shout out to Steven and ERS gaming for supporting me in level three or higher on [Music] patreon hey everyone I'm Albert Boris it's over it terminated all online services from Mario Kart 7 so it finally happened correct well I suppose it was inevitable you played a lot of online for that game didn't you oh don't bring up the memories it was probably my most played Mario Kart game of all time it's still hard to believe that it's actually gone now so what are you going to do now well I'm not going to get any happier stalking about it actually you have an idea yes you Ryder and the crabman meet me at green pipe City very well ah Mario Kart 7 for me this is one of those Mario Kart games that I can go back to any day of the week and just have the time of my life it was one of the first games in the series that I played so naturally it holds a lot of nostalgia for me and to this day it's probably my personal favorite installment from the introduction of gliders bold character roster but of course best of all the core selection my goodness does marioart 7 quite possibly have the most consistent tracks in the entire series sure some games like Mar DS and Wii have higher Highs but they also had much lower lows if not even a sizable minority meanwhile for Mark art 7 I'd say most of them were actually pretty good and considering it as for two of them that's an impressive feat especially the retro trucks like what other base game went out of their way to specifically pick fan favorites to return I mean even the shell and banana cups are seen favorably by most people like how do you accomplish that so you know what let's do this let's rank all 32 courses in Mario Kart 7 it was a lot of fun revisiting my favorite Mario Kart game and hopefully you'll have a fun time watching this video as well but if you don't I have a couple of other YouTuber friends who will be joining us on this Adventure allow me to step back for a while hi everyone I'm Ralph from osber gaming how's it going everyone it's Ryder here hey everyone I'm James from Shea relis so yeah with all that being said let's get [Music] started opening up we have the D tier these are for the only TRS that I didn't really like at all they're not awful per se and they have some redeeming qualities but on the whole yeah they just waste my precious time and in last place we have N64 Luigi Raceway so this probably wasn't much of a surprise growing up this was always my least favorite track in game and over 10 years later it still easily is it's just a long and boring straightaway coupled with some turns making it a b shape it's not complete rubbish I like how you can drive on these blue things to the side being able to grab an item box from this hot air balloon and there's a few places where you can cut Corners barely but it's not enough the music is generic the layout is underwhelming and there's just barely anything to make notice of not even the tunnel with its orange lights make me care it's just a bland and boring starter track and largely the same can be said for the next track on the list because from one N64 retro we go to another with Calamar desert H this track now Calamar desert is a classic I think everyone can agree on that the idea of a train going around a track and sometimes blocking the Racer's path is great in concept and execution it adds personality to the track and while it can be unfair marioart was never fair to begin with the problem is that it only happened like five times in my entire lifetime I wish I was joking the last time a train blocked my path I intentionally slowed down just so it could happen otherwise it's such a rare occurrence that I don't even remember when it was the last time before they really should have added another train or at least sped up the current ones and the worst part is that the train was all it had going for take that out and you're literally just Stu with a desert oval a slippery one at that mind you you know what now that I think about it why does a desert track have ice physics again it's not an awful track there's a few shortcut opportunities but they also took out the one thing that made it actually really cool in the original that being able to drive through the train tunnels why it was so fun to go through them even if you weren't supposed to now that's gone and so is pretty much all enjoyment and it's in the leaf cup what it's honestly a wonder that he managed to make it as great as as it is in a deluxe luckily however those are the only two tracks that I didn't really like so let's move on to the next tier [Music] now this is for the tracks that I still don't think are too great but on the whole they definitely lean more onto the positive side starting with toad circuit yeah surprisingly this is actually a really decent starter a lot of opening tracks in the series aren't really Innovative at all and don't really leave an impression for the rest of the game and while toad circuit is also kind of basic I always had a bit of a softer spot for it the music is much more slow and welcoming than the other circuit themes the toad balloons add some neat visual variety and there's quite a few places where you can do shortcuts H too bad everyone's just going to remember it for how ugly it is in E Lux now as awful as that remake was however toad circuit in its original form will always hold a special place in my heart as even though it's pretty simple it's a Charming first impression to the rest of the game especially to gliding another track that served as a first impression was jeap Jeep Cape being