Rebuilding A Wrecked Lamborghini Huracan Part 14

so this is my first time actually seeing it they went to pick it up and let's see it man this bad girl ain't got some mods on her really like that yeah what is up guys welcome back to the channel so today we're continuing to work on our 2016 Lamborghini Huracan and one of the main things that we're going to start doing today is start paint prep in the entire car but before we do any of that we really want to focus on the interior and get it finished up completely and as you can see our passenger airbag did deploy in our seat and that totally just ripped all the all those sewing threads right in that crack right there so we're gonna have to try to pull this seat out see if we can get inside of it swap that air back and sew it right up [Music] mm first successful clip that popped yep without breaking anything now I'm gonna see if I can look inside here to see how this comes off it's really interesting how this comes off I think this and oh I don't know how this comes off right here yeah it's like a straight piece of metal that goes all the way down in there whole lever let's see what we can figure out though Thomas you gonna help us figure out this seat man because we just can't we can't we can't figure out why you out can't figure out why I won't just pop open uh there is uh some clips under there that we looked it looks like it almost slides up we took a bunch of stuff out of here as you can tell Thomas just showing you how we took it apart there is one thing though this this is actually the front of the seat of this part the front of it and it's connected to this back part and it's just some kind of weird clip I really don't know we've been looking at it researching doing a lot of research trying to figure out how exactly this thing comes apart but we're still going we're gonna try to remove this back part as soon as we can but it is a little tough one [Music] Thomas you know if you ruined the seat you're gonna have to apologize for it Rhea polyester it is that hey say reupholster it reupholstered polyester Thomas is a cool cat he's a crazy cat hopefully he doesn't scratch this up no we won't live Wow Wow wait by the by the clip removers need some work done dude get some work done [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now that we got that flap off what else we got here we got a few Alan's yeah that's what it looks like yeah it was really difficult taking this off because we were just trying to figure out exactly how this held on and there's actually like a little flap that pops up there's one two three four and five we had to I finally figured it out just press down really hard it almost feels like you're about to break it but then it goes pop snaps and they just come right off so we're good there so now let's keep going and hopefully get this back off [Music] hmm all right guys check this out we finally got this thing off it was pretty difficult but we just realized where all the little screws were they're all hidden in little places but we got them all off as you can see they're super tiny very hard to locate especially when the seat and everything is all black glue finally got everything off now we're gonna go ahead and probably pop this little sucker off right here and to get to that airbag should be just right there look how easy it is to get that airbag BAM so we're gonna swap that airbag out and then we're gonna go ahead and call up grandma and get some sewing tips hopefully so this sucker back up [Music] and that is it guys just like that we got this seat off we thought we would never take this leg apart because how difficult how much time we spent looking up doing research asking a lot of people around but finally got it off there goes our airbag right there as you can see folks it is deployed very simple to remove also it is just a 10 millimeter bolt right there and just undo the wires and put the new one in so that up we already called up grandma she told us how to so she said to put on thimbles on all five fingers I think she said ten finger yep thimbles on also we don't get messed up [Music] all right so here's the dollar tree no now Michael's craft store we're gonna start some crafting yeah we're gonna see if they got the right needles and the right of its own supply yeah the right songs thread yeah the right thread the right thing so let's go in here to find our supplies I've been in one of these stores in a while I don't know where to go - there's so much selection here we're gonna use yarn balls yeah I'm getting closer right here see that curve one I got every size we need so I guess this is the pack that we need we need some thick thread or his regular what do you call this - see this is too thin I almost looks like fishing line yeah we needed to think of stuff possible right here I didn't do that right here's two different variants you see how thin this stuff is and how think this stuff is yeah we want the thicker stuff let's grab both of these just in case well nevermind we just need this one all right so we're gonna grab that check out and then won't catch you guys back at the house we are back with our supplies now let's get this thing stitched up [Music] all righty guys check this out we're not 100% complete but just look at that look at that look at stitching right there you can't even tell it's there just like this OEM side as you can see from right here you're not supposed to see the stitching at all but check it out who came out really good that would that right there took what about like three three hours dude four hours three four hours easily cuz it was just so tedious work you were we were going back through the original sewing holes that's actual whoever sewed this up so it can go directly back in its original form because if you don't saw none of these pieces will fit correctly and it won't it won't sit right so the next step is to sew this part up right here which is gonna be the most difficult part it's all like bunched up it's gonna take a little bit of more time but we're gonna try to knock it out real quick and then put this seat back together and that'll be it for that interior of this leg [Music] [Applause] [Music] alright man that it's finally done - that took forever hours all day honestly all day but you know what we didn't want to just let somebody else do it we really want to do it ourselves and actually it turned out absolutely amazing like a revenge you know look at that looks super good whole seam right here and then this seam or this thing which one is it so it looks so good yeah tell it's this one right here but dude that is that was a back-breaking so in variance I can see why them grandmas charts so much to do something like this but so it is really