[Music] [Music] thank you hey there my name is Kayla roach welcome to my channel this is my 2022 reptile room tour before we begin I have a few things to mention so bear with me I want to preface by saying that I am not promoting the idea of keeping many many animals I don't want that to be a norm I have had to create a lifestyle in order to be able to keep all these animals I work from home and I rarely leave the house and that is so that I can provide for these animals the truth is it is a lot of work so if you want a lot of animals that's okay but just make sure that you have the time the money and the space to do so properly and ethically the room you're about to see isn't even where I'm living right now that's because I recently moved I was literally about to start packing to leave and I was like I've never actually filmed this room I'm about to just ditch this place and leave and not show anyone what I've been working with at that house so I did a last minute reptile room tour that's what you're about to see there are also a few animals that I do have that you don't see in this video because they were in a separate room being quarantined but you get the idea I'm gonna stop talking now enjoy the video let's get on with it [Music] thank you [Music] so here's the room at a quick glance on the right here I have a 12 foot tall artificial palm tree definitely adds character to the room this beautiful Chandelier and a speaker so I'm going to start on the left side here with this beautiful paludarium which houses my male boeger melanoda named Reaper these are also called Mangrove snakes or cat-eyed snakes they have a few common names now he's usually very bold and he'll spend a lot of his day basking on the branches here but he's currently in shed so he's hiding in his little cork hide over here you can tell by the appearance of the scales that he is in blue right now next to that we have my Trio of baby emerald tree skinks are you ready for this these are the most friendly and curious little reptiles ever so this is their grow out enclosure now I could dedicate an entire video to these little guys they are just incredible like look at them hi next to them I have this little tiny enclosure which hoses a baby snow garter snake what's unique about this little baby is that it was born with a spinal deformity so he kind of has a little kink in his spine he still moves around perfectly fine he's eating like a champ and it doesn't affect him doesn't look at those big googly eyes next to that we have this stack of enclosures here at the very top we have my blue eyed blue cystic ball python Elsa below Elsa we have my California king snake Tux in all honesty I am not a fan of this enclosure because it doesn't really replicate his natural environment I kind of just threw a bunch of artificial plants together so that he had lots of enrichment but there's no theme so this will definitely be one of my next enclosure makeover below tux we have two female leopard geckos this girl right here is Lilo and next to her is Luna she'll be going into shed soon as well you can tell that her spots are very faded in comparison to Luna over here below these two girls we have two other leopard geckos lo and behold this here is Cora and Suki is in there next to this set of enclosures we have this little shelving unit here that mainly holds my invertebrates at the top here we have my juvenile eight poker peas or more commonly known as the golden blue leg baboon these tarantulas web beautifully you can just tell how nice this enclosure looks because of it beneath that enclosure is my Grandma stole a polkra or my Brazilian black tarantula underneath that enclosure is my Toledo Kato albopalosis which is the Honduran curly hair tarantula I believe she's in her burrow so she's going to be very boring we can't even see her moving on here we have the M belfouri or the sakotra blue-legged baboon below this one I know it's dusty sue me we have my chromatopelma syneopubescence or the well-known green bottle blue tarantula to the right of this enclosure is my carabina Versa color sling these are beautiful blue and they change as they mature into more of this black with these purple and blue hues it's so cool to the left of these enclosures we have my kilo brackies species electric blue sling oh this one is very flighty so let's see if I can open the lid without it you know it already ran away on the next shelf we have a series of slings here my lazyadora periabana my Toledo cattle Alba pelosis which you can see creeping in the corner there and below that we have my brachypelma bomai to the left of these enclosures we have my jumping spider enclosure this is a male fidipus Regis who's probably in his little web hammock up there so we are not going to see him now in these two little enclosures I actually have baby geckos the first one here is uh eurodactyloidy's yardi or chameleon gecko super duper cute this is such an underrated species of gecko below that we have a baby crested gecko there you are this is groot's first Offspring if you don't know Groot he's my crazy crested gecko and I'm just hoping that this baby does not inherit those assassin jeans behind these two enclosures my Asian forest scorpion on the next shelf