REAL LIFE CLEAN WITH ME AS A MOM | Day in the Life of a Mom | Real Life Cleaning Motivation

guys welcome back to my channel today we are kind of doing to get it all done i have no idea what i'm going to title this because i don't know exactly what the day is going to hold yet but um i started cleaning a little while ago while kai was sleeping right now he's eating because he just woke up from his nap it's memorial day weekend so we had my sister and another couple come over yesterday and then today jay took brecken to a baseball game which is super fun and so it's just me and kai guy today and my sister's coming back over tomorrow memorial day so i want to kind of like refresh the house because you know having kids here yesterday and everybody running around we made a bunch of food and all that sort of stuff so the house is just a little bit messy and i need to get it kind of picked back up i also desperately need to clean out my car it is a disaster so and i would like to go to the car wash and yeah i don't know just like normal sunday things kind of because i had to go into the office this week and i'm not going to want to do any of it tomorrow so we're just starting to pack it all in today uh we'll see how far we get i also need to do like some gardening and like there's a lot and it's like 3 30 in the afternoon i had a really late start so um yeah we'll see what this day brings but i hope you guys had a nice holiday weekend um i'm sorry to anyone if this is a hard weekend for you um if you've lost someone in the line of duty i my heart is with you and um just super thankful for the people that are willing to do that for us so without further ado let's get this day going i think hi guy hey yeah he's done ah look at that grumpy baby are you being grumpy look at that baby so yeah we'll see what all this little guy lets me do today yeah are you ready all right let's go all right so we are just starting in the living room i'm just picking up all the toys that were brought out yesterday when the kids were over playing and then also just in the morning of this day i just kind of let them all run amok and everybody gets to pull out whatever they want when they have friends over so it was a little bit of a mess and everything was spotless the day before because of course i cleaned before everyone came over so you'll see i'm just kind of doing surface cleaning here i'm picking up the floor and then i'm gonna do some dishes and in the bathroom like i'd already deep cleaned it the day before so i'm just gonna run over it with some like lysol wipes just to kind of freshen everything up because like i said we're gonna have people over the next day so i just wanted to get everything back in order for the week as well as having them come even when it don't feel right [Music] i still wanna party with her even when it don't feel right you know i'ma party with her [Music] [Music] so one of the normal just weekly things that i needed to do that doesn't have anything to do with company coming over were doing the boys bed so i needed to wash their bedding and then with breckens i like to he has a cover on there like a waterproof cover that i like to wipe down every time i clean his bed because i don't know it just feels like it probably gets gross but you're not supposed to really throw them in the washer because it can like disintegrate the waterproof part so i'm just wiping that down if you're wondering why i'm taking spray to the top of this mattress and then i'm just gonna throw these in the washer and i'm gonna do kai's and yes this angle is super weird i feel like it looks like i'm filming in the real world i was cracking up when i was editing this but kylan i swear the kid has google gadget arms and can reach this camera anywhere i put it in his room so i i found a couple other places throughout the day that if i put him on shelves and stuff but right here i have it on the tripod on his changing thing then we just read a book really quick because why not just sit down and read a book with your kid instead of clean so getting the everything in the laundry here and we will keep moving around the [Music] house [Music] [Applause] [Music] and this is where i was talking about with the bathroom i'm just kind of wiping down really quick just the touch points like where people would have touched the day before like i said i did a deep clean the day before and then we had people over so just the soap and the faucet and toilet and stuff like that i just felt like i needed to do a quick once over and then we will go on to the thing that i dread which is [Music] dishes [Music] yeah this is what he likes to do now huh stand up in your little high chair huh yeah not supposed to do that are we [Music] friday [Music] just as long as she's with me every day of the weekend [Music] [Music] with and remember how this is clean not too long ago well i needed to clean other parts of the house so this is what happened this is cleaning with a one-year-old yes it's coming off the rails you're just in a diapee you have my phone you don't even know what phones do silly goose and now we're just gonna make more of a mess oh love that if this isn't the most accurate representation of cleaning with one year old i don't know what it is super cool okay yeah yep [Music] you know i'm a party with her [Music] i just i wanted to show real life like i'm not going to get to half the things i wanted to get to today because he needed me to be a mom more than i needed to clean so i also didn't want this through editing to look like i just decided oh i'm gonna clean my house and then here i am it only took like 20 minutes yeah no i get like 20 minutes of work but it takes roughly eight hours to get that 20 minutes in so we are gonna play in the tub for a little while and then hopefully he'll feel a little bit better and bedtime's not too far away so i will catch back with you probably after he goes to bed [Music] one thing i did have to get done before he went down obviously was to make his bed so we did that we went in and made brecken's bed did a little bit of laundry he was in a better mood after he took his bath so he stayed up a little bit longer than i thought he was going to and then brecken was home by this point but he was outside they got home from the baseball game and he needed to go get some energy out and so he was out swinging and playing in the backyard while we got everything ready for the night and i swear watching this i feel like i should put circus music because while i'm filling up the diapers on the top kylan's pulling out the diapers from the bottom it is a mess [Music] with your skin next to mine in your lips i can fight but it's over now [Music] for no reason does anyone else have a second child that just wakes up and choose violence or is that just mine [Music] here i am at round 18 of cleaning up this living room so i picked up a couple more things and then i ended up calling it a night for the day i had a sinus headache and i was just i was done so we moved on to the next day and really all i had left was i needed a vacuum up and then take care of a couple dishes that i hand washed and wipe off the counters [Music] to me it was clear but you lied to me now i keep thinking was i wasting my time letting you into my life um [Music] all right guys so that's all i have for today it was all over the place because kids and all of that so i've had some people say that they appreciate the fact that i i show the real side of things instead of making it look all perfect through editing and all of that so i just kept in the places that were real and that weren't efficient and where kai needed me and i don't know if you guys like that sort of thing let me know um i can definitely edit things down to make them look like i don't have
