what is up guys tabby here and welcome to a new vlog [Music] okay guys first off i have got to show you my backyard it has been snowing in the south for like the first time in years and we are not prepared for this so this is my backyard but it is still snowing look at my patio furniture that we never sit on yeah okay cat are you trying to escape it's cold kit kat come back in i'm not going out there after you come back okay cat come back it's cold don't you talk back to me come on kitkat come on kitkat it's too cold yes cold back inside come on yeah that's snow kit kat you've probably never seen it before because we don't get it here in the south yeah crazy you came in and then you come back outside i should have closed the door kitkat come back inside i will leave you out here no i won't it's too cold come on kit kat i'm not chasing you i'm legit i'm not gonna come out here for you kitkat oh my god y'all kit kat's escaping this cat is gonna make me go after her kit kat get in here oh my god okay i'm gonna leave the door open and get all my winter stuff on and get kit kat okay well i'm going out here after my cat kitkat [Music] i think she's under the patio furniture get in the house get in the house go go go go you act like you got it bad this cat acts like she's spoiled rotten and you're trying to escape well i guess i should go ahead and go check the mail since i'm all geared up i think the snow is probably to my knees hey you stay this cat look at this let me flip you look at my car y'all completely buried wow i don't know if it's worth it for me to go check my mail surely the mail didn't run today y'all this is the south i mean we say y'all and everything we ain't supposed to live in snow okay so it's not up to my knee but it's like halfway up my leg oh it's so pretty though look at my mailbox y'all that's how much snow we've gotten in the past night like it started again last night to today oh i do have mail wow oh it's a bill so not worth coming out here for you remember when you were a kid and you got excited about mail well now as an adult it's only bills that's all you get is bills what is that what is that ice it's like a big chunk of ice look at my house it's almost like christmas winter wonderland wow y'all i was so not prepared for this weather the kids are still stuck in camden with my husband's parents they had to go this weekend because i worked and he was working as well and now they're stuck down there because the weather's so bad i'm not gonna lie it's kind of nice it's like a vacation but i miss them so much and they would just have so much fun playing in the snow like this will be bella's first year she'll be four this year this will be her first year that snow has actually stuck on the ground and she could actually play in it and i'm so sad that i'm missing her first year playing in snow but yeah i'm still trying to upload a video 92 hours oh 122 hours remaining i think the weather is making my wi-fi so slow i mean it normally takes a couple hours for a video to upload but it's been on four percent since four something so yeah a new video will be up eventually but yeah like i said the kids are in camden calvin's actually at a hotel in little rock uh his job he's a manager at the hospital and his job got him a hotel so he wouldn't have to drive so yeah it's just me and kit kat stuck at home by ourselves i miss my kids it's crazy when your kids are here you're like i need a minute away from you but when they're gone you just miss them so much but i think tonight i'm gonna do some diamond art painting uh i'm about to start a new one so i might show you guys that me unboxing it what it comes with and do all of that i don't know i feel like that might be boring y'all just watching me do diamond art painting i don't know i might show you all a little clip of it though but that's it for now i'm gonna eat some zucchini edit a video and then start on some of my diamond art painting so yeah i'll check in later okay so i have my setup for my diamond art painting so i have my light here which makes it so much easier but this is the diamond art painting that i'm going to do but let's go ahead and see everything that comes in one of these diamond art paintings we have our tool kit and i'll go over that this is the painting and this is like the information sheet with all of the different colors so this one only has 12 colors in it huh so these are all of the diamonds or drill bits um i prefer calling them diamonds but yeah this is let me lower it for this part oh wow okay maybe not this is oh my gosh i don't even think i can get all of this in camera wow i did not realize it was this big holy rabies wow okay but this is what it looks like if i can if you can see it but like i said earlier this is the tool kit it comes with two wax pads some baggies so this is the applicator what you use to put the diamonds on the painting you stick this here this is like the multi-placer you can pick multiple diamonds up with this i've honestly found that this does not work at all uh i do not like