I usually judge Sims packs pretty heavily
based on the world they come with. Having new worlds and new lots and new places
to go makes such a huge difference in this game. And for that reason, the world is a really big
deciding factor in whether or not I like a pack. It's been a while since I went through and
tried to rank all of the worlds in The Sims 4, and you know what, we have a lot of them. I didn't even realize that
we had 23 worlds total now. And I guess a couple of
those maybe shouldn't count, like the Star Wars world
barely counts as a real world. We have a really, really long list
of Sims worlds to look at today. And hopefully my thoughts on this might help
you decide if a pack is worth it or not. Keeping in mind, this is just my opinion and
things that I might like, you might hate. We all have different opinions
and different preferences. So I made a little tier list
and I'll link this down below in case you want to go and try it for yourself. We've got all of the world icons down
here and a couple different categories to sort them in, ranging from top tier to useless. And I'm gonna go through each of
the worlds and talk about them and compare them and we'll figure out
which ones I think are the best. If I'm being honest, I'm pretty confident
about which worlds I think are the worst, but I'm not sure which one I would
class as my all-time favorite, so I guess that's what this whole video is for. I don't really understand how this tier maker
Works because I uploaded these photos in order and now they are out of order down here, but
I'm just gonna start with the base game worlds. I don't really have a lot of bad
things to say about Willow Creek, I honestly play in Willow Creek a lot. It's kind of like a default for me. I don't think
I should spend too much time discussing what it comes with because I think at this point
we're all pretty familiar with this one. I think I might rank it all the way up at
really good, just because I use it so much. I don't think it's one of their best worlds, it's probably somewhere in between good
and decent, but I just use it all the time. Oasis Springs is the other original base
game world and I use this one a lot less. I think I'm just not really that into the
desert and I prefer like, greener areas. I don't think it's bad, but
I'm gonna put it in decent. And then we got Newcrest which
came in a base game update, and it was a huge deal to finally have more lots. Obviously major downside is that
Newcrest is completely empty, but also that can be a plus because there's
a bunch of empty lots for you to build in. It's just annoying to have to refill
Newcrest in every single save. I do really love how close together
all of the lots are though. That's a big complaint I have about some more
recent worlds, I hate how spread out things are. I want to live like, right next to my neighbor, I feel like the lots being close
together are super realistic. There isn't really a whole lot going on
in the environment around the lots either, but I just like having this space so much. I would probably put Newcrest up at really good too, but maybe a little bit less good
than Willow Creek because it's empty. You can really tell from these
icons that Newcrest is sort of like, an extension of Willow Creek almost. The vibes are very similar of
the environment around the lots. And I would actually say the same thing goes for
Magnolia Promenade, this is the first pack world. Magnolia Promenade came with Get to
Work and it's basically just like, an extension of Willow Creek, but it's
like, the shopping district part of it. And Magnolia Promenade is kind of a
flop world, it only came with four lots. There's three retail lots and one empty lot. This is by far the worst pack world we have
ever gotten because it's literally just like, one tiny area with four lots on it. I never come here, I never use this.
