Re-organizing my 2,000+ Nail Polishes AGAIN

the things you do to entertain yourself when you haven't left the house in six [Music] months well hello everyone it's me christine again a few months ago at the start of quarantine i reorganized my entire nail polish collection into rainbow order because i was bored i needed a change and i just really like rainbows it's been a few months now and i realized that i hate it the problem is i can't add to it when i get new nail polishes without having to move everything like if i get a new aqua polish then i need to move all these blue polishes and then the yellow polishes and then the orange polishes and the pink polishes above it in order to make room so i've learned that this rainbow organization arrangement only makes sense if you never plan on expanding your nail polish collection but my nail polish collection will never stop growing so this just isn't a practical arrangement for me i've just been piling boxes and boxes of new nail polish on the ground so i need to do something about this i just feel like i'm not gonna be okay until i fix this problem so today i'm going to reorganize my entire collection of over 2000 bottles of nail polish again back to the way it was before yeah which is organizing first by brand and then by collection or finish and then by color and this also means i can put my holo taco polishes front and center right where i can see them and where i can find them because right now they're just all over the place or in these boxes it's getting ridiculous i'm gonna put the polish brands i use the most at the bottom because i'm short so it's easiest to reach down here and at the very top of my shelves i'll put polishes that i infrequently or basically never use such as nail polishes i got from the drugstore years ago that are probably too crusty to open or use but i save them anyways because i have attachment issues and i just can't bring myself to throw out anything so it's gonna be a long day eat your oats get your tea put on some royalty-free music and let's get ready to reorganize the simply edit clear the way [Music] simply oh you scared me can you get another cat bed it's actually can you get it like five more cat beds thanks for the tea okay okay [Music] did you hire someone to do this like sophia like hiring a professional organizer who organizes all my stuff i don't think sophia would be willing to do this even for money no no she hired people to oh i thought you said like hire somebody you should just take them off the shelves and then put it back on one right what do you think i'm doing it'll be easier if you just took everything off the shelf and then just put it back one right but i don't have room on this floor for everything on this wall there's not enough room remember last time we can move the cat off the table [Music] just don't break any this time please could we get rid of something no how many nail polishes do you hold in one hand at the same time i don't like this game spider-man spider-man does whatever a holocamer why do you have so many hollow tacos should you save some for the customers like how i'm gonna clean these shelves of the dust that's accumulated for months and then i'm gonna put all this cat hair covered nail polish back on the shelf so yeah you like spending time with me i'll come back in a bit [Music] see y'all later back would you leave princess peach i don't actually know what i'm looking at anymore welcome to my life what time is it time to go no oh also ben and i were talking upstairs and we've realized that christine is treating us like a casino and she's not letting me know what time of day it is outside and she's likely pumping oxygen through the vents right now at like a casino so we're going to win the jackpot this is when we finish this is nice we're in the jackpot this is like the loser's side you're exactly right jen what are you doing taking a break are you discouraged yeah this is never fun i mean that's what i said last time but then it ended why did you do it again because i hated it jen i don't think you understand but give me another box so i can get rid of stuff you'll notice a sally hansen give me another box once this is clear i can put one of these beds oh no you don't get it what don't you forget the chicken or the egg what the chicken the nail polish of the shelf the cat bed or the shower you 000 something bottles at this point but there's a lady in germany who has over 11 000 bottles of nail polish and this is the craziest part she's not a youtuber or a social media person or anything she's just a regular lady living in hamburg germany who just really loves nail polish she's just a professional collector and i aspire to be at her level with the collection so big i wonder does she have any hollow taco carolyn if you're watching this video hit me up i'll send you some holo taco and help you grow your collection [Music] i think the brand i have the most nail polish of is fun lacquer now you're like why isn't it hollow taco but holo taco has only been in business for just over a year so but i think of brands that have been around a while i have the most fun lacquers and that's partly because i was on pr early on like five years ago with her and she continues to send me all of her collections which isn't the case for other nail polish companies they kind of stop sending me their stuff which is fine like i don't always promote it when i get it so there's never a promise of that so if you don't want to send me your stuff because you don't think i'll promote it then that's fine you know save it for the customers i totally understand and i i don't care but there are some indies that i have so much respect for um just in part because they maintained a positive relationship with me despite me launching my own branch and i'm not going to get into it because i need to focus but i did talk about this in one of our simply logical podcast episodes so if you want aesthetically confusing looks like i'm gonna have to separate my essie bottles into short and fat bottles and tall and skinny bottles just like society does with people don't do that i didn't mean to cleaning baby but in october spooky cleaning season [Music] hi diy polish anyone remember that time i made my own nail polish and it wasn't hollow taco i think i'm going to have to make one section of the shelf just be for my experiments including such as when i mixed all my hollows together yeah i mixed 500 hollows together to get this color i'm just kidding watch a video i have some of the black owned nail polish brands that i bought recently and i posted those on instagram as they came in adore her nails why yes i do and here's an example of new nail polish that has just been sitting in a bag that i haven't put on my shelves because i just couldn't fit them into the rainbow see and that cannot happen [Music] anymore did you ever just move your neck and then you just hear everything in
