okay okay that's how we're trying to be right now hello beautiful people i'm shirley radlin welcome back to my youtube channel for today's video i'm doing something that you guys are probably already know because it's in the title and also because you guys have seen it everywhere there are thousands and thousands and thousands of reviews on this product and it is the revlon power of a dryer volume for a styler ave styler i nailed that this is the new and improved one i guess it's a good thing i have seen videos on this product and i have seen pictures on this product but i haven't really seen it on my kind of hair i have really big voluminous hair and i was just a little bit like this is gonna really work because a lot of people that i've seen have more fine hair i feel like hair more equipped for this type of thing typically i would use a blow dryer and a curling iron to get the results of salon hair but we're going to be doing it with this bad boy it's got three settings got a cool a low and a high i just like turned it on to see what it sounded like and it's intense a lot of the reviews that i've seen say that you're supposed to use it on not soaking wet hair that's why my hair is it's drying a little bit you can kind of see in the front here i didn't put any really product in it yet i'm gonna be using a couple things i'm gonna leave like a spray leave-in conditioner from ox i'm gonna also be using a blowout lotion that i've used in the past all these things are used normally to blow dry my hair so it's not like i'm using new things i use the perfect lotion by nature lab as well as the bed head smoothing balm and then i'm going to top it off with some shine spray from nature let's get started i'm going to do it with some cool air first to start and then move into the hot air because the reviews that i did read said that it just got really hot i'm not trying to dry out my hair i try to not use a lot of heat on my hair and to begin with i probably straighten my hair like a couple times a year because i'm trying to make sure my curls don't get damaged i'm going to start from the bottom and work my way up also i'm using a different setup today guys it's more a little bit more intimate i wanted you to be like in my living room with me because that's usually where i do my hair i just kind of have a mirror and i just kind of do my hair while i like watch tv and stuff but since i'm not watching tv i'm doing my hair with you i'm just going to spray my hair [Music] and i'm going to mix my nature lab and one little pump of the after cream and put it in both sides of my hair probably should have got a brush i'll be back just brush this out also this brush is like my favorite one i will insert it in the description okay all right let's try it out so i'm gonna use it on cool first [Applause] [Music] so all right cool is pretty good as you can see it's kind of straightened out my hair a little bit my hair is still obviously going to be really curly because there's no heat on it so that makes sense i like the top part right here and i'm able to like turn and it swivels around so it doesn't get caught at all which is great i'm going to use it on the low see what happens [Music] okay this is really pretty like usually i would need a curling iron to get it looking like this and i'm gonna call this like the ritual blowout because i feel like only rich people go to like the salon to like get their hair done and then come out looking like this with like the curls and everything so it's been like three hours and they're having a great conversation with their hairdresser this is the risco blowout i don't know all right i'm gonna try it on high because the roots here still are a little bit wet and i'm a little bit concerned about that not so much the ends but the top part right in here where there's a lot of curl and i want to know if i can get how close i can get so i'm going to try it on high and see what happens yeah i'm able to get right up in there in the roof and and it's it looks great all right i'm gonna speed through this and then i'll come back to you i mean look also look how long my hair is this is crazy before after and i don't even have any shine spray in it that's just okay all right we're doing this let's go [Music] wow that was really fast and this looks really pretty there's a lot of shine in there and i don't have any shine spray in it [Music] this looks great also i need a trim so my hair might look a little wonky it's been a while all right let's keep going alexa what time is it it's 11 53 am so just to note it's 11 53 also it's 11 53 crazy okay well it's 11 53 so i want to see how long it takes me to finish the rest of my hair because that took like no time [Music] hello okay [Music] i think what i appreciate from the brush itself is that because it's so large i can get a large amount of hair so i'm able to you know do bigger sections whereas with a brush i probably have to do a little bit smaller sections with probably what i should be doing if i want to get the real root area but we'll see also the lighting is crazy right now we're supposed to storm today and it's the sun keeps peeking in and then going away so i'm so sorry for any lighting changes [Music] now that i'm going to the top area i'm going to just put the bottom part in a bun to kind of retain the structure of like that curl that's usually what i do whenever i straighten my hair so that way i don't have to apply that much heat when i'm trying to curl it the top area is going to spray this i will say i