I don't even really bother shopping at these stores either, so it just
is kind of an afterthought for me. I think if we didn't have Magnolia
Promenade, I probably wouldn't even care. Like, if it went away tomorrow, I
don't think I would miss it very much. It's cute, it's nice to have more lots, it's just so small and so similar to Willow
Creek that it doesn't really stand out. Nobody's going out and buying Get to Work because
they really want to move to Magnolia Promenade. I'm kind of leaning towards
putting this one in useless. It's just objectively one of the worst
worlds we have in the whole of The Sims 4, but after Get to Work, we got Get Together and Get Together has what I think is one
of the best worlds in The Sims 4. This is Windenburg and
Windenburg came with 27 lots, this is one of the biggest
worlds in the whole game. And I really like this sort of Tudor
style of it. I also really appreciate how there's kind of a downtown area and then
within that there's an older part of town, a newer part of town, there's kind of
a countryside, there's even an island, like there's just so much
going on in this one world. There is just so much happening here,
so many places to live and places to go. We've got a couple new lot types. And I think things like the café are a lot
more useful than a retail store. Windenburg has always been one of my all-time
favorite worlds, like top top top tier. This is the kind of world that I
think people would buy Get Together just to have, which is the complete
opposite of Get to Work's world. And then we have San Myshuno from City Living and this one is pretty cool too because it's
so different from anything else we have. I've got some complaints about San Myshuno, I really wish that a lot of the
apartments were a little bit different. I feel like some of them are way
too big, the walls are too tall, but the fact that it has apartments
at all and it has these sort of cool, distinct different neighborhoods, there's always
different events going on, I feel like this world is really fun to play in and I find myself
coming here a lot, even if I don't live in it. And I can't say the same for
a lot of the other worlds, like I don't just go to Glimmerbrook for no
reason, but I do go to San Myshuno all the time. I think San Myshuno is
probably also top tier for me. And again with this one, I think that
people do buy City Living just to get the world because the whole pack's
gameplay revolves around the world. There's just a lot of cool things to do, and you know what, I wish so badly
that we had apartments in more worlds. Only one other pack came with apartments
and I love playing in apartments, so City Living is really high up
there for me just for that reason. And then after a couple of
my favorite worlds ever, we have Forgotten Hollow, which is the
world that came with the vampires pack. And Forgotten Hollow is
really, really small as well. This one is hard for me because it's kind
of nice to have a creepy world sometimes. I like to build graveyards for
my Sims and I often put them on this lot so I use it for that, but I
don't really play with vampires ever, and even if you do play with
vampires, there's nothing to do here. The world is so small, it's just the five lots
and it's just this little tiny town square. A lot of the other worlds have sort of
big open areas around that you can go to, but this one is literally
just the tiny town square. And I think when you compare Forgotten Hollow
to the other occult worlds, specifically if you compare it to Moonwood Mill from the werewolves
pack, it's just such a huge difference. This one is small too, it's
a small amount of lots, but it has two community lots already by
default so there's more reason to come here. And there's just so much more going
on, like there isn't lots over here, but your Sims can still go
around in this whole area. You can like, come back here
to this cabin and see Greg, you can climb to the top of this mountain,
there's tunnels you can go through. Back here in the forest and back here in the
town center there's like, pack leader areas, so they're not technically lots, but it's
still a space that you can go and visit, which the vampires pack just does not have. It makes me sad about Forgotten Hollow
because I feel like if the vampires pack was like the werewolves one,
it would be so much cooler. But you know what, I think I'm gonna
rank Forgotten Hollow as useless, just because it's so small and it's such a
specific reason that you would play there. I never have my average Sim live there,
you know? But while we're here talking, I think I might put the
werewolves pack up at decent. Which is a high ranking
considering how small it is. But Moonwind Mill has so much more to do,
there's like, actually story and lore, there's detailed spaces to go and visit, it's
way better compared to the other occult worlds. And I guess speaking of occult
worlds, the other one is Glimmerbrook. This one is from the Realm of
Magic pack and Glimmerbrook is one of my least favorite
worlds they have ever made. I have such conflicting opinions about
this one because again, it's really small, but they all don't have many lots so
that isn't really a huge downside. There's just not anything to do in
the environment around here either, it at least has a bar which helps. And then Glimmerbrook came with a secret lot like, back here if you travel through this portal,
you can go to that weird magic realm area. And the magic realm is cool, but all of the
builds in this pack really, really ruin it for me. I would consider Glimmerbrook to
