Rescuing BABY Raccoon From Drowning In Creek!! (life saved)| Jiggin' With Jordan

what is going on guys it's Brandon J and I have a really crazy story that I want to share with you guys today here on YouTube yesterday my friend Emilio and I came out here to do a spearfishing video and this is a really unique spot because right behind me over here there's a giant dam there's a whole lake right above it and at any point the alarm can go off the dam can open up and water will rush through this area so it's a pretty dangerous spot to be at however there is an alarm so if the alarm goes off you have time to get out of the way and then make your way safely downriver so we actually just finished up the video and we were making our way back and then all of a sudden I caught something in the corner of my eye I looked over and it was what I thought was a baby otter or like a little river rat at the time and till I noticed it was really struggling it wasn't moving like an aquatic creature would and as soon as I found out what it was I immediately rushed Emilio over with a camera and what you guys are about to see is Emilio and I running across a baby raccoon I mean he's literally this big a little baby raccoon that was drowning in a little creek out here I'm gonna go ahead and let the footage from yesterday roll and play out the whole story but this is such a crazy adventure if you guys like rescue videos like this make sure to drop a big thumbs up I honestly can't use the back end where the handle is I'm just scared to grab them because bro they have rabies man like I know bears are known to have rabies grab one little guy grab one use the back to scoop his butt he's gotta crawl up okay he's grabbing he's grabbing come on come on come on little buddy oh come on okay wound remand oh my goodness it's a baby raccoon oh my goodness it's a baby hey bud you okay oh my goodness who knows how long he's been stuck in there we gotta help him we gotta take him to like a wall nice place just a baby oh my goodness I thought it was like a little rat or something was in the water just like a river rat oh goodness should we wrap him up in this yeah we just got to careful don't tell me man we can think we can think oh well I'm just saying like even with him like there no one to have rabies like you gotta be careful with him he's helpless man it's probably terrified oh my goodness hi buddy we're gonna get you back safe we're gonna get you somewhere safe do you have anywhere where we can put him we have the Yeti bag where else we have do you have anything else okay now we gotcha until he's drying off a little bit now we still gotta be super careful with him because these things are known to carry rabies obviously I don't know if like a little guy like this will carry rabies or not but he's a full-fledged raccoon he's um got the little cute raccoon eyes got his little paws I've got him wrapped up in a shirt right now just to kind of protect me a little bit on the shirts not dry I think if it was dry to be optimal because he's wet but at least it's hot outside so he'll dry out pretty quick he's already drying off quite a bit goodness gracious man look at him oh my goodness look at his little toes Hey you're gonna be okay now you're gonna be okay this is like the cutest saddest happiest thing that's ever happened to me right now goodness gracious where's your mom at boards are over here Mele the boards are over here you think I don't think he'll move he's kind of chillin right there all right so we're gonna keep them in this cubby right here I'm gonna be sitting right there so be a little sketch having between my legs but we got to make our way all the way down about a mile and a half paddle so uh we'll raccoon buddy stay there you're gonna be all right we're gonna get you help huh all right we are finally pulling up here all right guys so Ricky made it can you see him right here it's just uh he's just a little chilly right now he's passed out so we still got to get all this stuff loaded up Ricky we gotta wake up a little minute okay oh my goodness your whole body oh my God look at his little tail look at him alright let's wrap him back up come here bud he just passed out he's sleeping so good I know oh we gotta get you okay there we go that's our little Ricky look at his little tail down here man just so cute so right now I'm gonna get them a dry shirt since we're in the truck we have all our gear so we're gonna go ahead and put them in here Emilio actually has to go to work and I've got to do some research to figure out where we're going to take this guy but we got him - okay all right okay he's calling around pretty good okay let's get you in the truck little guy we've got Ricky more comfortable now and you got to see him now it sucks it's just it's like a funny level of cuteness now so we got them in a dry shirt but we also have him in this like little sombrero hat right here just a little nugget right there in the middle then they're just so cute so we got like the perfect little baby raccoon holder right here shoutout to the goon squad for the hat all right Millie you're gonna have to hold our little sombrero friend and we're gonna make our way all right guys so I've got a little Ricky right here and currently at my house I'm sitting in like my office studio editing room and he's just chilling he's he's been burned he might pop his little head up here but basically right now I've got a bunch of suggestions for places I should call places I should contact okay that would be perfect are they around the Columbus Georgia area [Music] - please leave a message it's pretty much the last thing I know to do wildlife conservation Georgia Wildlife Conservation I'm gonna call them hey how's it going my name is Brandon and I actually found a baby raccoon I was drowning in the river so me and my buddy got it dried it off and now we have it but we're trying to we've contacted a couple like pet shelters and they've like taking us to people who are licensed but nobody's answering the phone so I figured I'd call you guys and see what we can get done believe Muscogee County I'm in Columbus Georgia is there any way you can just have like a wildlife officer come out so they can't come get it unless it's a rabid vicious creature right and none of those people can come out here okay all right thank you for your time you're welcome Wow so Georgia wildlife like the actual Georgia wildlife and conservation can't do anything for me if Ricky was a vicious animal I guess they could but since he's a cute little baby they aren't gonna come out which is a little confusing I don't know that's a little strange so now I'm gonna I'm just keep making phone calls I'm getting like a little frustrated that uh even Georgia wildlife I figured out of everybody like Georgia wildlife would take care of it cuz that's what they're there for stuff like this but not gonna happen so we're gonna make some more phone calls Ricky we're gonna get you home we're gonna get you a home it's not here they will be okay basically they said if Animal Control picks them up then they're gonna euthanize them which basically is not good all right I will be bringing little Ricky the raccoon over to you guys yes thank you so much oh we got you a spot I honestly cannot believe how many people I had to call just to be able to get this guy he is like wrapped up like a little burrito in there he's so so happy but alright we're gonna take this guy we got to go because they're already closed so they are us being super nice and staying open so we're gonna get Ricky oh my goodness look at you sneak your little head out oh my goodness we're almost there we're almost there buddy so he's drinking out would you still be eating on milk I got six weeks we're gonna say bye to Ricky the raccoon he's gonna go on and live his best life he's gonna get rehabilitated we're a place where he can hunt and be out in the wild again by our guys well that is gonna pretty much wrap it up for today's video I really hope you guys enjoyed honestly obviously was not expecting to make a video like this we just happened to cross Ricky's path at the perfect time where we were able to get him out of the creek get him taken care of and I dunno Ricky's gonna be going to a safe home where he's gonna be rehabilitated to be able to go back into the wild so unfortunately there were so many people that wanted to euthanize him which was basically just get rid of him so so as you guys saw I had to call so many people just to get to the right person which is why I thought of the t-shirt design to basically help fund more of these