doing that and then it comes with a comfort grip to make it a little more comfortable when you're using it if you're anything like me you will be doing this for hours so i really do like that it comes with this comfort grip and it comes with a tray i forgot about that i think this is too small so i got a bigger tray makes it a lot easier and i bought my own magic applicator from diamond art club's website and i love this it doesn't have the grippy thing but it's like shaped very nicely and it's a little thicker i don't know i love this totally worth the money so yeah that's pretty much it to diamond art painting look how massive this is oh my god oh this is gonna take me a while so most of the bottom is black dot black dot so that is 3 10 3 10 where are these [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] do [Music] okay so i've been doing this for over an hour and that's all i've done that is how long it takes to diamond paint wow but i'm on chapter 27 of legend born i'm really enjoying this book there is quite a bit of inner monologue which is kind of getting on my nerves i hate a lot of inner monologue i hate a lot of description like books that are so wordy and like i'm just like okay come on let's go let's move on so i really like the main character bree this is a perfect book for black history month because it does touch on slavery there's one part that i just listened to that just makes me so mad so mad it amazes me that people back then were raised to think somebody was less because of their color it hurts my heart it makes me mad and it hurts my heart to know that people suffered like that just because of their skin color and you know one of my co-workers at work asked me if i was scared of the police for my children because you know my children are mixed i never thought of that of being afraid of the police and i know that's like white privilege or whatever but calvin's never been scared of the police or experienced something like that not saying it doesn't happen obviously we know it does but my co-worker had asked me if we're gonna teach my kids about the police and i don't i can't remember if she was said like to be afraid of the police and i don't want to teach my kids to be afraid of the police i want to teach my kids i mean to respect the police and to be weary of the police i i don't i mean i don't even know like they're still very young and so thankfully we haven't had to think of that or have that discussion with them yet but they had asked me that after everything that had happened last year and you know i never thought of that how we need to teach our children or to teach them to be more hesitant or i don't even know the right word i don't know what i'm trying to say that's so sad to be worried about how to teach your children how they should act around police just because they're mixed or black okay i gotta get off the subject it's gonna make me cry but it's a good book i'm enjoying listening to it i'm over halfway done if you don't know anything about it it's kind of like an uh camelot author retelling it's like the knights of the round table but in today's time but there's even more to that it's not just about the retelling or whatever but it follows brie who is black she's the main character one thing i really don't like about this book though is they made her character so young like she's only 16 and the stuff that she's experiencing there's a little romance in there and fighting demons and magic and all this other stuff i know this is a why a book which is for younger adults but that seems so young like i wish they would have made her at least 18. but it's a good book especially for february black history month so i definitely recommend it and the audiobook is so good because they because of the accent hold on she has a true southern accent i need you to listen not talk listen paige lee he points his pen at me give me five minutes and take a deep breath fine thank you okay so that's a little bit of two people talking but you can hear her accent and it's so fun like the southern georgia accent that was awful okay i'll never do that again but yeah my shoulder is starting to hurt because you literally sit here for hours just moving one shoulder back and forth and again that's all i've done out of this entire thing that's why it takes months and months and months to finish a diamond painting so yeah i think i'm gonna walk move do something luckily i haven't lost power so yay uh it's still snowing though i don't think you can tell because of the light but it's still snowing out there and it's only 805 so i have all night i think i'm gonna get some coffee this kind of sucks because i can't go anywhere or do anything like i normally don't do anything anyway but at least i have the option to go somewhere and do something but now i can't and it's bothering me for some reason i honestly thought about doing a live like on instagram and stuff i don't know why it makes me so nervous like nobody's gonna show up and watch my life like who would and then i'm like what