnny for taking the time to sit down with me and talk a little bit about Goldies I want to thank him for showing me the pit room I'm having fun here he's working but he took time out to to show me around I really do appreciate that so come check out ribbies man and if you don't like lons and you want barbecue after 2: p.m. this is the place for you Quality quality ribs that are pretty much available all day long like I said I came here at 12:30 went straight to the front of the morning all right until the next video the fire is out