the first course in the entire series to have underwater driving yeah honestly I'm a surprised as anyone else but it took them seven games to introduce such a seemingly integral gameplay mechanic but hey better late than ever I can't say this track was the best first tip we could have had though as it's arguably one of the most uninspired Beach tracks of all time he got some coral reefs and a small cave section but it doesn't really do anything with them you just drive through them that said I'll never quite understand why it's so he heed because it's still perfectly playable the optional glider is some fun especially when you try to Dive Right as the dash panels drive and the atmosphere is pretty chill so yeah an uninspired but still all right enough track now the next course on the list H how should I put it is Rainbow Road I didn't say which Rainbow Road it was did I I'm not quite insane just yet in 28th Place we have the SN version of rainbow road the last course in the game but also the first rest Rainbow Road in the seras and it's kind of mediocre I get that it was the first track ever of this archetype so obviously it's not as crazy as what came after but that doesn't make it more fun in the present day unlike other rainbow roads this one is much safer in its approach the layout is simple but still effective and there are no elevation changes and that's to be expected from a SN remake but when every single corner of the track looks the same yeah it just feels kind of underwhelming the most interesting things are a couple of ramps scattered across the map as well as these super tws that cause shock waves upon Landing although it's more like baby bumps and it's so unsatisfying to trick off of them it's still a fun of course I like music and it's a nice challenge they just should have done a little more with it GBA Bowser castle one was another flat track green healing from super Circuit this one is also pretty simple it's mostly just a couple of turns tws and dash panels over lava never wordss absolutely nothing out of the ordinary although it did actually add something kind of cool in this version on the second lap a glider pad will actually open up on the ramp section allowing you to SAR over that area it's minor but it's always fun especially since they also added a shortcut that requires it at the end and also I really like the sky box it's nothing too special but I love these huge round Bowser doors and seeing the ominous landscape outside so yeah it's a short if still somewhat Charming Bowser Castle now DK jungle is a course that I was never really able to Vibe with I'm not even sure what is the general consensus on this map it doesn't seem to have too much much of a following but I always just get kind of irritated thinking about it it's not a bad track design-wise as a tie-in Donkey Kong coner returns which released a year earlier it does a good job balancing references with an engaging track layout even the art style is very reminiscent too bad I don't really like Donkey Kong concer returns it's a blend weak and kind of unpleasant game in my opinion and sadly this track feels almost the same way the jungle feels generic and uninspired and the texturing just looks kind of off in a lot of places and even the legend a banana temple with no personality also I hate these stupid tickies and these weird screaming pillars no particular reason I just think they're weird why are you screaming so much just shut up at least the music is pretty catchy though and I definitely like the layout it's just that they wasted it on a kind of unlikable atmosphere and honestly it should not have been in the special cup like I'm sorry lastly for our final course in the C tier we have a okay maybe it's not that controversial seeing how it's been kind of cool to HTE on it recently but you know what whatever what how could you do this it's outrageous it's unfair uh wait I know right how can Waluigi pinball be in this game without a playable Waluigi that's not what I was going to say oh but you were thinking that right yeah I don't know if I'm alone on this boat but I've never really quite like Waluigi pinball not even the original version if anything I only like the a deluxe version but at least that one looks amazing the concept it's absolutely kingly driving inside a pinball machine the problem is that for 80% of the race you're just twisting around on this boring slide thingy occasionally avoiding pinballs only at the very end do you actually get to be on the table itself at which point it's kind of too late and there's not a single shortcut to break up the pace except for a minor split path at the end in all honesty they should have just made a battle stage of the table area it's still an okay track though because you can't go wrong with the idea and you can tell that they put some hard into it with all the new custom sound effects even if the music has been weirdly decompressed in this version and I have no idea why but when you look at that we're already out of the sea te courses even if I didn't like these tracks too much I still generally enjoy them more than I hated them now we head on to the be tier tracks though which is where the courses are actually starting to get kind of good starting with SNS Mario circuit 2 I'm going to leave this one to my good friend and content creator James from chailles thanks a lot Albert Mario circuit 2 has always been a bit of an outlier among the other SNES tracks well most of them are kind of flat and boring this one always stood out for being the only one to