basically what we're doing we've got half of a group of clients here that are down 2 hours down the coast in Jaguar compy country camping with Dakota the other half of the group have been with me chasing Big Tuna big grouper all kinds of stuff around here in the lunch from the pongas today we're halfway through the week and we're going to switch so Dakota and those guys down there are going to come down here they're going to stay at the launch for the next 3 days fishing out the pongas running and gunning and me and my clients we're going to head down to Jaguar country and we're going to camp out down there and do some kayak fishing should be epic should be a good time it always is down here think these guys are excited the adventure half of our week starts [Music] now [Music] oh yeah hang on hang on W nice dude that was on that diver yeah I'm going some volley I'm get oh yeah casting at the Rocks here waiting to meet up with the other group so we can switch and go to Camp we've got a handful of Bonitas already and now we got something else I think never know never know but watch the bottom of the bat I couldn't even say it fast enough huh he popped the hook yeah he gets walk on rocks feel like it'd be easier to walk farther on Sand don't tripping break an ankle first 5 minutes let's watch over this rock let sit here for now you guys hungry we got barbecue chicken and boa Ceviche which is what you just caught Ethan I mean it's not the one you just caught obviously would be great oh yeah saich yeah sure that' be great all right Alo Jack V courtesy the last group they caught got in some alos and left us this as a little present to get us started and I think we got some barbecue chicken which we're going to eat until we start catching fish little ciche little big fish of the day so far oh yeah that's a trigger fish orange belly trigger fish look at that very sweet John here we just left him he's got another fish in the boat look at that John's been busy since we last left him all right John here with a yellow Snapper sweet you can just toss it in the boat if you want that'll be dinner and that it's called a rock Snapper nice work man look at that we left this guy for 5 minutes he's got two different species of Snapper when we got back everyone's catching fish right now yeah sling them on in there and a grouper little baby grouper nice just left one John who handed off a couple Snapper and now this John who just been killing it this afternoon he said he's got another fish man you're like out here in the looks like seemingly the middle of nothing but it's got to be a good Reef here look at this toss her in get back to it Je in your boat yeah that's fine sweet that's called a yellow Snapper two old guys are killing it today keep it up bro good stuff man I didn't stop recording yet and he spped up again that's cool though that's another different species yeah seems like it man that's like five species and that's yeah it's it's a type of Caba which is kind of like yeah they're related to grouper all right Johnny's got something else you wanted a fish D that is a greater Haw fish they're decent D but we've got a enough back there so we'll just toss it back they get pretty big they're the biggest species of hawkfish on Earth that one's not but man we ate one on a different camping trip and we did not know if it was going to be good and it actually really was knocking species off your list sweet Walker with a big old Needle Fish crocodile needle fish sir call him a Goa here gnarly teeth on the popper sick sir nice work man you got pliers in there you should there you go just nice and easy you see those teeth look at him chomping down on it he's angry he keeps chomping down chomping on my there you go there he goes damn John's on fire right now we just left him with the second fish in a row and he's got something else that it's even bigger he's basically working his way up Needle Fish trigger fish say he don't know what this is but feels bigger Longer oh what is that yeah grab by the tail a African pompo bro yeah yeah man oh and the lure popped out with his eyeball it's okay man he's going to be dinner anyways let's hold it up a good eye towards me he's not hooked anymore yeah that's okay that's okay look at that John here back to back to back and he get got better each time that's like Poor Man's rooster fish you see that dorsal fin he's got the wispies we've had quite a few clients call us over I got a rooster I got a rooster and then it's one of these guys sweet man I'll give you the side that still has an eyeball yeah that's good that's good that's funny that exact thing just happened to me in New Zealand all looks like Jabari took up big oh yeah there you go bro what was that on live doing it like a champ Jabari here originally from Jamaica he lives in New York now and here he is fighting a rooster fish out in the middle of nowhere it's spinning his kayak like a top come on all that's the Grande gu there look at that Jabari M yeah fought it like a seasoned veteran first time fishing for this kind of fish in a kayak yeah sick Bro Look at that look at that W wo amig dude that about that I mean I got it all on video If it makes you that's an epic story to tell I know it was an expensive one brother I'm sorry we got plenty of lures though I got you can use all my personal stuff whatever you need don't don't worry about that I mean at least for the next two days bro that was an epic battle like one of the most epic battles with the rooster I've ever watched dude he was trying to get you in the Rocks like I got that whole thing on video I'll give you all the footage bro that was [Music] epic