do i say what do i do like i could be doing diamond art painting and talking to y'all i guess i don't know anyway i'm rambling at this point i'm literally doing nothing else but sitting here doing this so yeah this is so entertaining yeah i'm probably just gonna walk around for a minute and then come back and do this but i won't film anymore because that was like an hour and 14 minutes of filming that i'm gonna have to compress into a very short time but i will give you updates later if i finish more and there's kit kat still she's just chilling god my hair okay bye okay so it is 4 42 a.m uh i've been working on this for hours and i'm actually on chapter 50 for legend born so i'm actually going to be done with that pretty soon but this is as far as i've gotten the pretty much the entire bottom legit y'all my shoulder is killing me like right here man so yeah i think i'm done with this for two nights i think if i do any more i will literally be stuck in like a hunched position oh god my muscles are so sore this isn't like a strenuous activity but like legit you are doing the same motion over and over and over for hours but it's coming along i love it it's so much fun and i've just been sitting here listening to this y'all it's about to go down in this book i'm so mad see that's one thing that my husband says like what did you do today and i'm like uh i just went on an adventure went through some romance i mean i i did a lot today i'm emotionally unstable now that's the great thing about books isn't it guys so yeah i'm pretty tired i think i'm gonna call it a night and try to get some sleep but probably tomorrow i will be done with legend born and i will start a new book i don't know what yet good night y'all y'all i'm out of sugar how am i supposed to make coffee of all the times to run out of sugar did y'all like that bad acting right there that would be me in a movie so not an actress but for real though the one time we run out of sugar is when i'm stuck in is when i'm stuck in the house it's okay though because we have hot chocolate and if you guys don't know this i was a barista all through college so i've learned a few tricks if you want kind of a mocha latte kind of thing just throw some hot chocolate packets in your coffee got the hot chocolate now what cup do i use this is my favorite one i actually got this at universal studios in 2012 when i went to uh hogwarts for the first time and only time um and that was part of my honeymoon yes i made that part of my honeymoon y'all i'm so paranoid about my eyebrows okay anyway uh so yeah i need coffee stats um it's actually already dark outside it's six something at night again i sleep during the day i work night shift so i was actually gonna start vlogging like as soon as i woke up but i went ahead and took a shower and changed my clothes to make it appear like i am not disgusting and will wear the exact same clothes for two days if i'm only sitting in the house so you're welcome but i actually need to film tonight i have my wizarding trunk box and a romance book box but y'all look at how messy it is over here like i was taking pictures for my last videos such a mess i have got to clean this up before i start filming but i want to let my hair dry a little bit before i start filming i am still losing tons of freaking hair it's ridiculous i'm gonna be bald in no time it's so bad so i don't want to do any more damage to my hair i don't want to blow dry it i don't want to straighten it so pretty much for my next few videos i'm really just gonna have my hair back in a ponytail got my coffee and i actually need to uh make me some breakfast i might just do my turkey bacon but legit y'all look at this 54 percent it's been like 24 hours and i'm still only at 54 this is driving me bonkers and i got an email from the utility company apparently a fire hydrant or something burst so they're like uh before you drink your water make sure you boil it for a few minutes which is crazy so now i'm terrified to drink our water i wish i would have bought bottled water before all of this happened but i don't have any bottled water that's like the only way i can drink my water boiling i'm so frustrated but thankfully i haven't lost power like i have some candles here in my lighter just in case but thankfully i have not lost power and i kind of ended up lying to you guys uh the last time i was up i was like okay i'm gonna go to bed um i'm gonna stop doing my little diamond painting and go to sleep but i forgot that i had a zoom meeting today with leanda i have mentioned her several times she's a friend of mine and fellow youtuber again if you guys do not follow her go follow her but me and her actually had a zoom meeting because we're working on something and i am so excited like every youtuber says it's a secret project that i can't talk about yet uh but no me and her are actually working on something that i am so so so excited about but i had a meeting with her at 9 00 am and i think when i stopped filming it was almost five so i was like well that's not gonna