have a big jump which made it one of the more memorable tracks from the game so if any SNES track had to be brought back I'm glad it was this one especially since they also turned the jump into a glider now with even an added trampoline for extra speed and even disregarding that it's just a generally fun course with lots of shortcuts and turns to drift around on so while it's not the most ambitious stage ever it's incredibly enjoyable for what it is thank you very much Chief it's truly an honor to have you here another fun trk would have to be dazy Hills to be honest ever since I got this game I always thought this was the weirdest name ever for markar track what are these Hills made out of Daisy regardless it's a cool track I really like the Vibes of what it was trying to go for driving through a hilly Countryside somewhere in the Alps the bridges the goats crossing the village all of it was charming and even the elevation feels kind of crazy at times especially for just being the second track in the game and there is quite a lot of split paths as well really this track deserves way more credit it's still pretty easy and short hence why it's not higher but man it's definitely one of the better early tracks in the series the next up is the other Mario circuit in the game this time the new one and it's good possibly the best Mario circuit in the entire series even either that or the DS1 one and it's not just because you can drive through Peach's castle if that's all had going for it it would be kind of mediocre since it's really just a small spiral up but the whole track just has a really comforting vibe to it Mar circuits typically go for a nature theme and this one probably does it the best with the pink peach trees and all and the track itself can actually get a bit difficult at times especially if you opt for the shortcuts and the music as I said earlier is just really warm and inviting now the next t on the list might seem awfully low considering how much I praised it in my Boosty course pass ranking and I was actually shocked to find out that I didn't quite like this much here but then I realized why I was never originally that much of a fan to begin with at number 21 we have Rosalina's ice World H so this was originally my least favorite track in the game the ice physics were awful the music was quiet and depressing and it just seemed kind of bland for a Rosalina track so what changed well besides the frankly amazing boost the course pass remake I kind of like stuff that make me emotional and this right here is probably the course that makes me feel the most it the music all B not very uplifting has a very frigid and Melancholy vibe to it which always sends me in a wh pool of feelings and for the track itself I like to focus on split paths even if I also hate that the top half hair becomes inaccessible after the first lap unless you have a mushroom not being able to make it is just the worst feeling ever in this game and it definitely feels like half pipes were made with discourse in mind and I do have to admit that the music in this version is a bit too quiet like it almost gets kind of boring unlike in eight8 Deluxe the Boost course pass remake definitely made his track more engaging in every single way so much to a point the original just feels kind of Unfinished it's still a pretty beautiful track even if it feels like a beta in every way same can be said for the next course on list we mushroom Gorge ah and here Begins the onslaught of Mario Kart Wii the makes in this game I wish I could be happier about it Mario Kart Wii was the first game in the series that I ever played so naturally once I got around to seven one of my most anticipated aspects was being able to play those tracks again the issue well they all got worse more or less making for much sadder experiences at least they were all fan favorite so they're still great tracks but man they could have been so much better and this is probably my least favorite Wii track in this game allow me to pass over the script to my good friend and content creator osur gaming who will discuss this track more in detail thanks Albert boring so out of the four retro tracks from Wii mushroom Gorge was probably the only one that really got an improvement in the form of the blue glider mushroom gliding is always fun so no complaints there but on the other hand they also took out the hidden mushrooms at the start and made the Gap CAU near impossible so it kind of evens out still even if bouncing off of mushrooms is much less flashy than it was in Wii there still loads of fun track thank you very much Ralph however since this was always my least favorite of these four wi tracks it will stay the lowest of them DSD key pass is up next and this is another course that I was never too fond of originally like Rosalina's ice world because you guessed it the ice physics I don't know what it is but for some reason reason the ice physics of markart 7 are just so much worse than in most other games maybe it's just a contrast of how good the regular controls are but it just feels like you keep slipping everywhere plus there's way more of these tracks than in most games now that I'm older though I'm able to appreciate these tracks much more and the key pass is just a generally cozy winter track I like how it kind of feels like a colum after a storm with the playful music and blue skis the general layout is pretty laidback with even the traditional big jump feeling more calm than usual some may say it doesn't feel like a DE track but I like to see it as being