Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
He has been doing those videos for about 18 months now.
Shippea Hill in Norfolk was the least used until he went along with about 20 of friends and damn near doubled the usage for the year.
These guys are more excited about getting on a train than I am about anything.
Also, 4 services a day and one gets cancelled lmao..
And what the hell, you can get them to stop a train for you?!
Love Geoff's videos. His channel and others he's part of is brilliant.
P.s. Vicky looks different in this one.
Geoff and Vicki are national treasures, their enthusiasm is endearing and infectious.
I would highly recommend checking out their other channel too, All the Stations, where as you might guess they spent a couple of months in 2017 visiting every station on the British rail network. It's just so lovely and relaxing, and a great snapshot of both rail travel and the average lives of people from all ends of our island. It made me want to see more of the UK, especially Scotland.
Choose life. Choose Corrour.
I canโt believe Iโve just watched that whole 14 minutes
As an angst filled teenager growing up in the early eighties with the constant threat of nuclear war looming, those sirens used to cause me stress all the time, with the question in the back of my mind : โis this it, is this how it all ends?โ . The sirens were much more regular then than now with one in the morning and one in the afternoon but it was the unexpected sirens that happened intermittently that really used to get to me.
Oh mate, my dad used to get off at that train station to go to work. I donโt think any trains go through it now except one really early on a morning, but trains up here normally get cancelled or delayed so it literally never gets used. I didnโt think British steel was the least used train station in uk though, thatโs mad that
I don't even really have an interest in trains but I love this guys videos. Maybe that means I have an interest in trains now though.
Thereโs another station on that same line; Teesside airport. Iโm pretty sure that is in the top 10 too. Only a couple of services a week to that one. Doesnโt help that itโs about a mile away from the actual airport with nothing but fields in between!