work so i just stayed awake and finished legend born and worked on some more of my painting let me show you how much more i got done last night or this morning last night to me uh but yeah i got all of this done it's slowly coming up um and i'm gonna work some more on this tonight maybe right now while my hair is drying before i start filming and like i said i finished legend born which the ending y'all i did not see that coming at all like that just knocked me off my feet did not see that coming oh there better be a second book it didn't necessarily leave off on a cliffhanger i mean it kind of did but it kind of didn't it definitely left you wanting more there's definitely more to the story there's definitely more that we have to know so there better be a second book oh such a good book though and i just got a new book on audible because i'm obsessed with audible y'all inheritance game i just bought this this morning i have not started it it's 10 hours and 45 minutes um but from ow [Music] okay well i just knocked the crap out of my knee on the table you're welcome from the description that i read it's about a girl who like somehow inherits like billions of dollars from this guy she does not know but the only way she can claim it is she has to go to his like estate and he apparently loves like riddles and puzzles and he has three sons i think it was sons three and they're like i don't i don't know the whole thing but it sounded so good it had a little romance in there a little mystery and that is what i'm gonna read tonight when i'm doing my diamond painting but like i said i do need to film i'll look completely awful but you know i'm for real thinking about getting a pixie cut i'm for real thinking about just chopping my hair off i had a pixie cut back in the day and i loved it but i had to get my hair cut so often because my hair grows so fast or well at least it did um back then so like i had to get my hair cut like every four weeks like every month or three weeks because my hair grows so fast and if you have a pixie cut it only looks good if it's the like style it you want it to be but man i remember the growing out phase for my pixie cut was awful awful so that's the only thing that's like you don't really want a pixie cut i don't know i don't know guys but yeah i'm gonna call my kids and talk to them and then i think i'm gonna diamond paint some while my hair dries and then i'll let you guys see my setup for when i do unboxing videos so yeah lots to see tonight hopefully hopefully tonight will be productive and there's kitkat she's still here hasn't tried to escape again yeah i'm talking about you she does not care okay i'll check in later guys bye i just got off the phone with the kids and bella was crying and it's just breaking my heart she's like i went home i miss mommy and daddy i went home and i'm like so hard like a part of me just wants to get in my car and just go get them but i know i would never make it in my car which is stuck in the driveway now it's buried okay well that was just the update i'm just really sad now you hate seeing your kids sad or crying makes you sad so yeah that was hard i thought i lied i'm actually about to try and straighten my hair because it looked so bad like so bad in the ponytail on camera so i'm gonna try and straighten it and hopefully it doesn't rip out a lot of my hair but i'm going to straighten my hair when soon as that straightener heats up but i got everything set up i cleaned over here these are the two boxes i have these which you'll see hopefully a video soon um so yeah i got it all nice and pretty had to vacuum so yeah now i just need to look decent enough to film so i just finished recording my unboxing video for the wizarding trunk so that will hopefully be up soon if i can ever upload videos again but yeah that took an hour and a half and i really wanted to film at least at least three videos tonight i have another box in another video i wanted to do but i am so tired like i don't know why guys but i like just feel exhausted and my neck is still killing me from last night honestly i just feel like laying on my couch and watching a movie so i think i might do that that took me so long to record because my brain is just not here right now like my brain has checked out i'm just so exhausted and i don't know why like i slept all day like i should not be tired but i am tired honestly this kind of feels like how i felt when i first got pregnant that is terrifying because i can barely eat enough for me just imagine if i had to try and eat enough for a baby now i'm like worried i have an iud so i know i'm not pregnant right i'm not but yeah on that note i think i'm gonna go ahead and end this vlog right here and watch a movie and lay on my couch and be lazy that get to a point where i don't want to film because i'm so self-conscious about my hair like i know like you guys aren't like that you would understand like most of my subscribers but i mean it's i don't know but yeah i just finished cleaning up over here and now it's a mess again
