Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Best thing is, the F1 wasn't even pushing, otherwise lap time would have been in the low 1:30s (from a standing start).
I'm also a fan of the Supercar vs Motorbike vs F1 car video by Top Gear. I do love that Red Bull does these random stunts because they can.
anyone have an ancient video of jeremy clarkson in a ford driving around silverstone and then collin mcrae and johnny herbert try to catch him in their respective cars? i couldnβt find it on youtube but itβs a lot like this
Damn that f1 car just teleported on the final straight.
Iβm sure the new cars are a lot faster too.
There was one of these from a number of years ago with Michael Schumacher reading a paper while the first car goes, then a while later the performance car goes and then schumi slowly folds up his paper and puts on his helmet and hunts the other two down to beat them over the line
Some may think this was originally done by Ferrari in 1996 or Mclaren-Mercedes in 2002.
But the first (at least the one I know) was in 1990 by Mclaren+Senna.
My favorite comparison is the GT race at spa side-by-side with the f1 race.