based on the gorilla glaciers world in the original Donkey Kong Country which by the way is a better game than returns I still think the DS version is better since it's much less slippery but this is still a cool track as is the next track on the list Koopa City now this is probably the biggest love ited track in markart 7 and it's definitely easy to see why on one hand you're driving over a futuristic Mega City during a rainstorm which is pretty epic and I love how effortlessly the music takes Melodies From other markart songs and still manages to feel new but on another hand not only is it just Road and not only are there yet again ice physics but good Lord why is it so punishing for the most part it's a manageable truck even with the numerous oil puddles but then at the very end you have to make some of the tightest turns this game has to offer and it throve me nuts growing up especially when everyone kept voting for it online in the E deluxe version it was fine because break drifting existed but here it's a different story nah the reason it's a bad trap is because it's a circuit in Disguise what are you talking about don't believe me the internal name of the track is literally Advanced circuit huh I never knew Bowser's second name was Advanced dude not like that but it's definitely one of the hardest tracks to master and nowadays I don't mind it and find it a fun challenge but it can be a real pain at times but while he said it was controversial his castle is perhaps even more so this is definitely one of the more divisive Bowser Castle tracks in my serious while I definitely understand why people don't like it it's also one of the more unique conditions with how much more desperate it feels Bowser Castle tracks always feel dangerous but they still tend to have a feeling of order but in this game it feels so much more rundown and unkempt the flooring is just regular road now and parts of the castle seem to have even been destroyed because barely halfway in you transition to the ashy wastelands outside coupled with the almost doomsday is music and you've got one of the more dangerous feeling Bowser castles even with the bizarre underwater sections uh you know what I'll just replay a clip of one of my older videos it makes no sense scientifically I'm not even a scientist but breaking the laws of physics like this just takes me out of the experience how many people have seen that 26,000 guys I'm so sorry you all had to witness that but lastly before heading on to the next tier let's talk about another track that might seem awfully low for reputation DS Airship Fortress all right so I'm just going to say it right now but this track did not deserve deserve a boost to course pass remake look I'm sorry but Mario circuit had never been remade up until that point and that's not to say that Airship Fortress is bad because if anything I do prefer it as a course overall by a long shot it's one of the most badass courses in the series an entire track based around the Airship levels from Mario 3 sure I can dig that the whole track just has such a dangerous and ominous vibe to it with the purple clouds climactic music all of it makes for one of the most epic atmospheres out there in Mario Kart in fact growing up this was probably one of my tracks from the game but it's kind of shrank on me like in Waluigi pinball there's zero shortcut potential and a lot of segments feel like they could have been way more interesting like the spiral at the end the best part was no doubt the start where you had to avoid an oncoming barrage of bonsai bills it perfectly set the tone for the rest of the track I slightly prefer the original track if only because they tainted the beautiful purple sky with some unnecessary red but it's pretty trivial and with that we're done with the beat Tier and not only that but we're also a little over halfway done with the ranking already dude it's chap Jeep Lagoon and Neo Bowser City okay don't you think you're a bit too late to correct me on those but whatever I prefer cheap Jeep keep for directly referencing Koopa keep and Koopa City sounds more inclusive than dystopian for the energetic kind of track it is [Music] anyways let's move on to the E tier now where the tracks are starting to get really great these ones are simply put amazing they may not have that little extra that mix course is near perfect but otherwise I always have an excellent time on them starting with the classic N64 Koopa Troopa Beach I think this is one of those tracks that pretty much everyone can agree is fun more or less like what is there to dislike about it it's got a relaxing Beach Vibe tons of rams to trick off of as well as one of the coolest shortcuts in the entire series it's in a bit of a different place from where it was originally probably because they wanted to make use of that juicy glider but I'm all for it as it becomes much more epic that way it's also one of the tracks that I feel like benefit the most from markart 7's underwater gameplay it's just an all-around fun track and so is we Maple Treeway which is next up on the list I don't really have too much to say about this one except it's a good course I don't like it quite as much as everyone else seemed to but it's a soothing adventure for a giant Autumn Tree with relaxing music wigglers and a cannon I especially love the little leaf piles you can drive into revealing mushrooms and coins you can grab like the other Wii remakes however it's a bit of a step back because not L to have pipes gone but so is the legendary netbridge so this is one of