what is happening y'all welcome new games so a big thanks to the folks over at sony for code to the game super excited to check this out we have had our eye on this for a while uh not only is this one of the first new games like an actual new ps5 game but as far as i know this may be the first aaa roguelike internal notifications news update sure audio output uh headphones i can't choose what i want whatever subtitles english make them a little bit bigger start in online mode oh sdr black point settings not visible little bit brighter i can't see the not visible at all i can faintly see it if i'm like moving around each new cycle prevents new challenges rewards and changes to the world adapt and persevere to progress further when you die or close return you'll always be returned to the crash site and all non-permanent progression is lost you can suspend your cycle by using the console's rest mode functionality huh everyone was talking about the haptics and they aren't kidding the haptics are really good like the controller just has like a very oh yeah this is good this is they did they did a good job with the controls [Music] bro i'm excited too this is i mean besides demon discovered a potential resource positive analysis for suit repairs classifying as silphium first enemies encounter scavenger fauna fauna dispatched changing what was that recorded log found adding to data bank playing back now scout log elapsed time 30 minutes since last crash whole areas of this forest are rearranging themselves like a fluid puzzle after each whenever i return per astra protocol overload uh weapons on atrophos do not require ammunition but they can overheat after overheating your weapon slowly recharges but you can speed it up with overload if you pull the trigger when the indicator is inside the mark zone your weapon overloads and becomes instantly fully reloaded some items give you additional buffs dashing is useful multiple ways cross long distances you're immune to damage from hazards in most attacks while dashing dope overlord i wonder if i can plug in a mouse and keyboard i just feel like i'm such a sloppy shot i hope it doesn't bite me in my ass later uh opens secure gates and containers but is infected with malignancy malignant items have a chance of causing malfunctions my functions have negative effects or could even inhibit certain actions suit malfunction what is the malfunction remove malfunction by completing the task on the left side of the screen collect artifacts lose oba lights when suffering damage and i gotta collect artifacts to fix that suit can malfunction consumes or even enemy projectiles all these have a chance to create triggering negative effects that only be promoted by creating a task the third would trigger is critical malfunction which will destroy a random carried item oh no sounds like [ __ ] is this an artifact golden ring at e3 we will see i'm not gonna hold my breath is this a boss oh this this sure the environment wasn't like this before oh it wants me to hit this adrenaline level is raised for every three hostiles you eliminate to a maximum of five upon taking damage it's reset each level provides unique effect that stacks with their levels so basically as i kill and not get hit my levels increase all right well there's stuff in there but i guess i can't get to it i need a key so looks like there's something below me damn it it's more water that i can't touch new technology discovered augments my weapon with an alternative firing mechanism oh highly effective this will be useful gonna need to work mine's eye in because otherwise you're gonna bounce off anything that's not a weak point so when you consider that i think you're better off um i think you're likely better off probably balance the game a lot as so the way it is right now like you need to kill enemies to build up your uh [ __ ] yeah cool let's try it you need to murder uh enemies to get a chance to do um almost losing my thought process here uh your adrenaline you need to keep killing guys to get your adrenaline built up and um i mean as far as i know i think let me check the tutorials but i think if you start getting hit you just lose that adrenaline yeah raised every three hostiles you'll meet up to a maximum of five taking any damage it's reset like there's no way if you get hit once in a boss fight there's no way to keep that adrenaline up so i think something like besides the three enemies um something where it's like you know uh every uh let's do that something where it's you know you get a critical malfunction um like if you hit 15 hits on a target in a row without getting hit your adrenaline level can build up you know basically something that lets you uh get your artifact adrenaline stimulants destroyed [Music] um you know because right now there's just there's no way to get your if you get your adrenaline up and you go into the boss fight and you have it that's great but once you uh oh my god reduced i need to collect an artifact of a container once you uh get bopped like you get hit by once by the boss and lose your adrenaline you're screwed and it's a huge huge boon to have that adrenaline so snub nose barrel um now i'm gonna stick with what i got checkpoints i don't know about checkpoints i mean checkpoints i think are um i think those kind of counter the gameplay that you want in a roguelike i just think adrenaline a way to build adrenaline on bosses would be useful and this is a personal preference i would like to see a little bit more weapon variety because so far it seems like it's just the pistol the pistol the rifle the shotgun which i mean all the weapons in this are cool but just the way i am i know i'm gonna want more variety i guess technically it's it's pistol crystal shotgun rifle and melee also when you kill these flying enemies i don't think ooblets should like all those zubits they're gone you know i don't have ooblets anymore because that dude died and just dropped all of his [ __ ] you know i think uh but there should be a little bit of of uh the the regular vacuum i think could be improved slightly because right now you like really need to run on top of those little buggers uh to get them and it's pretty easy to you know get booped because they were falling or whatever hmm um no i'm not interested in reflex really hard but yeah i had like i basically had almost no health and the doggo rushed and instead of fighting back which is what i should have done i was just like ah who would have thought shouting at the dinosaur or shouting at the dog is not the way to beat it
