DAILY CLEANING ROUTINE // Clean With Me // Winter 2021

hi you guys welcome back to my channel today i am bringing you a cleaning video i just had some basic things to get done around the house so i started up the camera and i hope this brings you some motivation to get some things done around your house as well today i'm starting off in my kitchen i'm going to get my dishwasher unloaded first and then we're going to load the dishwasher if you guys are new here and this is your first video of mine that you are watching hi i am kristen i am married to my husband donnie of almost 10 years we have three kids braden brody and berkeley they are almost ten nine and four i do some day in the lifestyle videos and also cleaning and organizing videos and really just whatever i'm feeling inspired to film on that particular day so i would love to [Music] i'm just taking some mrs meyer's dish soap and my scrubber brush and i'm going to scrub out inside my sink every time i do the dishes i do this and it just leaves it sparkling clean and it makes the whole kitchen smell so [Music] good [Music] i had just gotten a grocery delivery on this day and i had four packages of strawberries that needed to be washed before i cut them up so i'm going to put those in a big bowl with water add a few drops of lemon essential oil and let that sit while i move on to cleaning some other things in the kitchen [Music] so i'm going to hop up on the counter here and i'm going to use my bar keepers friend stainless steel cleaner to clean the range hood and this gets so dusty and so like greasy so this is something that i have been trying to do once a week and it just blows my mind every time i get up here to clean this at how gross it gets so here's your reminder if you have not climbed up on your counter to clean your range hood in a while go ahead and do that today i love cooking with my cast iron griddle here on my stovetop i just keep it on this side and i use it pretty much every single day whether i'm making something for the kids or we use it for dinner or breakfast it's just awesome but i had used quite a bit of olive oil to cook some taco shells the night before so i'm just using some paper towels to wipe that down and then i'm also going to remove the grates after i use a warm rag to wipe those down and i'm just going to clean the stove top with that same bar keepers friend stainless steel fall cleaner out of my chest baby your lips and your sweet smile let me kiss it till i die for the rest of our life yes you and me were meant [Music] for the rest of our lives it's gonna be a done deal just wait and see [Music] well the sun's up you wake up an angel in the morning light and i don't ever want to leave the bed's messed up just right so we make love and we make plans and god knows that i'm all about it we're up high never coming down the stove is clean i'm just gonna use my mrs meyer's multi-surface cleaner to wipe down the countertops [Music] and as you can see i did spray inside my stove because i cleaned that out but when i went to clean it out i did not push the record button on my camera even though i thought i did so i didn't have any footage of that to put in here but i did wipe down the inside of the door on the oven [Music] for the rest of our days we'll be everything we want to be for the rest of our lives now i'm taking that same bar keeper's friend stainless steel cleaner and i'm going to wipe down the refrigerator [Music] [Music] it's gonna be a done deal just wait and see it's gonna be a done deal just wait and see [Music] now that i am done wiping everything down and cleaning in the kitchen the strawberries have been soaking that whole time and they are ready to be rinsed off and cut up so i'm just going to rinse them off and then take them over to the island and i'm going to cut them all up into small pieces and put them in this tupperware we go through strawberries so fast the kids love having fruit with basically every single meal and strawberries are their favorite i also like to keep bananas and little cutie oranges and fruit cups on hand as well but strawberries the whole family if we want to snack we always grab the strawberries [Music] and say goodbye you can be honest i don't appreciate your lies so now that those are cut up and nicely stored away in the refrigerator i'm going to vacuum the kitchen and then we will move on to picking up and vacuuming the living room so while i was filming this video we actually had an ice storm coming through where we live in oregon this was filmed on friday we were supposed to be getting some snow but we ended up just getting freezing rain which created a thick layer of ice on everything and actually in the middle of the night after this video was filmed that night the trees got so heavy all over our whole area that they all started snapping falling over braking and that caused a lot of damage in our area power lines down we were out of power for a little over 48 hours luckily we do have a generator so we were able to run that and have some long extension cords to be able to plug the refrigerator into as well as some lamps and a space heater so we were fine but um you guys saw braeden standing there at the sliding glass door looking out because it's hard to tell on camera just because of the lighting but it was raining and absolutely freezing it was a pretty crazy weekend and there's still a lot of people without power so praying for them and also a huge thank you to all of the linemen and women and tree service workers first responder all of the people that play a part in keeping us safe getting the power back on and working super hard in all of that but i'm just taking my swiffer duster and wiping all the surfaces down in the living room and then i'm going to run my vacuum in here [Music] many times [Music] big [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that it is now moving on to the dining room i'm just gonna clean up some of the kids stuff that was out on the table there's a lot of crumbs left over from lunch so i'm just gonna spray the table down and wipe all of that onto the floor and then we will vacuum [Music] anything that i hear you [Music] me [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] now i'm just going to wipe down at my buffet over here in the dining room with some of that mrs myers cleaner and then i'm going to use my swiffer duster to wipe down the bookshelf in the hallway [Music] [Music] [Music] i'm also going to use my swiffer duster these things are so nice to have on hand because the little blue heads come off and you can switch them out when they get dirty i'm going to wipe down this shelf here in the dining room and then i'm also going to wipe down the shelf on the top of our hall tree and our [Music] you entryway [Music] [Applause] [Music] now i'm showing you guys underneath the buffet there's so many little dust bunnies that get trapped under here so i'm just gonna take my vacuum and get under there and get all of that cleaned up and now i'm heading into the entryway i'm gonna get all these shoes put away where they need to go there's some school papers from berkeley's preschool that need to be put away and then i'm just gonna wipe down this bench and get it all cleaned up [Music] putting on the greatest show so make sure that you don't miss out just be there we're taking our shot bring [Music] [Applause] jumping around i'm also going to vacuum the rug here in the laundry room and roll that up so i can vacuum the floor this is a super high traffic area and we do have a black lab and three kids like i told you guys so definitely gets a lot of dog hair build up build up in here from the dog coming in and out of the house and the kids in and out from playing because this door goes out to the garage so definitely high traffic area and that needed to be done it has been a while since i've picked that rug up and vacuumed under it so i'm also going to fill up my spin mop bucket with some hot water and the ant fannies lemon floor cleaner it smells so good and i really like how it cleans too so this is definitely one of my favorite mops i do have a steam mop also but i just feel like when i want to do like a super super good scrub i just like to use my spin mop the steam mop does a really good job also the only thing i don't like is that the cord is so short and it has to be plugged in whereas this mop i can just do piping hot water in the mop bucket and it's going to clean a little bit quicker so it just depends on my mood and which mop i decide to grab on that particular day but today we are doing a spin mop and that aunt fanny's cleaner [Music] [Applause] [Music] so round around the world we'll go putting on the greatest show so make sure that you don't miss out just be there oh just be there we're taking [Music] everybody's [Music] [Music] so once i am done mopping i'm just giving you guys a little show of how nasty the mop water was that's just so satisfying to see how dirty the mouth water is after mopping maybe it's just me but i'm like okay that needed to be done i'm so glad i got that done and now i know my floors are sparkling clean but now i'm just gonna grab a load of towels out of the dryer throw those on the couch get some laundry switched around and then we are gonna sit down and fold those towels but that is gonna be it for this video thank you guys so much for watching this i know it wasn't anything crazy or any deep cleaning but this is kind of a day-to-day basis type of clean for me except for mopping i don't do that every single day but thank you guys