was kind of concerned about getting my roots and it coming close to it but because it's got these bristles in there i've got the pink ones and it's got these softer bristles it doesn't hurt and it doesn't burn my head which is great it does get very hot so i had to move kind of fast typically with a blow dryer whenever i'm trying to get my roof i would use a blow dryer and just put a little bit of heat on it and have it go away put a little heat on it while i'm stretching my hair you can get the same effect with that using this just doing it really fast so you don't stay on the root and burn your hair so it's almost like you're just combing your hair out combing your hair out combing your hair up and then right at the very end just swiveling and then that way you get that curl effect at the end so my roots right now they're very straight which i'm like pleasantly happy and surprised with actually i wish this area right here was a little bit bigger just that way i can get a little bit more of a hold i find myself that my hand just kind of slips on it especially if i have a little bit of product on it it slips right i mean let's keep going it's doing its thing [Music] guys [Music] last piece oh okay let's see how it all looks now together moment of truth i mean your girls got volume baby for days for days wow the ends are really really pretty i'm gonna touch up my root just a little bit i'm gonna see what i can do all right so let's just spritz a little a little shine spray on it [Music] i mean this volume is really pretty honey what do you guys think how do we feel okay my thoughts well this is my first time ever using it i will give it like a b plus this is not as heavy as i thought it was going to be either also i have the newest one so i don't know if they've just lowered the weight or they did some configuration with the amount of weight but it's relatively light for for what it does downside i would say the configurations in order to select which temperature that you want is a little bit frustrating i had to keep stopping and then looking to see which one i wanted i couldn't just flip and flip and flip which is what i usually do when i'm straightening my hair i will you know have a blast of cold that i can just go in with the roof if it gets too hot and i wasn't able to do that i stop turn go back in as far as my hair goes i think it looks freaking amazing it's really really soft the downside my roots so i still feel like i need to go in there and either touch touched up with a flat iron or blast it with my regular blow dryer just because the roots aren't as straight as i'd wanted to and i just find myself that if i went outside and it was really humid my curls i would just look like a poodle in five seconds do they cut my time in half alexa what time is it so it's 12 31 i started a little bit before 12 and i had already done two pieces usually i can do my hair in about 40 minutes so i don't know about it being in half also i'm getting used to using this device so i think after a while if i were to continue using it then yeah i would see that i could probably get the hang of it to cut that down even faster i want to leave it do's and don'ts when it comes to the curly hair if you do have curly hair and you decide to use this do make sure that your hair is half dry so when i got to the top part it was a lot easier for me to blow dry that part than it was for the bottom part do make sure you start off with cool air first i feel like starting off with the cool air allowed me to not dry out my hair very very fast i did one little piece with it starting off with the hot i immediately felt the difference in my hair do blow dry your hair forward if you want more volumes once it dries and your hair follicles start to fold in this way when you're done with your blow dryer and you push it back you're gonna get this lifted effect so that's what's gonna give you this beautiful like 1950s moments that's happening to me right now also i'm not centered in the camera and that's going to bother me so here we go do use product make sure you use a blowout cream i think that's going to help moisture in your hair and that way you won't dry it out do have a brush nearby make sure that you're able to brush your hair out right before you blow dry it also do i think with curly hair use smaller sections i know that that the brush is very big and that way you're able to get a lot more hair but i think if i had used smaller sections maybe i wouldn't have the issues issues of you know um all this curly root area don't go with sweat soaking hair don't blast start off with crazy amount of heat first of all you kind of want to treat it i think just like you do with your blow dryer whenever i have my blow dryer i don't go in with just like max heat i start off with something cool to just get the hair kind of prepped and then i move into something i go in with a higher heat so it's essentially like the same thing yeah i would give this probably a solid eight out of ten just because it's my first time like a nine like a nine i'll give it a nine out of ten it's light it's two in one and it worked way better on my hair than i thought it was gonna work alright guys if you like this video be sure to give me a thumbs up leave some comments down below i'm gonna leave all the products that i use in the description in case you guys wanna check them out uh be sure to give this a thumbs up if you liked it like the comments i think already said that until next time guys see ya honey i'm not mad i'm not mad
