all right guys welcome back to another reaction video my name is James and today we are going to be watching Shrek 2. so I am super excited I have heard Legend of this movie I've never seen this movie you've seen this movie I've never seen this movie I'm super excited Shrek one was iconic Shrek 2 I've heard people talk about it like it's like Empire strike like it's like all the sequel sequels sort of thing I don't know maybe it's over hyped I've heard good things about this as a sequel um I'm very excited also uh I don't really know what to do with the rest of the Shrek franchise so let us know in the comments if you guys want to should we watch the other Shrek movies or yeah I haven't seen anything else I don't know just let us know I you know sometimes franchises people are like bail the rest of them I don't know let us know in the comments um but yeah I'm I'm very excited I kind of want to just get straight into this one Shrek one was amazing so let's get into Shrek 2. as always the Innovations but I'm kind of curious who the villain is going to be because we had like Farquaad but Far Cry got knocked out yeah and that was kind of like it was actually a very well contained story so I'm kind of like where are we going here because with a frightful enchantment that took hold each and every night so this is like her origin Vans will await the kiss of the handsome prince Charlie wait what is Journey Through blistering cold and scorching desert well this is epic but this is kind of cool what what is happening here this is some retelling of History I think be bravest the freaking hair under that oh here we go where'd the glow come from he's break should have known of course it's Prince Charming got some curtains to find her what Princess Fiona I was gonna say he's like narrating his whole where is she she's on her honeymoon honeymoon with whom oh yeah baby damn hey this song dude coming again with the legendary music choices oh that's sick hansel's honeymoon like Hansel and Gretel that's cool that's the one thing that makes me very like excited is the whole like uh knowing the stuff now yeah yeah yeah yeah they're like did she bring us food this is perfect okay what the uh on your honeymoon bro it's like Lord of the Rings oh yeah look at the ring the shot I like that we're doing more than just fairy tales we're just like making fun of everything well as you just leave them alone oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah I forgot she's got the moves karate let's not think about all the port fairies we've trapped where's the dragon yeah what are you doing this kind of like a funny thing like all these shots are kind of like that's why I like it I love the landscape the Kingdom of Far is naturally very far far away I'm just so done well find a way to entertain yourself also the animation is looking real clean we got like stubble on Shrek and everything over here oh yeah loving the detail here I I understand donkey like he's driving me crazy dude and it's been five minutes five minutes oh my gosh Scotty stop it bro stop it [Music] oh yeah that's like Hollywood oh yeah dude I love the music choices oh my God palm trees dude there's a Starbucks yeah there's like a limbo wagon thing dude he's cleaning the horses instead of like your windshield dude this is so the attention to detail for these like jokes and stuff it's so on point yeah I don't know how well this is gonna go guys oh my gosh we have like a welcoming party and we didn't say anything bro what this is gonna go so terribly yeah and that's what I'm wondering is like did they look oh big the big bad wolf dang that is just absolutely epic that was so cool is that not just a just a fun that was amazing fun movie dude what the heck that was insane yeah that was you can't beat that sorry sorry to the first movie it's not I don't even blame them it's just that you can't beat that I I think like well the first movie is good it felt a little more like um a little more parody and kind of like now that you said like you know what you know the whole DreamWorks does anything she was a little more like that was their main priority rather than the story the story came kind of like second second even though it still happened um yeah right I agree I agree this movie came into its own and it found its own sort of like story yeah and storyline I thought it was cool I I actually think this was funnier than the first movie uh it's just it was just so well done the the animation was cool I liked the character Arc uh the stuff they were parenting I thought was fine I was just it was all really well done yeah and I think the the character introduction um or the new characters that they introduced oh really good perfect the villain was like five times better at this movie the last movie I love the uh Fairy Godmother yeah of course I like the way they did the whole Hollywood thing like that was just perfect um the some of the musical montages in this were just so spot-on this is even shorter I honestly think the story was a little bit cleaner yeah than the first movie um this was just absolute Masterpiece so yeah I don't know let us know what you guys think in the
