today I'm going to show you how to edit an easy Sky replacement using from R11 keep watching [Music] hi everyone it's Chloe from monasher for more here to empower your inner Video Creator do you know the sky in your shots could be cooler just like this Sky replacement is a super powerful tool that allows you to enhance the visuals and even create a magical world today I'm going to show you how to use film stock packs to create the super popular Sky replacement effect in firmware 11. if you haven't already downloaded from R11 get started by going to from where I don't want to try to come or click the link in the description let's go we are going to use footage for an effect to start I'm going to drag and drop the clip to the first video track now I'm going to find a moment I want the sky to change by dragging the playhead along the clip I think where the man takes a photo is a good moment I'll make a cut here then go to the top left elements window select the film stock folder and find Starry Sky background element 6 from The Starry Sky background pack drag and drop it onto the second video track make sure the starring Sky element starts at the cut made earlier on the first wheel track so that the transition is hidden then adjust the length of the clip to match the element now I'm going to adjust the sky element and make it blend into the video clip double click it to open the settings window find the mask section and select the single line we can see the mask is applied adjust the angle and position of the max to only show the top part of the frame then I'm going to change the blur strands to add more blur to the edge of the Mask the clip that I chose is a zoom shot so I need to keyframe the mask to make the sky element fit the clip better add the first keyframe at the beginning of the element move the playhead right to the end of this element then click on the add button again change the position of the Mask to fit the frame better femora will automatically animate everything between those keyframes now let's add one more transition to the sky element go to the top left transitions window and find dissolve under the basic section drag and drop the transition to the beginning of the sky element adjust the length if needed then let's add a transition at the cut to mimic a camera flash select the film stock folder and find light leaks transition 4 from the light leaks transition pack drag and drop it onto the cut adjust the length of the transition to matching action the effect is roughly done but we will do some color grading to the second video clip so it looks more natural double click the second clip on the first video track and go to the setting window on the top left find the color section let's open the white balance menu and adjust the tint and the temperature to match the color of the sky we can also adjust the contrast saturation and brightness to enhance the color okay let's play it back and see how it looks [Music] all right this is how to create a sky replacement effect using firmware 11. this is an easy effect that could take your outdoor footage to the next level do you want to see more cool effects that can be created using foam stock packs let us know in the comments thanks for watching and don't forget to like And subscribe for the new videos on the channel keep creating and see you next time foreign