be a part of The Sims 4's flop era, they had this phase where all of
their worlds were really, really bad. And it's not so much the world environment, like I really like all of the area around
here, I think this place is beautiful. I actually have my Sims live here
sometimes just because it's really pretty, but the default lots, I just think are so ugly. It's really hard for me to want to
live here, and they've got issues too, like one of them's got a staircase to nowhere,
it's just stairs that go up into a wall. It feels like in this era of the Sims, they
weren't playtesting, there wasn't a lot of effort put into the builds, and that really
makes it hard for me to like Glimmerbrook. I'm not gonna put it at useless because
I actually do live there sometimes, but I'm gonna put it in not great and
it's at the bottom of not great, okay? It's like, borderline useless to me. If it were
bigger and if the default lots were better, I'd probably rank it higher because
I really do like how it looks, there's just not a lot to do when
you're there, and when you compare that to some of the other newer worlds,
it just kind of isn't their best work. I'm gonna skip over Cats and Dogs for
a second and go to Del Sol Valley which came with Get Damous because Del Sol
Valley is also part of their flop era. Cats and Dogs did better, but Del Sol
Valley was really, really, really bad. I think part of what I don't like about this
world is that I wish it was a little bit different because I really feel like this would
have been a great opportunity to have apartments. Sort of similar to the apartments
that we got in Eco Lifestyle, how they had a couple buildings
that had some small apartments, I feel like this sort of thing would
have fit really well in Del Sol Valley. And I had mentioned earlier how much I like when lots are small and sort of
right on top of each other. These lots back here in the starter home area
are very close together, but they're huge. This one is 50 by 40. I don't want a 50 by 40 lot. I want like, three 20 by 15
lots really close together. The mansion area has so
much potential because like, the view from the top of the hill is
so pretty, but the builds are so ugly. How is this the fanciest
mansion in the entire game? This is supposed to be one of the nicest
houses in all of The Sims 4, are you joking? And look at how beautiful the area around
it is, it just -- the house does not fit. This house is the most embarrassing though
because look at this, they forgot to add toilets. This bathroom, no toilet. The two bathrooms
over here, neither one has a toilet. So when I say it seems like they didn't playtest them -- how do you forget
a toilet in the bathrooms? I actually can't even look at
this, but this is the museum. This I think is my least favorite
lot in all of The Sims 4. It is so unbelievably horrifying to me,
this alone almost ruins Get Famous for me. I'm really not trying to be dramatic, I just feel
like the world had so much potential and then they just didn't meet it at all because I love the
idea of this sort of Los Angeles inspired world, there's some beautiful mansions, and it just --
it doesn't really meet my expectations for it. If they were to redo Del Sol Valley now in
2023, I feel like it would be so much better. Del Sol Valley makes me actually mad so
I'm putting it down at the very bottom. Like, to me, Del Sol Valley is
useless. Maybe not the worst of the useless worlds, but to me, it's useless. I skipped Brindleton Bay though and Brindleton Bay came with Cats and Dogs and this
one is one of my favorite worlds. I play here all the time. It's got quite a few
lots and a good variation in the size of lots. And I feel like this is a good example of
there being a lot to do in the environment, but it not being so spread out and
big that it's hard to play with. I'll talk more about that when we get
to San Sequoia, the most recent world, but I like how Brindleton Bay has kind of some
places to walk around, you can walk your dog. Over here on this island there's
a museum, but the whole island is open for you to walk around in, you
can even woohoo in the lighthouse. There's almost like a fake
beach down here in this section, there's kind of like, some
boardwalk space over here. It does rain a lot if you have
Seasons which kind of sucks, but I do find myself playing
in Brindleton Bay all the time. I think I'd probably rank Brindleton
Bay up at top tier as well, but maybe above San Myshuno and below Windenburg. Cats and Dogs is also just one of my
all-time favorite packs in general, but I think this world is absolutely
beautiful and it's really useful for gameplay. But we're going back into the
flop era because now we have Strangerville and Strangerville has the
same problem with the houses being so bad. It's so jarring because the actual
environment I feel like is really beautiful and it's kind of cool how
much story they have going on here. The story is also kind of a downside because
there's like, literally possessed people walking around town, but considering it's
a game pack, this is a pretty big world. I mean this is more than twice the
size of Magnolia Promenade that came with a full expansion pack, right, so
this is a really nice world to have. It's really cool and it's really detailed as
well, this neighborhood I think is just amazing. I love this trailer park section they have,
there's an actual tiny lot inside of it. This plane crash lot is such a cool idea, the
Sim like, lives in a bunker underneath the plane. Great concept, right? The problem
is it doesn't function. Your Sims can't cook on this corner counter,
