in this video we're going to learn multiple ways to remove unwanted objects in filmora 11. keep watching [Music] hey it's caleb from wondershare flamora here to empower your inner video creator have you tried filmora 11 yet it's packed with brand new features and effects plugins that make editing more fun you can check out filmora 11 at the official filmora website filmora.wondershare.com or at the link in the description when filming videos we have to deal with unwanted things in the frame sometimes it's a mic or a light or even something moving like a fan most people create content from places they have easy access to like their bedroom or even smaller spaces fitting gear like lights and microphones in the room without it being in the shot can be pretty challenging for that reason we can place items as close as we want and then just remove them with a little bit of editing magic with filmora 11. we're also gonna look at how we could remove a moving item from our frame using keyframing let's go to make sure the effect works we'll need to film two shots one shot with the gear in frame and one without we need to make sure the camera doesn't move while filming as well so we used a tripod before you record make sure your talent doesn't overlap with the gear making sure to leave a small gap between your talent and the gear when you can make sure the background has nothing moving in it and the framing's right hit record and now let's bring the clips into filmora 11. drag and drop the video with the subject and the objects we plan on removing onto the first video track and the background video without the objects onto the video track above drag the side of the clip to line up the beginning of both videos now we can delete the unwanted objects go to effects then utility find shape mask then drag and drop it onto the background video on the upper track double click the clip then click effect then adjust the mask position and scale level to block the object to soften the hard edge that the mask creates increase the blur strength slider level and that's it the gear is gone what if the item in your frame wasn't stationary but something moving around like this floating cube drag and drop the shot without the cube on the timeline and your shot with the cube below it on the timeline double-click the top clip and then click mask at the top of the screen now click circle this gives us a nice mask that we can move around to hide what we need line up the mask so it covers the wire since it's moving we might need to use keyframes allowing us to move our mask when the cube moves put your playhead at the start of the clip and click add to add a keyframe then move your playhead forward until you see the wire appear again adjust your mask by dragging it over the wire and then move the playhead forward again repeat that step until your wire is fully masked out of the video increase the blur slider value if you have to then watch the clip back to check that the wire is removed from your frame if the circle doesn't work for you try one of the many other shapes now you know how to remove a moving object from your frame in filmora 11. what's the smallest place you've filmed a video let us know in the comments i filmed in a closet have you filmed in a closet have you filmed in a closet have you filmed in the closet there's no one else in here thanks for watching don't forget to like and subscribe for new videos on the channel keep creating and i'll see you next time you
