Recreating Red Force (Planet Coaster) | Part 1 - Track Work and Supports

[Music] hello everyone and welcome back to another video and this is another episode on planet coaster now this is episode 1 of a new series this is gonna be my red force recreation in Planet cursor and I shirt red for us because at the moment I'm not been doing shamballa because I've been busy with self as taker and other things and I've not really at the time to put effort into Shambala so I've spent a lot of time on a more compact you know bit of a smaller project that's not going to take as long and somewhat like Shambala so this will probably happen in the next few months and then after that I will finish Shambala but I just got some inspiration last week to stop making this ride and there's been several points who have been at the point where I've been like cap yes not gonna finish his projects you know but I've carried on and it's all you know turned out the way I wanted I'm really happy with how it is so far I mean I'm a water fair ahead than just his first episode I thought I'd you know just record a bunch of stuff for me playing because I just really wanted to get a load of stuff done and I've done a lot so far but before this recording I had already filmed me making the launch and the the tower over the top and then I realized that it was way too thick and that when when you put it over the top of the m.d was it the big map it it didn't line up correctly and so I tried using the map and seeing if it lined up correctly and there was just no whereas I was getting it to line up on the map in the tight little angle it has and make it look it makes it literally looks like a little tiny little skinny little thing and obviously with the height I think it's just to do with front cuts to scaling and things it just didn't look anything like what it was supposed to and so why did is I basically just playing around with it made it to the size I thought looked right and eventually got with something that looks right to me so that half of the right I'm just gonna have to like the buildings around it I'll just have to model there's not much around there so it's not gonna matter too much em yeah it don't make much of a difference really and and surprisingly with planet coasters limitations in the grim I mean you can't make top hats easily it's really difficult they have so many stupid limitations like you can disable track limits in your English settings but it don't like stop track limits for happening because when you're building if you want to have it a 90-degree vertical angle and ten it's like say eight degrees it just doesn't do that and I don't know why pilot goes to like that but it just is but surprisingly I found a way to do it without banking offset and it turned out really well it's really smooth I mean it's just perfectly smooth it's not like like a crazy element he goes quite slowly up but it's it's decent and I'm really happy with how smooth it came out it's very realistic to the actual POV as well but yeah I'm just I'm really happy with how it's turned out so far as I said there's been a lot of points where I've been like closed ragequitting on this because things like the station were over little areas have been bugging me like even the track I was like I'm she's never gonna be able to make it right and but I carried on and yeah this is gonna be a bit of a longer video because there's a lot to show in this video and this is making the tracrac doing the sports and then doing the sign that goes on the actual support the massive Ferrari setting and I'm really happy with how that turned out it's like Bart on to how it's supposed to look like the the imprints on the actual sign itself are just spot-on and I'm really proud of the way it came out em when you get there I mean you saw the close-up at the beginning but you'll see how tedious it was to make em you'll see how I actually made them used the billboard technique you just got an image videos to make sure it was right size and there's still some little bits like him on the back of it and I need to put that like a little support things that attach onto the sign I haven't done any of that really I've just got the actual sign and then the M it's just like placed on where it should be 8 ways and things but I'm just I think this is a really decent Hajus of her and I just thought you know nobody's built it um I love bottom insurer and this is the second best ride their supports wise when you see it and I was halfway through building this and I was thinking you know how I mean it's pretty much the exact same spots as Top Thrill Dragster and kingly care and it's weird because seen it in real life it don't have the same aesthetic that it's awful Dexter and keep the cap like because obviously the different track types and different things but the supports which is pretty much the same except for the fact it's got the Ferrari logo but for some one reason the Ferrari logo makes it look different in real life it's weird because you know like your when when I was making this I realized how similar it did look to the the trickster KinderCare support structure but yeah I've been watching a lot of different series recently and I've been watching look-ins the smiler recreation which i think is absolutely fantastic he's he's apparently quitting after after this project after the smiler releases and which is bit sad because he's definitely one of the best planet because there we creators are planet coaster creators along with you know silver I definitely put mine levels of that because at the amount of pieces and effort and the rad size made are absolutely incredible so I definitely put mine levels of Silve and all them lot but yeah life takes away don't it always comes