they can cook on corner counters, this one is just not angled right so
they can't cook on this corner counter. And there's a fruit bowl on the only other
counter, so your Sims literally cannot cook here. If this fruit bowl was here it would be fine, but it's here instead so by
default your Sims can't cook. And this kind of thing, these like little details,
the forgetting of toilets, the broken counters, this stuff really bothers me because I play
The Sims a lot and I know what the problem is, I can see the issue, I can fix it, but I think
the average Sims player, some kid maybe who got The Sims for their birthday, if they came
in here and tried to play in this really, really cool plane crash house, they might not
be able to figure out why it doesn't work. So it might seem like I'm complaining for
no reason, but honestly it really bothers me how they would sell this pack and ship this
world that doesn't work or is objectively bad. This is kind of funny too, this
is one of the base game starter homes just with some new paint
colors and some new columns. This really bothered me when it first happened. I was really mad, they like, slightly
refurnished an existing base game starter home. And I get it because they were
using some of the other shells, it matches the neighbors houses, but come on. This was also pre-console
having access to the gallery, so people couldn't really easily
replace it or get new things. And you shouldn't have to replace it or get new
things, you're buying this pack because you want a new world and you want to have new stuff, and then
they're just reusing a base game starter home! Everybody has this twice now. I will say,
I like how close it is to the other lots. This part of the town where it looks
like everything's quite close together, this is a good example of me not
being that bothered by shell houses. Sometimes they bug me, but I like
this starter home neighborhood a lot. Strangerville, I am putting you up at not great. I like how big it is, I like the environment,
it's just so hard -- the world itself, the actual gameplay features of the
world, the new lots, aren't good. After Strangerville we have Sulani
which is the Island Living world. And this one honestly is really cool. I feel like the actual gameplay from this pack isn't
groundbreaking, but the world is so cool. So it's got 15 lots, it's pretty big, and the cool part is a lot of the lots are
partially on land and partially in the water. We don't have anything else
like this in the entire game. There's a couple like, hinted beach things,
like that sort of beach area in Brindleton Bay, Tartosa kinda has a beach, but this is the only
pack where you can actually build on the water. So for example in this starter home,
there's a bit of sand in the front and then it overhangs back into the
water in the back half of the lot. And then obviously you can do water
activities and play around in this whole area. We've been talking this whole time about
how it's cool when worlds have like, things to do in the environment. Sulani is the definition of having
things to do in the environment. You can swim in like, all of this open water, Sulani is by far I think the most
unique world we have for The Sims 4. I think this is the kind of pack you would
buy just because the world is so cool. I will say that I don't usually find
myself living in Sulani very often, but I do bring my Sims here to visit it a lot. And whenever I think about packs being
worthwhile, I always think about replayability. Because for example, Strangerville is fun, but you might only play with that
gameplay once, whereas like Dine Out, even if it's a little bit glitchy, you might
bring your Sims to restaurants constantly. I think Sulani fits very naturally
as a destination into my game, I go to the beach all the time, I want
to go swimming, I want to do sandcastles. It's really pretty, I really,
really do like Sulani. I don't think I'd rank it as top
tier, but it's definitely really good, and definitely better than
like, Willow Creek and Newcrest. Now we're on to Britechester which came
with university and this one is so weird. This is also part of the dlop era
so all the builds are really bad. Larry's Lagoon, the student union from Foxbury, is also one of my least favorite
builds in the entirety of The Sims 4. I just think that this is embarrassing,
this is supposed to be like, the main hub of the whole school and it's so empty
and so large, and the roof is just weird. This could have been done so much better. But then all of this out here, like the
university campus itself is so cool. I also think the storyline here with the
two rival universities is really fun. We have the more modern Foxbury Institute, and then the really old traditional
University of Britechester. There's kind of a downtown
with a library and a bar, they also brought back the Pleasant family from
some of the older Sims games, but this world, to me, is so specific for when you're playing
university, I don't come here outside of that. Like, if I don't have a Sim enrolled in college,
I'm not going to be hanging out in Britechester. So while it's good for the purpose it serves, I don't think that in comparison to all of the
other worlds, it's like one of the better ones. I'm kind of torn between decent and not
great, but I think I might put it in not great just because the builds -- I had to
rebuild everything to even play with it. All of the middle packs for The
Sims 4 suffer from that problem. And then there's Evergreen Harbor
from Eco Lifestyle and this one's kind of cool because it has these features
where you can actually change the world. You can vote in these neighborhood action