I have some grow out bins for some baby crusty geckos in here we have Arlo my red phantom Lily white and next to him is another baby Krusty beneath these two we have my brachi Palma Smithy next to her is my grandma stola poor Terry or my Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula then at the very bottom we have my African fat tail gecko you can see him kind of sticking out there now on to the next shelving unit at the top here we have pixel my male thamnophis certalis consonus also known as the Oregon red sided garter snake he's currently in shed which is so upsetting because his colors are incredible he has this beautiful orangish red head with matching bars that go down the side of his body and this bluish stripe on his back he's just absolutely beautiful but as you can tell by his eyes he is currently in shed and then on the right here we have the fan favorites my two baby damn office sir Talus tetrotamia also known as a San Francisco garter snake now they just recently ate so they still have their little food dish in there below the Garter snakes we have my male Tangerine Honduran milk snake his name is Bandit and he loves spending most of his time underneath his water dish so I don't want to bug him too much he just shed though so his colors are absolutely stunning right now sorry to the left we have my ligodactylus Williams eye also known as the electric blue day Echo below these enclosures we have some new Caledonian geckos here we have a crested gecko and I'm so thrilled that he's fired up right now because he's crazy he's also crazy for food which is what he thinks is happening right now but let's take a look he has a lot going on with his pattern he's got portholes he's a super stripe he's got an empty back towards his tail and there's just a lot going on with him next to him we have a pair of crested geckos and here we have Taz and Namine let's see if we can find them both I see Taz over there hey buddy I also found namin who's way down there in the bottom corner next to those two we have my chihua gecko named lip now the reason why she's named lip is because she was born with an underbite so she kind of has a goofy looking face and then at the very bottom we have my tub enclosure for pugsy my Plains hog no snake and then my African house snake at the bottom there obviously the plan is to get them into some nice big enclosures this is just what it's going to do for now next to that shelving system we have the one and only Groot this is my crazy crested gecko and he's actually in here with his girlfriend named Bambi he's actually a gentleman to her he just hates humans so that's great Above This enclosure we have my P Cambridge also known as the Trinidad Chevron tarantula I plan on moving this one into a glass enclosure once I move it'll look a lot better next we have these three enclosures that are stacked onto one another we'll start at the top here with my Accu monitor named Bindi I named her after Steve Irwin's daughter and she's uh excited because she thinks there's food she's also in shed right now look at her silly little shed hat I'm quite pleased with her enclosure we have her little REITs stack here made with flagstone uh cork branch and cork tube for her to climb on and hide behind hey girl then we have some more branches for her to climb some artificial grass her water bowl and her humid hide here which she should really utilize right now because she's in shed so stop doing parkour and go get that shed hat off of your head do you understand underneath bindi's enclosure we have Nemo my albino corn snake he's hiding in the back corner there I'm pretty happy with how this enclosure turned out I wanted to give it kind of a forest floor look below Nemo we have my ball python onyx and look at that he's climbing ball pythons climb it's not crazy but yeah this enclosure measures four foot by three foot by two feet deep and he uses every square inch of it and he has multiple hides he even has a sky hide at the top there that he can climb into he's got cork tubes he's got plenty of places to bask and the cool thing is that he has this little burrow and it goes into here which I can access from the outside and this is his humid hide and last but not least we have this very random enclosure that's kind of just chilling on the floor this houses two female garter snakes let's see if we can summon them no fists marcianis also known as the checkered garter snake and I'm sure you can tell where they get that name from by the pattern on her back so that concludes my room tour I hope you enjoyed it because it is the last you'll be seeing of this exact room as soon as I finish recording I'm gonna go start taking some enclosures apart and packing up some reptiles to go now before I conclude this video I only think it's fair to come see these guys because they're awesome you ready [Music] grab one on the top of my head oh and on my phone that concludes this room tour thank you so much for watching even though I don't live there anymore I'm glad you were able to see what I was working with for a good portion of 2022 and I look forward to showing you what my new room was gonna look like here at this new place which you are guaranteed to see in 2023. thank you all for