late right now we're not gonna install this tonight we're gonna have to get some rest because we got a surprise for y'all in the morning let's see it man that's a Honda boys are getting into that Japanese stuff this is my first time checking this s2000 s2k Danny he looks pretty sick so far he did send me a snap of the Nvidia exhaust I noticed that barely read I believe some bad girl ain't got some mods on her really like that yeah look that has the exact same coil overs as our kit car really yeah same coil overs and all it won't start though so we're gonna have to figure that out right now it's a manual all that's to thousands of manual right definitely imagine you're gonna be able to roll it right off yeah roll it right off and try to get this thing started our fingers cost everything's good we're gonna have to go through the oil the coolant as you can see I already showed them the main damage right here oh man it just got pushed back so it's nothing's too serious so hopefully this thing cranks right up and we're good to go yeah I see him see the coil overs it has oh yeah nice name and it came with some steak and shake cheeseburgers stuff to cheese stuff cheeseburger and stuffed bear let's see what's under this hood right here got a cannon cold air filter right here always got headers on it it does that's headers dude what is this a little strut holding the engine yeah it's like just iffen it up a little bit that is crazy somebody did some work but on the body well body wise like all it needs is a front bumper right we got the front bumper it's in the back of the truck is it in good condition oh let's check it out Oh scratched up got a little dim we'll get a new one for sure honestly you just throw this front bumper off me it's running the car will look complete but yeah let's go ahead and check the fluids check the coolant check the battery see if we can get this thing started you even try it the battery is completely shot so would it start at all this was an insurance car yeah right insurance car yeah it says it right there also our insurance company so there's not somebody just trying to screw somebody over us yeah that's a good car the reason why they totaled it out cuz that afraid that's basically frame damage so nothing too serious you know guys we do way crazier stuff in this let's get it straight all the way home alright guys so we actually just ran and got a brand new battery because we didn't have any around the house let's install it and we'll go from there hopefully it starts so you feel start right up oh yeah oils great coolant we're not gonna run it too long so that shouldn't matter how do you do this ignition I hear it press it yep [Applause] it sounds like it's not gettin spark'd so I'm thinking about when you check all the fuses and possibly checks for clogs guys check that out the seat is a hundred percent complete looks amazing now that we're going to be done with the interior for now we're gonna move on to the outside of the car and actually start wet sanding what I really want to start with is that hood because as you can see it has all this residue from the tarp that they put on the front vehicle but no big deal we're gonna try to remove that with some sort of remover and then we're gonna start wet sanding that hood [Music] dang this stuff removes everything but bird alright guys we just finished sending that hood I send it out pretty easily I'm happy with it just look at that nice matte finish that's the finish that we are trying to achieve on the rest of the car so right now we pulled the car up a little bit if you can't notice we're gonna go ahead and start with this vendor and move on down to this a whole entire side but before we do so we do want to tape all this stuff off that we don't want to that sandpaper the ruin like the moldings all this good stuff and the window sandpaper will ruin the window if you sand it'll self-antigen yeah it will definitely put some scratches in so we're gonna go ahead take everything off and start saying [Music] all righty guys so now that we got these panels sanded down we're actually gonna move on to the quarter panel and the side skirt and resent it because you can clearly see it did not match up but here so you're gonna see us doing a bit of paint testing a few different combinations of paint to try to get the best match possible so let's go ahead and get these panels sanded [Music] all righty guys so that's gonna be all that we sent today until we get our front bumper and we didn't go all out onto sending the quarter panel and the side skirt because it's such a fresh paint job that you don't want to sand through on a fresh paint job because we had problems in the past but for now it's gonna dry out in a few days and we'll be able to send everything once that front bumper comes in so we're excited to have this thing in a paint booth as soon as possible so actually guys we're gonna give you guys a build rundown before we end this video off because we haven't done that in a while so starting with our oldest original build is this 2017 Ford Mustang this car happens to be my daily driver I love driving it every single day and as far as the boost goes we're still trying to work with any companies if any companies want to help us out boost this thing twin turbos or supercharger does not matter we'll look forward to doing that and as for our zeal one with the one elite aero package this thing is an absolute beast hands down but we just don't drive it much it's just uh there's just such an aggressive track focused car that we don't have time driving it and honestly out of all of our cars this is not the best suited daily driver for us so we're definitely gonna throw this thing on the market and hopefully get this thing sold and as for the health cat this thing is an absolute beast on the track and on the road dude we absolutely love this thing and Thomas the Hellcat loves it too but this is probably gonna be the first one to go guys because we got some awesome new projects on the way and as for the Viper this is one of those bills that are here to stay because of how rare it is and what's been done to it the engine has a long block done to it as well as the exhaust in the suspension it's all track focus this thing is an absolute animal and the value is just going up so you're gonna see us complete this here very soon and as for Japanese cars that we almost forgot Nissan 370z saan GTR this car is basically a hundred percent complete if you guys have any ideas what we should do this thing either keep it build it sell it and maybe move on to bigger and better projects and ask for 370z thing has just been sitting out here grass is growing around it but not a big deal this thing's gonna be back on the road here real
