Review of Bvlgari B.Zero1 Rings & Cartier Love Rings | Preloved experience from Fashionphile

hello lovelies welcome back to my channel for those of you who are new welcome my name is lily um and today we're actually going to be doing sort of my impression of the um bulgari b0 rings and the cartier love rings um i actually purchased these all from fashion file and i'll tell you a little bit about why later um and essentially i just wanted to share a little bit about my thoughts on these how i'm liking them i've been wearing them for about a month now a little bit on and off and they're definitely really gorgeous rings um but just kind of want to share a little bit with you in case you were thinking about these i'm sure there are so many other videos out there um but before i purchase these rings i actually watched a few youtube videos and i didn't find any that mentioned this now i don't know if it's just because of me but um or my skin but essentially i wanted to share this with you all um and you know just have that as a little consideration uh before getting specific types of rings um or stacking them a certain way so without further ado let's go ahead and get started okay so first off i want to preface this by saying um you know i don't tend to wear a lot of jewelry um or am super picky about jewelry it's kind of interesting because just recently i've really been loving uh wearing certain jewelry yellow gold jewelry a little bit of white gold not as much though but um it's just you know these weird faces that come in and out um i have previously been wearing a ring that i purchased at my first job and i was wearing it religiously for 10 years and decided you know what it's probably time for a change um so anyways just wanted to let you guys know that and these are actually my first really luxury uh i guess rings in a manner from fashion houses um so i'm really excited to share this with you so for the first rings i want to talk about it's from the cartier line so it's the cartier love rings and as we all know these are really popular rings um and they have been popular for a long time they're very classic they're very beautiful they're very comfortable to wear um and so let me just show the ones i got so i got one that is in the yellow gold um so it's really really pretty uh it's just you know like that and then i got the other one that's in the uh white gold so both of these are in 18 karat gold if you're not already aware of that um but they're just really really beautiful simple pieces and of course they have the screwdriver kind of um symbol there so really beautiful and you know i really apologize for the way my nails are looking right now i do have a appointment next week but um they do need to be cleaned up and cut short here so apologies just ignore them for now um so i guess what i want to say first is that i got them both and i got these both in the 5mm size so these are certainly the thicker version of the love rings they also come in the love wedding band which is like 3.5 in them i believe and um so the price difference is actually quite significant the five millimeter ones which i have right now it's actually interesting because the white gold and the yellow gold pricing are different but i know right now it's very popular to get yellow gold pieces but the white gold is just as beautiful so if you were to purchase these from the cartier website or the cartier boutique the yellow gold one is actually a little less expensive than the white gold the yellow gold one is 1820 usd us dollars and the white gold one is and fifty 1950. so we're looking at um 130 difference which is actually quite significant right so this is if you get it from the boutique um and i can't exactly say to the wear and tear of these as of yet because like i said i've only been wearing them for about a month in fact actually probably even less than a month um i've been wearing them continuously on a day-to-day basis and i do not baby them i'm very hands-on with everything i have a dog she's about 85 pounds so imagine walking that dog every single day for five miles every day it's a lot of work um and then also i do a lot of cleaning around the house and i also um you know i don't really cook i guess but um i clean a lot and i'm just basically pretty rough with my hands uh so i'm definitely not babying them and when i look at these rings they look pretty good so far but then again i haven't had them for a very long time i know a lot of people do say that because um you know probably because they're 18 karat gold and there's sort of like a bigger surface they do get scratched rather easily um but i think they're okay so far so what i do want to mention is that both of these rings i did get them in two different sizes you could probably notice that the so not the silver the white gold one is a little bigger than the yellow gold because i had intended originally to wear the white gold one on my middle finger and the yellow gold one on my ring finger now these rings um having never been into the boutique to try these rings i just kind of bought it on a whim just well not on a whim i shouldn't say that i just bought this like based on reviews i've read and you know hoping for the best you know fingers crossed so i will say these run a little tight and it seems to align with what others are saying uh in general that you know you probably want to go up at least 0.25 or 0.5 of a size so normally my middle finger is a 6.5 so this is a 6.5 and my ring finger is a 5.5 um this is a 5.75 it fits and it's actually a little tight this one is a 6.5 and it fits as well my middle finger but it's actually quite tight so i think to be comfortable for my normal size which is a 6.5 for my middle finger i probably would want to go with a 6.75 or a 7.0 and it's really nice with cartier because they do go by 0.25 increments in terms of sizing so what i ended up doing is that and you know and of course it varies right if your hands are really cold you know they're going to be slimmer so when it's cold this fits a little better when it's hot i don't feel very comfortable wearing this so what i end up doing is that i actually stack this ring uh with the yellow gold one and i think it looks really pretty so this kind of acts as a stopper for it so what i do is i actually do this and so let me just put it on here for you i'm sorry i didn't even show you this earlier but yeah this is what the white gold one looks like and obviously it's a little too big for my ring finger um but it works perfectly when you stack and i think it's really pretty you know um it's very simplistic it's very minimal um and i think when you stack it it gives us sort of like a nice two-tone color nice dimension and i think it's so so pretty and this works very well so very very beautiful and so also notice that