first so I can understand why he's doing it but yeah just really enjoyed that series it inspired me a lot to starry creation along with the Galactica series by Mac use mine I've mentioned him in the previous self as take a video just that series is just inspired me a lot to to do this series as well and I think I'm annoying about this is the fact that I've had to use at ships so many times because it's at like they have this plastic feel and all throughout all the buildings pretty much except from like the Italian little area it's basically just like oval walls made out of plastic and you'll you'll see when I make the station how difficult is to make ovals out of out ships and things it's just so difficult and the ships using that which really hard to make the station is come out alright you'll see that in the next still and whenever that episode comes out I'll be episode three but it's just it's it's quite annoying because at shapes aren't the best they're definitely growing on me now I've been using them so much but they're definitely not the best because they have much texture to them but I mean there's nothing else something able to use I've used it for the sign I've used it for the queue line I've used it for the station this can be quite nice when I'm building the the Italian little facade because I haven't I actually haven't and I have plans of extending to the full of Ferrari well I'm just very Lancer I'm just gonna make red Foss and then if that does well and then then I'll release it to the workshop just this like little strip and then and then if it does well and people want to see it I might finish off the rest of Ferrari London recreate flying dreams and all the different rides and things I'll definitely do that because that'd be fun to do because the buildings didn't not to had except from that moon dome Jesus that's somewhat I'm dreading if I do do that but yeah I'm gonna I'm just gonna do this like main strip by the ride is all things below red force and the path leading up you can see the ready red dome in the background on the floor that main massive building it's gonna go near enough to there but yeah you can see me now what's that making the actual ship I did actually grab somebody else's off the workshop because I knew how Ricky this was gonna be but it turns out that's a there's wasn't the right shape or size so I ended up having to make my own and I used Photoshop to get the image up and things but for some weird reason and it goes there stretches the things I had to stretch it we would talk about but yeah the sound took so long you can see I've commit my own like miniature sign on the actual drop tower and that doesn't look too bad from afar I'm quite happy with the way out and out I use that quite a lot in all the signs that we've used for it for the s I used like overlapped ships and things but then I just for some odd reason decided I was gonna use the tiniest little pieces and it does turn out really well but yeah it took forever and I'm I'm glad I did this way though because it just looks much better the only issue with this is the rendering distance like you'll get to halfway down the you literally if you're in the station you can't see the center you can see the yellow you can't see any of the details which is a bit annoying with the render distance so wishes oh it's a buffalo render distance blue cat yeah you can see me doing it it's good this is like near the end of the video now because I've sped this up by like 2800 or something like mental how and which I've sped this up by yeah but yeah basically do the ship fill it in and then fill in with the yellow put the little and the flag there on the top for the Italy and then cool it with color it all in red on the back you know it's true to real life but yeah I'm really happy with how the sound comes out it looked I was expecting you know a little blotches little things to look awkward and weird but no it just it just looks spot-on with the M the way it looks with the yeah the logo is just just why it's supposed to look like you definitely tell stars and things but yeah I'm not really sure what to talk about I've done everything really and just to be sure that I will carry on with Shambala just I've not really had the inspiration that I'm not sure how I'm gonna do some of the sections like like Shambhala has its in levels and I just can't find how far up or how far down you know paths good thing and let that out yet so just need some time to work out how I'm gonna do it in structure it properly because I kind of went in without a limb just at building the curse to without thinking about what was gonna do and you know the areas and things but I'll definitely finish it off and like a couple months baby or whenever I finish this project so doesn't go back to Shambala because I'm not doing because I really want to do Shambala sham I was one of the ones that I've always wanted to do and I'm definitely not getting modern finish of stem I've had limitations and that I just thought you know what was let's do red force because it's quite compact it's a smaller purchase wasn't doing self as take and yeah it's just it it's just a bit more you know to help get my building up I guess um I'm not too sure I just find it a lot easier to build the different buildings and things compared to Shambala you know it's just building what confidence are sort of had an ax and to make to make sure I make Shambala the best I can here we are doing the flag this eka like watching it back it's just painful to remember how long this took forever and now finally we are at the end of the video now just putting the final few pieces in on the back but yeah thank you all for watching this video and I hope you're all excited as I am for