those few instances where the glider makes the track worse although still think the track itself is great in 13th Place we have shy guy bizaar by far the best desert track in the series it's so good that I didn't even realize it was a desert at first wait is that a good thing well I say it is because Arabian Knights is one of my favorite aestheic ever for any video game location totally not because of my favorite game of all time but I always just love love the whole vibe of a stere night over a desert market and it's pretty stunning here sadly the layout isn't quite that good like I don't know it's just kind of basic the first half is cool when you're actually in the market with all these split paths but then the second half just becomes a couple of turns in a straight line well I guess it's what you have to sacrifice for being in the mushroom cup the 12th Place we have woohoo Island Loop not woohoo Loop that's just boring this is an instant classic quite possibly one of the most revolutionary mark tracks of all time what's funny is that on the surface it doesn't seem that Innovative oh cool it's just some Crossover with we Sports Resort wait a crossover that's also kind of revolutionary but yeah the bottom line is it just seems like a typical beginner track with grassland theme certainly Charming with one of my favorite music themes in the game but nothing more then I got to the second lab and realized wait this doesn't look like the starting line and then lab three came around and I realized that this was one huge track divided up into sections and it blew my mind I never even played Wii Sports Resort and even then I got attached the whole course just flows so immaculately and even if the theme is tame on the surface it's surprisingly unique even there it's kind of the obligatory traffic map of the game with cars to avoid and there are so many hidden split pths to find out about making each playthrough unique in its own right it's still only the 12 place though because despite all of that it still has a somewhat basic theme it's handled incredibly well sh but there is a similar track later on the list solves this biggest issue now warriors gallion on the other hand is way too underrated I can't believe I'm saying that for what is arguably one of the most ambitious Nitros in the game seriously why is this cor so overlooked because it doesn't exist it's called Wario Shipyard what how is this a shipyard do you even know the definition of it beral but yeah this is probably the biggest Hidden Gem that markart 7 has to offer you're literally Racing for a half submerged shipwreck during a thunderstorm and it goes wild with how much it twists all around you even have a ton of references to the underrated Warrior Land series both in music but also in visual details genuinely does anyone have a clue why this track gets so little attention I can only speak for myself and I know that when I was younger I didn't really quite appreciate it since the gloomy color scheme didn't quite appeal to me but now 10 years later I think it's time that we admit we took this track for granted because this is another classic among the warrian Waluigi tracks and now we're already in the top 10 and opening up the final stretch is another weed Dake this time coconut mall now this one is a bit more controversial than the other two we just talked about and as far as remakes go this one definitely had it a bit rougher even so I still ended up putting it ahead of those two once again allow me to pass over the torch to James from chras who shall explain why thanks again Albert so I don't think much has to be said about this as a trap it's a mall that you're racing the fact that they came up with something so bizarre and yet so Charming is Beyond me most of us have probably been to a mall once or twice in our lives and this track perfectly nailed the presentation the escalators the cars driving back and forth all the Miis around you even the color scheme feels accurate so how did all that turn out for the Remake well guess what it's all ruined the escalators now have huge arrows removing the difficulty aspect of them a car has been removed at the end and even all the Miis are gone and that's not to mention the more neutered color scheme it's not oversaturated like the 8 deluxe version at least but it still just feels kind of sad and then they decided to flood the track in some places for seemingly no reason but you know it's still Coconut Mall they may have nerfed the presentation by quite a bit but it still has its core intact and since that core is near perfect it's still an excellent track thank you very much again James and right after is the last we track on the list Koopa keep and how fitting that the worst remake of the four would still end up being the best overall track and that's bizarre because unlike Coconut Mall which still mostly stayed true to the original Koopa Cape outright changed Central aspects of the track most notably at the underwater tunnel remember when you were avoiding electrical Spinners while being Guided by the Rushing Water yeah now it's just a regular underwater section but wait there's cheap cheps yay sorry but that's just cheap yet I still love the track and that's because while the tube was a small loss the general theme of the track is still intact I've always been a huge fan of nature courses especially if there's a lot of green and Koopa gape is probably one of the most Charming ones with the whole Riverside Forest by a coastal Cliff it's stunning and speaks to me on a personal level