mind people view it as a bit weird i i think quirky is a better word maybe the collection closest to chris's heart is a set of banknotes these were the first ones i've got so that's like an old power note over 25 years he's amassed 3 000 notes a one-time world record this one from rhodesia according to me is worth about 600 dollars that's one of the oldest ones that's from vatican city that's over 200 years old it's all hand signed and held together with 200 year old sticky tape father of two chris is a freelance financial advisor recently some of his customers haven't paid their invoices on time leaving him short of money for everyday bills there's sort of five or six big invoices that i was waiting on coming through so i just thought well rather than waiting on those to come through if i can just put the money in the bank that they're going to bring in then i can sort of cover the next three months worth of bills and mortgage and then when the invoices come through then we just swap it over and i'll get the banknotes back i think the banknotes are worth as a collection probably about twenty thousand chris is hoping the value of his collection will be enough to get a loan of 5 000