the surface area is quite large here so of course it's probably going to get scratched fairly easy if um you're going to be more hands-on with things right and that's me but you know i honestly i think that if you're going to buy a piece of jewelry you're going to wear it a lot i mean you want to make sure that you get your you know roi so um i'm really happy with how this looks and how this fits i like this i think ideally if i were to know the sizing prior beforehand i would probably get the silver in the uh again seven if i want to go with the middle finger or a 5.75 for the ring finger so yeah definitely make sure you size up a little bit um if you do plan on getting this i think the best way of course is to go into the boutique but then again like i mentioned i didn't get these two at a boutique so let me tell you how much i got this for at fashion files so fashion files where i get a lot of my bags i've actually never purchased jewelry from them before for the yellow gold one remember at the boutique if you were to get this brand new it's 1820 and i got this on fashion file for uh 1 295 so that's quite a bit of difference that's more than difference and this was in excellent condition uh per the listing so when i received it it was definitely in that manner the white gold one which is a little bit priced a little bit more at the boutique it's um priced at 19.50 remember i got this on fashion file for 950. and of course we're talking this all pre-tax right so i find it very interesting that when you go online and you look on the cartoon website the 18 karat white gold whether it's the rings or if it's the uh diamantes ledger's necklaces or anything the 18 karat white gold is always a little bit more expensive than the yellow gold but when you look on the after market so for example like fashion file the pre-loved market right the yellow gold is always more expensive than the white gold so you see that kind of interesting um flip in the in the pricing uh but yeah so if we think about it the white gold one i got uh is exactly a thousand dollars cheaper on fashion file and the yellow gold one i got just looking at this really quickly with my math here um is about uh 600 no 500 and about 510 dollars cheaper so um i think i got the math wrong but anyways you get the point right it's a lot it's a lot cheaper and so for that condition and for the fact that when i read the reviews people were saying oh you know it was getting scratched you know i don't recommend some folks were like i don't recommend getting it others were like oh i love it so it really depends on your day-to-day lifestyle right but i didn't feel very comfortable spending if i were to get both of these at a boutique i would be spending about 3 700 um and so i saved a lot of money getting this on fashion file and honestly just to wear them i really don't mind you're not gifting them you're just wearing them yourselves but then of course i understand it's all about the experience right if you really want to have the boutique experience go in there and measure it and you know and the thing is if you do buy it from the boutique you can actually get a free engraving on here as well so certainly um you know i didn't have that option getting it off the pre-looped market um so there's definitely cons and pros but just really depends on what you're looking for so um i'm really happy with my purchase from fashion file um and i think it just looks really pretty uh so really really happy about this okay so moving on to the next fashion house brand we're gonna be talking about bulgari and i think i'm pronouncing it incorrectly i think you're supposed to roll the r like bulgari let's just you know accept that my uh my pronunciation isn't accurate and i'm just going to call it bulgari so i do apologize beforehand um but i just want to say that i i don't know why i never really looked into bulgari and when i started watching a little bit more youtube videos uh on you know all these different brands for bags and i saw bulgaria's like oh my gosh this is a brand that produces such amazing quality um you know items and i looked first at their sir pente line of bags and it's just beautiful um for those of you who may or may not be aware uh in chinese culture we have 12 zodiacs one of them is a snake and i'm actually a snake in chinese zodiac so i feel like bulgari speaks to me a little bit more um but anyways they have beautiful beautiful bags i unfortunately don't have a bulgari bag at this moment um i don't plan to invest in one anytime soon because i'm not really going anywhere and my most of my other bags are sitting in the closet right now so i'm just gonna save up and see um you know maybe in the you're not near in the future future but anyways today we're here to talk about bulgari in terms of their jewelry so it's really interesting i find personally is that we all know cartier the brand right everyone knows it everyone loves it's beautiful it's classic it's luxurious but bulgari is i think on the same level if not even higher uh for some of its fine jewelry pieces they are just so beautiful uh crafted so well um but you know it's not really receiving as much recognition i would say um as cartier maybe they're not doing i don't know maybe it's the marketing difference but i just feel like you don't really see too many things about bulgaria and when i was researching online to say hey do i want to invest in the bulgaria rings i realize you know um there's really isn't too much to see so i just went ahead and got it and the two that i got were the bulgari uh b01 rings and you know i love them i think they are just gorgeous so this one is in rose gold and this one is in uh 18 karat um white gold so i will say that the bulgari rings at least the b01s in comparison to the cartier rings they are a lot um they're not a lot they're a little bit looser so i can say with bulgaria rings you can go true to your size in fact it still fits a little loose at true to the size for me personally um so i will say that they do fit looser and i can say maybe it's because of the way it's structured if you're looking at this um b0 ring it's like notice that it's a little it's like a little flexible kind of like a springy a little bit um and so i think that probably contributes to it a little bit uh but yeah i think these are just so so beautiful so this one is the four band um and then on here it just says not sure if you can see but it says bulgari um all around both sides of this ring and then this one is the three band um rose gold and it says bulgari as well on both sides so um for these rings i actually again i got these from fashion file because they're actually really really expensive i will say that the um uh the pre-love market value of bulgaria rings are a little less than cartier so i don't know why