even if the glider is kind of useless but at least they kept the great Cliff color and the turn left/ turn right signs unlike a certain other remake but yeah kopa cave is great despite its shortcomings in eighth place we have gcn Daisy Cruiser and here is another just allaround excellent classic it was always one of my favorite nitrous for Mar Double Dash and it still is one of the most fun Retros in this game I always had a strong attachment to anything cruise ship related as a result of traveling a lot in my childhood so naturally I have a soft spot for this track as well it's just so soothing with plenty of fun obstacles to avoid the only thing I kind of wish is that the pool actually had to be avoided since it kind of removes all the difficulty when you can just drive through it but this take is admittedly pretty fun too in seventh place is Dino Dino jungle the slightly better GameCube rer in the game because while Daisy Cruiser took a tiny step back Dino Dino jungle actually made quite a few improvements again it was already an excellent track driving for a prehistoric jungle with dinosaurs and this version is even more enjoyable of course not only are Mark art 7's controls much more bearable than double dashes so that alone makes the split Bridge paths better but they also decided to make a glider section of that huge shortcut and the bridge at the end all in all it's a bared and ambitious track with lots of track elements to worry about and it's a crime that it never return to the booster course pass nah DK Mountain deserved it way more to be fair ah no it didn't it play plays awful in a Delux you're only saying that because you want a d din so badly get out anyways finishing off this tier we have piranha plant pipeline wait that's not right we have piranha plant pipeway now piranha plant pipeway isn't one of the most iconic markart 7 tracks for nothing in a nutshell it's basically a better version of Koopa keep at least since this game both have running water as a central gimmick but this one just does it so much more uniquely perhaps most interesting is how different art style is for this track compared to the rest of the game markart 7 tracks typically have a very realistic and gritty look to them but meanwhile this one feels like it comes straight out of Super Mario Bros being a direct call back to 1-2 from set game and they nailed it the saturated Overworld the brick castle at the start the blue underground even the blue Goombas okay sure there wasn't any water in that game's level originally but when it's handled so seamlessly I can definitely sacrifice a bit of accuracy it's actually a bit surprising that it took them seven games to give us a track about the game that star at all but again better late than ever fun fact when I first got this game I thought PIRA plant pipeway was the name of that mountain track because you know it also had pipes yeah that's why we call it piranha plant slide to avoid confusion wait really I thought it was because it's like a water slide but that concludes the a tier now we can finally proceed to the best of the best the S tier these are for the tracks that are simply put near perfect even if I tried to come up with a problem for them it would come off as more of an inconvenience when something actually detrimental opening up the top five with the best of markart 7's retro tracks introducing Boston building what dude it's a building and it looks like Boston just like it was in my dream well on one hand the tier mansion in Luigi's Mansion is barely even the main highlight of the track but I'm willing to let it slide because of everything else great it does I don't know I always had an incredibly soft spot for this track especially this remake and sure the main attraction is just a downward spiral with some creepy paintings so fun but wasted but then you get to the forest and gets real you've got slippery puddles of mud scary trees walking around so many random shortcuts and glider options and it's all just so ominous the music perfectly instills the sense of dread within me especially once the chus kicks in arguably it's one of the most atmospheric tracks in the game and I'll always have a knack for it at number four we have woohoo mountain Loop easily the superior of the two woohoo tracks in the game the main problem of the former was that even as unique as it was it still had a kind of basic look to it but a hike up a mountain concluding in the most beautiful glider section of all time yes baby now we're talking something daytime is cool but Sunset is even better and I mean you can drive through a lake and Castle as a shortcut how cool is that and I didn't even mentioned a gamebreaking glitch where if you drive into this clip shortly after lap two you get to skip the entire second section the first time I pull that up in time trials I thought I had just broken a world record I hadn't but it was still really cool it's just one of the most beautiful and massive markart tracks of all time but it's not perfect sadly why well it's not personal and this is an inconvenience with Section tracks in general but there's also just a lot of filler the main appeal of these kinds of tracks are the overarching is and how Grand they feel but it also usually comes at the cost of having a lot of areas that just don't really do anything like you have multiple segments in this track but are nothing more than just filler before you get to the actually good stuff and while it's worth it in the end it does get kind of boring at times and that's why I can't be any more