plans to update the town essentially. There's like a beautifying project
that can happen in the neighborhoods. So there's gameplay involved with like,
trying to rally people to vote for it. It's also got these cool community space
lot types that can also grow and change. By default, they're kind of gross obviously
one because it's from The Sims 4's flop era, but also it's supposed to be
because there's trash everywhere. And then you can vote to like,
make it a community garden instead, and then it would change to look like this. And I think that this feature alone
is really, really, really exciting. This one also has apartments and it's the only world aside from San Myshuno
that has apartments in it. There's two buildings, this
one's got two apartments and then this one over here also has two apartments. And I am so desperate for more apartments in The
Sims, I would love if more packs had apartments. They are so fun to play in and it's so realistic
too because so many people live in apartments. It's actually kind of weird how
few apartments we have in The Sims. I'm torn between decent and really good, but I think the fact that it has apartments
might push it up to really good for me. We just don't have anything else like that really. Okay, but moving on to Mount Komorebi, I have
to be honest, I have a bias for this world. Snowy Escape was the first pack they worked
with content creators to make the builds for. They essentially commissioned people to
make lots for the game, which in my opinion, makes them so much better than the
other ones from previous packs. I'm a little bit biased because I was one of the people they asked to build for the
pack, so I made three of these lots. I made this starter home,
I made this townies house, and I made this big mansion
down here in the corner. But those aren't my favorite lots of the pack
honestly, I think the other ones are a lot better. I feel like this stems just from me having spent
so much time staring at them, I've like, grown to not like my own builds, but some of the other
lots that come in Mount Komorebi are so beautiful. And it's cool because this is the only pack
that has a weather system aside from Seasons. So even if you don't have Seasons,
this mountain top is always snowy. The rest of it isn't affected if you don't
have seasons, but up here, no matter what, it's always snowy and there's like,
snowstorms and stuff going on. Which makes sense because this is like, the peak of the mountain where you can
ski and everything so it has to have snow, but we don't have any other worlds where the
weather is different inside of the world. Usually if it's raining in one
place, it's raining everywhere, but here the snow is only on the mountain. It's also very multi-purpose because you can
come here and you can ski and everything, you can stay in a vacation, you can
visit an onsen, you can go to the park. I mean there's a lot of stuff to do even
if you don't live here, and the environment has so much going on, there's like, walking
trails, there's obviously all of the skiing. There's mountain climbing, there's like a secret lot at the top of the mountain and your
Sims can fall off the mountain and die. I feel like Mount Komorebi is also very, very, very unique compared to a lot
of the other worlds we have. Both in style and gameplay, I
just -- I think it's really good. I'm gonna put it all the way up at top
tier actually, which is surprising me even, but the more I think about it,
especially compared to other worlds, it just feels bigger, there's more to do,
the lots are cool, there's a lot of lots. And also they asked me to build for it, so
it kind of holds a special place in my heart, but even aside from that, I think it holds up. And then we got Henford-on-Bagley, and
Henford-on-Bagley is a beautiful little farm town. I don't even need to defend myself, I am a farmer. Listen, I am obsessed with farming in games.
If there's a farming mechanic in a game, you can guarantee I've played it. Stardew Valley is like, one
of my top favorite games ever, so when they added farming
into The Sims, I was thriving. This world also has a lot of
storyline and lore happening with it. There's a mayor, there's like, some
people working in the grocery stalls, there's even a random guy who lives out
in a fake shell of a house in the woods. And as you're talking to the townies, they'll kind of tell you little details
and stories and secrets about the town. And I really like it when worlds
have that sort of thing going on, when they have more depth to them and it
feels like people actually live there. You can't really say that about
a lot of the other worlds. Like, for example there isn't
really any depth to Glimmerbrook, it's just like, a nice wooded series of houses. But Henford-on-Bagley has a little
downtown, there's some farmlands, there's like, a forest you
can wander around through. The Scott family in this house owns the bar
and they're always working behind the counter. There's not really detail like that in any
of the other worlds, there's just like, some random townie working at the bar, you know? So the lore is what really sells
it for me, I feel like that to me makes Henford-on-Bagley really, really good. Probably one of the best of really good. And then after Henford-on-Bagley we
got Tartosa and I think Tartosa is a weird one because this was the only good thing
about Wedding Stories when it first came out. The pack was totally broken,
but the world is really cool. First of all, it's got nine lots
and compared to other game packs, that's like, twice the size of the Vampires world. It has this kind of cool