they don't hold their value as much i think it's maybe because the brand um obviously like i mentioned earlier uh isn't as i guess in a way like mentioned uh a lot by by folks around you know and i just think that it should be given a lot more credit because it does produce beautiful beautiful fine jewelry and i find them i find their bags beautiful as well so anyways getting to the price point of this this rose gold one if you were to buy it directly from bulgari website or from their boutique this rose gold one for the three band is 2 650 so significantly more than the cartier love ring um and for the four band white gold one uh this one retails for two thousand eight hundred dollars uh so we're seeing like definitely difference in price here between the bulgarian the cartier so i got the the three band uh white gold from fashion file and i got it for 1 195 so incredibly uh a lot a lot cheaper right then the boutique retail value retail store i'm sorry and this one i got for 1050 from fashion file so we're seeing like a really big price difference if you get it in the pre-loved market and all four of these rings that i got they were all in excellent condition and i could certainly attest to that um so i really really love this so just to show you how it looks like on my finger this is what um the rose gold one looks like i don't know if you can tell but this one is definitely a little bit more rose gold than the carte yellow gold here i think the 18 karat rose gold looks really pretty i think when you go little carrot if you go down in carrot it becomes like this really pinkish gold which i don't really like as much but i think the 18 carat rose golds they all look really nice so yeah this is what the um bulgari zero b ring looks like and then i'm just gonna show you what it looks like although i'm not i would probably not wear it like this um but this is this i got in size 5.5 and it's very true to size in fact there's still a little bit more wiggle room so i would say if you go true to size um for the bulgari b0 ring you'll be safe this one i got in size 6.5 which is my normal size um and again it is it actually fits true to size carte does fit a little uh tighter so this is what it looks like and let me just take this one off so you can see just this one i probably would just wear it like this typically i think it's really really pretty and then again let me just show you the rose gold one one more time it's beautiful yeah so i i really really love bulgaria i think that it isn't given enough like credit or love um you know uh in the field and i just think they're just so beautiful so yeah okay so now that we've gone over uh both of these brands i want to mention something that i didn't see in any of the videos i've um reviewed and i'm thinking hey maybe it's just me especially right now you know we're always like being very aware of our surroundings being very clean being very thorough we have to wash our hands a lot right and so thank goodness these are um 18 karat solid gold otherwise you know they're gonna tarnish but that's not the point the point i'm trying to make here is that you know these are really thick rings right and so when i wear these rings um and i washed my hands i've actually never noticed this with other wings i've worn before because they were either thinner or i know i never like stacked it like this or wore wings that were like this thick the problem is i've noticed that when you stack rings like this um or like when i wear this one in particular because it's so thick after you dry your hands and you know you wash your hands you dry your hands and everything dries but this part doesn't dry so then if you just keep it like that it ends up being like you got this moisture all stuck in here all the time and what i end up having to do is i have to take it off i have to dry this part and then i have to dry this part and then i kind of have to do the same with these because they're also like really thick right so i think obviously the thicker your ring is the less like opening air space there is it's gonna obviously take a much longer time to dry if not impossible if it's all covered up like this so i know that a lot of um folks wear rings like this so if you do i mean please tell me if you have any of these issues also where like like if it doesn't dry and i take it off like an hour later i have this like white water mark here like you know when you stay in a hot tub for too long and then your skin gets all wrinkly and stuff that's what it looks like when i have these stacked like this without any breathing room or when i wear this uh specific ring i have that issue and it's just annoys the heck out of me because i feel like i have to take extra care to take off my rings and then dry my hands and then put them back on just to like wash them maybe like half an hour later um so yeah i mean probably the only solution for me is i just have to wear these one at a time i can't wear them stacked like this or you know for this one i guess there's really no option because it is thick and of itself but um yeah i don't know it just it has just been really bothering me and i don't know if any of you ladies or gentlemens out there have these issues um but let me know yeah definitely so anyways um i'm gonna stop my rambling i don't know how i spoke about these four wings for 22 minutes so far so probably gonna go back and cut off some stuff but yeah thank you they're obviously never gonna tarnish you can always pass it down to your daughter or your daughter-in-law or you know really any family member right um i just think they're so beautiful and you know if you don't want to pay full price like i didn't want to pay full price otherwise i would have been hurting a lot if i paid full price for all these four rings um i went the other route and i got all of them on the pre-left market at fashion file just make sure you know you go to a reputable and trusted um source to get these uh things if you are considering pre-loved i think fashion file is a really great um place to go to and i'm very happy with um how these turned out so so i wanted to do a quick interjection here because i was reviewing the video and i realized i never uh spoke to the comfort level of both of those rings so for both the cartier love rings as well as the uh bulgari b0 rings are really really comfortable to wear i would say that they're actually perfect for everyday wear the only qualm i had with it personally again was the water um getting stuck in it issue but besides that definitely really comfortable doesn't snag anywhere on your clothing and just even if you were on your ring finger or your middle finger you know where there's other fingers around it more closely it's actually really comfortable so um i would say that there's no issues in terms of comfort