generous than this also the cave section should have had lava because it's inside a volcano which by the way has the most stupid name I've ever heard but I digress opening up the top three is Rainbow Road the good one this time and this is a masterpiece there's a reason the 3DS version of rainbow road is commonly heralded to be the greatest incarnation of all time for me it's not quite the best but I can definitely understand why it's seem that way because unlike every other one this one is also divided up into sections like the woohoo tracks it makes for much more overarching Adventure and sure while it has some of the issues I brought up earlier as an example lap one is pretty easy and forgettable but on the whole I definitely say that it handles this gameplay the best out of these three because as soon as lap two starts you get to drive on the rings of Saturn on the moon and just a bunch of other cool areas honestly I've been so accustomed to the more mediocre 8 Deluxe remake that I almost forgot how much I love this track originally seriously it's kind of unbelievable how much more dramatic it feels here the Music is More magical the turns of way crazier elevation and it just looks brighter in general and the Moon is actually low gravity instead of just floaty it's just an amazing track overall for the silver medal is the revered fan favorite Melody Motorway it's music po actually you in this time wait you actually agree with me this time don't think this is anything other than an exception the other tracks still have better names where I come from dude we come from the same place but yeah Melody Motorway is pretty good and that's all the really has to be said about it so let's talk about the number one track now wait are you really not going to say anything about it why should I everyone already knows why it's a masterpiece well if you won't then I will no wait when I got to this track for the first time and saw this badass name I knew this would be undoubtedly be my favorite course in the game it wasn't but it is still close it's a whole track made up of musical instruments you drive on Pian xylophones bounce off drums and even have to avoid musical notes bouncing on the track what's there not to love about it 911 what's your emergency yeah so my video is getting hijacked send help immediately how are you even able to make a call there's no telephone wire up here all right anyways thank you very much ryer now let's move on to my personal favorite course in Mario Kart 7 and that ladies and gentlemen is oh thank God he's not here Alpine pass Ro Rock Mountain no it's Alpine pass both names are boring just take your pick guys yeah if you if you've been paying attention during the video you'd notice that this was the only track that I hadn't brought up yet and now you know why from my first playthrough I knew it was just something else as I already said for goofa Cape I've always been huge on nature F courses especially if there's a lot of green and maybe even Cliffs and while what you look at that Alpine pass is just that and it's breathtaking gliding through an Alpine Forest filled with Gorgeous green pipes and speaking of which the gliding obviously gliding is pretty much the trademark gimmick of markart 7 so how about a whole track based around it you're in the air for at least a good 40% of the race and it's pretty much the track that shows it off the best not only is the setting appropriate for this game play but it's so versatile you can play it safe try your luck with shortcuts or even opt to not Glide At All by pressing B all choices are available and there's ultimately so many ways for you to experience the track and this is why the 8 deluxe version of the track will always be so much worse not enough that it looks like Play-Doh but the glider physics in that game are just so much worse but more on to to the track itself I didn't even mention the final section where you had to avoid falling Boulders the epic rock music playing in the background it's already a good song as it is but then it's also one of the only two tracks in the game besides rainbow road to have a unique final La intro jingle and it's just perfect honestly I don't think there's a single issue I have at all with the map it might actually be just that perfect in my eyes and that is why it will probably always be my favorite track in markart 7 and that was my ranking of all 32 courses in my precious favorite Mar Kart game hopefully it was a lot of fun for you to watch this journey unfold before making this video Mar Kart 7 was the peak of the franchise for me and after playing through the tracks again and again for this ranking I am yet again convinced that no other enter in the series has as many great tracks nah you're wrong Albert you're giving it way too much credit there's literally no reason to play Mario Kart 7 anymore now that they brought back wiggler and most of the best tracks in Deluxe maybe but but markart 7 still has honeyqueen and the superior version of 3DS tracks usually so I'd rather consider it even but yeah what is your ranking of the courses in Mario Kart 7 did you agree with me or not if you enjoy this video then make sure to like share and subscribe to my channel as I talk about everything Mario related and before we end this video I obviously have to give a shout out to osur gaming Ryder cart DX and Cha's productions for helping me out on the video all my thanks go out to them so make sure to check them out as well with all that being said I'm signing off until next time time [Music] [Music]