like nice work dude that rooster was fighting hard I've seen bigger roosters not pull that hard that thing was was trying to hurt you bro oh my God you guys one of the most epic battles of the rooster fish I've ever seen Jabari here handled it like a champ that thing was pulling his kayak backwards put spinning him in circles drug him to the Rocks he had to loosen his drag and pedal out multiple times absolutely insane fight he landed the fish himself Everything went perfect despite the challenges and then he was holding up for the photo and the kayak flipped it's just a lot of weight your center of gravity goes up unfortunately you lost a GoPro and a rod and a bunch of Jigs and poppers and lures in the process but the other boat they're going back to camp to grab a mask and they're going to do some diving here see if they can recover any of it so kind of a heartbreaking in but jabari's going home with a hell of a story to tell that was wild that fish was trying to kill him and he handed it all perfectly and then there after the Finish Line tragedy struck but that's one hell of a story that's a story I'll be telling to Future clients that was wild the whole thing you fought that thing like a boss dude that was sweet to watch that was wild I was getting real scared man you were close to that those rcks first time on a kayak yeah first first big fish from a kayak he's ever fought and he uh he got The Full Experience on that one holy Lo hi we fishing now boys ready down for theight all right well fun little warm-up session here at Campo Boos just throwing some light lures small lures around the Rocks tons of different species came up tomorrow we're going to go we're going to Mothership The Kayaks to like one of these spots and be going after Giants but now we're back at Camp we're going to cook up some grub I think tonight we're going to cook up these fish we caught the Snapper uh two species of Snapper we got three of those and an African pompo we're going to cook those up about to figure out how we're going to do it kind of get organized for a fishing trip tomorrow but great little start to the trip tons of fun everyone caught some fish we're just out here enjoying Paradise now [Applause] [Music] Bo [Music] [Applause] pumped up with hormones they're growing got some ponas going down twice fried plantains so you fry them and then you smash them and then you fry them again now traditionally well I guess traditionally you would use a rock we're kind of getting back to Tradition at the lodge we use utensils don't worry you sanitize The Rock wor you that's shs that's a lie see R flavor yeah little sea salt no I [Music] don't twice fried plantains one okay so good s boy so plantains when they're ripe when they're yellow they're sweet we use the green ones and it's kind of starchy it's like a potato almost this will basically replace french fries on your plate and for me way better than french fries smashed with a rock here on the island it's been smoothed out by the ocean got a little bit of sea salt flavor naturally so good I'm going go grab some fish forgot you use this to a table in this in this seat cool cuz it's hot yeah that looks hot they actually took a table here they brought one yeah right here uhoh what I do with my wine oh yeah we just left it your wine back here I think that's mine didn't you have a green one oh look yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah is it dirty I think it's got coconut on there's some floaters but it's wine so I'm going to drink it you kidding me forgot we've also got some fish stew made out of boila out of Alo Jack that the group left us Morris made some fish stew before he left fish soup with some rice same we I see I don't know how I'm going to eat oh [ __ ] look at all the fish when you don't fillet it you leave it on the bones and then pick it off the bones and comes off in these really easy Sheets if you score it you don't have to worry about the bones at all comes off in these nice little pieces still got the skin on there all the flavors in the skin it's crispy salty fantastic the panamanians always look at us like we're idiots when we fet our fish and once they start eating this way I get why wow fantastic we just made like a 100 ponas I thought we were going to have leftovers Victor just asked me if I want the last two I'd say the clients like it fish is phenomenal doesn't get any fresher was swimming about an hour and a half ago out here with no kitchen just living good eating good I'm Shoveling it in so good how was this soup was it good flavor really good yeah I got to try it so this one's the rock Snapper which we don't normally we would not fry this hole back in Civilization cuz it can be a little bit tough but honestly it's it's almost like chicken with the skin on there it's really good I like that that's a good camping meal there one great day amazing meal I think all the guys are asleep there's one guy I only see one client right now it's 8:15 think we wore him out a little bit I got a little glass of boxed wine just chilling going to enjoy the Stars the Stars here are just out of this world relax we're going to get up early cook breakfast and we're going to Mothership these guys put their kayaks and the pongas take him down to a spot called SAA 3 is not very far at all Epic fishing down there tomorrow we're going be running big live base try to get these guys some monsters Today Was a Good warm-up session good meal authentic panamania meal they were all raving about it great first day here at Camp Los Boos we'll see what tomorrow brings for now we're going to go relax enjoy the Stars the sounds of the