downtown area, there's a beach. Back here there's another beach by the waterfall. It's just really beautiful to walk around, it's got a vacation lot so it's
a cool spot to come and visit. The builds were all done by
Simmers so they're really nice. One problem that I feel like I have
with Tartosa is that it's so spread out. It's kind of hard to explain
because it is good that it's big, there's five lots in this neighborhood,
but they're all really spread out. They're kind of all around the
outskirts of this downtown area, and there's a big open part with these
fake buildings that you can walk around. You can buy food and like, wedding cake
and flowers from little stalls around here, but because it's so big and so
spread out, it feels quite empty. Like, I don't really ever
see any Sims in this area. There's kind of a balance they have to find
where like, doing the downtown is cool and having it big is cool, but it can't be
too big because then it feels weird. Because other worlds like Brindleton
Bay have little downtown areas too, but it's a little bit closer together
in Brindleton Bay so it doesn't feel as spread out and the Sims are all more concentrated. So the same number of Sims visiting
Brindleton Bay will feel more lively than in Tartosa because I can
actually see them all at once. That's not like, a dealbreaker, it is just
kind of a weird downside of this pack. Tartosa is by far one of the
best of all the game pack worlds, and it's definitely the biggest
selling point of My Wedding Stories. Copperdale came with High School Years
and this is one of the newest worlds. Some of the worlds in this
game have really bizarre lighting and I think Copperdale is one of them. Everything seems kind of green here. I
didn't point it out about all the other ones because I didn't want to be like,
too complainy, but I always think it. Some of the worlds just are really weird. There's not really a good time of day I don't
think to build here because it always looks odd, but they have this little fairgrounds
area, this part isn't actually a lot, but you can bring your Sims there
and they can ride the rides. It's all just rabbit holes, like you can't
actually see them on the ferris wheel, they just go in there and disappear. It is really cool to get to do
though, and it has a high school. An active high school that can
be a little bit glitchy at times. It also has a little downtown area.
There's a lot to do here with the fair, there's places to walk
around, you can go thrifting. Now that I'm thinking about it ,I probably
shouldn't have put Willow Creek in really good. I'm putting Willow Creek down to decent, and then I'll put Copperdale in really
good because I like this world a lot. Even just the map, like I think
this is so, so, so pretty. And then after Copperdale we got San Sequoia which
came in the most recent pack, Growing Together. And I do have some bias towards Growing Together
because I built lots for this pack as well. I built this starter home, I built the rec center, and then I built this townies
house up in the top right corner. San Sequoia really, really struggles with the
spread out problem that we talked about before. There's a whole bunch going on over here,
there's like a movie theater rabbit hole your Sims can go to, there's all kinds of
places to walk, there's like, pathways. But everything is so far apart
that it feels really empty. And then down here in the neighborhoods
-- oh my gosh, I want to like this so bad, but I really, really don't
like it when they do it. I think that this lot is great,
first of all, I built it which helps. There's a kind of cute park back here,
you can walk all around this pond, but I hate when they make these neighborhoods
of all these fake shells, and nobody lives here. The next real house is all the way
down here like, many houses down. I wish that the real houses were
more concentrated closer together. It's just a little bit weird when there's
all these fake places right next to me. I understand they have to put some
fake places, but I like it better when they're a little bit farther away
and the real ones are closer together. It also kind of I think traps
you in a bit of a build style as well because you've got 10 houses
that all look the same around you, it's kind of hard to build something
there that doesn't look like that. Obviously you can, but to me it
just feels like it's out of place. So I like San Sequoia, I like the builds, I like the style of it, I love
the different neighborhoods. And this is such a bizarre criticism, but
I almost wish it were a little bit smaller. Not less lots, but like, the open
world I wish was a little bit smaller. I know, I sound ridiculous saying
that. Imagine wishing for less space. San Sequoia just isn't one of my favorite places. I've been playing it a lot recently because
it's new, but I'm only gonna put in a decent. I thought I would like it a lot more, it just really hasn't cemented
itself as one of my favorite worlds. We've got three worlds left though,
all three of the vacation worlds. And I saved these for last because they're
just not gonna be up high, are they? You can't even live here if you wanted to. The first one is Granite Falls and this one
came with Outdoor Retreat, it's a camping space. There's two neighborhoods, there's kind of like a national park in the back that's
all just trees you can walk around. There's also a secret lot you can
get to from here and then there's five little camping sites kind
of in a circle around this trail. A few cabins and like, an empty campground.
