I appreciate the simplicity behind the studio in that I view the studio as a way to document a live process instead of relying on studio magic; work on capturing the soul of a performance. Not to say there aren't a thousand ways to make a record.
Would I use the equipment? Absolutely not, but I enjoy the underlying concept.