For what it is, it's pretty good. It's got a decent number of lots, there's lots of
trails to walk around, there's bugs to collect. There's just not really that
much to do because I mean, you've come here to fish
and like garden basically. So there's a lot of fishing spots,
there's a lot of grills and fire pits, but nothing really groundbreaking
happens in Granite Falls. It's pretty, I like the concept. I have some fond memories of it too because it
was the first pack for The Sims 4 so I was like, obsessed when it first came out, but I think in
hindsight, I'd probably rank it at not great. It's fine, it does the job, it's just
not really high up there, you know? And then we got Selvadorada with Jungle Adventure and this one you can already
tell is a lot more interesting. There's this really cool gameplay feature where you can travel through these gates and
then try to explore different parts. You see all the question marks that are
popping up? You can get there by exploring, they're like, hidden lots essentially. And there's temples you can explore, and
they're different on different trips. You can find all these artifacts in them, it's kind of similar to World Adventures
in The Sims 3 just a little bit, but this is way more interesting,
there is way more to do in this world. I also find the style of
this pack to be so pretty. I love building with Jungle Adventure. I know
we're not talking about the pack, but like, Jungle Adventure, just the vibes of
it in my opinion, are really good. Saying that, I'm not gonna put it at
really good, I'm probably gonna put it at decent because it's only a vacation
world, all you can do is vacation there. That's like, the major downside of it, but when
you do go to it, I feel like it's pretty fun. And then the last world, the Star Wars
world. This is Batuu from the Star Wars pack. And this one, I really truly do not
think we can even call it a world. You might be thinking wait, where
are the lots? Yeah, there are none. There's technically a hidden lot in each of
these places because there has to be one lot for your Sims to be on when they come there,
but you can't build there without cheats. This is such a niche thing too because
only Star Wars fans will like it. I never come here, I really truly never come
here, there is no reason for it to exist for me. If I wasn't a YouTuber, I
probably wouldn't have this pack. I mean this is just not -- it barely counts.
It barely counts as one of the worlds. If you compare this to like, Windenburg,
what? Zero lots versus like, 27? I'm sorry, no questions asked, this
one gets put in the useless category. And that, my friends, is
my entire world tier list. So looking at this again, I feel like
I kind of want to adjust some stuff. I definitely think I would say Windenburg is my
favorite, closely followed by Brindleton Bay. I love the idea of San Myshuno and
I love the idea of Mount Komorebi. I really don't play in Mount Komorebi that often, but I feel like Mount Komorebi
is just such a cool world. It's so different, so different,
than anything else we have. I feel kind of ridiculous having Newcrest in the
second tier category, but I use Newcrest a lot. Maybe I'll put it at like, the back of the
second tier category because I would say Henford-on-Bagley could be top tier, but not
quite, same with Copperdale, same with Sulani. Okay, I think I'm happy with this
ranking. I have been rambling about Sims worlds for so long, so I'm sorry
that you had to watch this whole video. Hopefully it was helpful if you've been
thinking about buying any of these packs. I've done quite a few other
ranking videos for The Sims 4. I've ranked all of the packs so I can
link that down below if you want to watch those and hear more thoughts
on which packs I think are worth it. This video was more just about the worlds. I'm also going to link this tier list down below in case you want to go and
try and make one for yourselves. I'd be so interested to hear
what your favorite worlds are because obviously we all probably
have pretty different opinions. I mean some things are pretty obvious, some
worlds have 27 lots and others have zero, so I think we're probably gonna have
some pretty similar rankings for those, but I'm curious about the other ones. Like, all those middle ones, where
would you put them? Tell me in the comments what your favorite and least
favorite world is, how about that? And I'm gonna catch you all
tomorrow, okay? Bye everybody. Staring at those icons for so long, you realize
just how similar the icons are because like, Newcrest, Willow Creek, even Britechester,
they look so similar just from that tiny image. [ JAZZY OUTRO MUSIC ]
