Ranking each Hazbin Hotel character by how likely they are to die

there's rumors going around circulating that allegedly one of the main characters from hasbin hotel is going to die before the end of season 1 I thought it'd be fun to just make a silly little Theory video and because the new episodes Premiere uh very soon I wanted to get this out before then so then uh people don't see the video and then be like you cheated or God you put this out late and you were entirely wrong which is probably what's going to happen I'm probably going to be entirely wrong so let's have fun with being wrong and be as wrong as we possibly can by rating pictures of characters as plushies some of them not even being the actual characters I'm sure you get the gist s tier is definitely going to die and then D tier is I don't think they're going to die and this is all in good fun this is all in good fun maybe none of the characters die and I'm stupid maybe it's actually a fake out death and I'm going to call it with my theory that I'll put at the end to the video so you got to watch the whole thing you got to watch the whole thing to get to that part yeah I'm not doing any more intro I'm just going to start doing this so let's talk about some characters so out of hasb been hotel's cast I've narrowed the main character list down to about seven main characters obviously we got Charlie vgy this is really clever okay this I thought this was a really clever way to find a vaggy plush alist angel dust husk Nifty I couldn't find any plush to represent Nifty I'm so sorry then we have serenus yay your pinches yippeee and I'm going to do this in a different way I'm going to rate these characters rather than just rating them in order of how they are here I'm going to rate them going upwards so I'm going to start with the character that I think is least likely to die in hasbin hotel it at least in season one with with where the story is at right now as of recording this I have watched episodes 1 2 3 4 5 and six I have not seen seven or eight I don't really know anything about them so I'm just going off of what I know from episodes 1 to six I think the least likely character to die in has been hotel in season 1 is Charlie and I think this for a lot of reasons um the big one obviously being the fact that well this is kind of Charlie's show the the hotel is her hotel it'd be a bit weird if she died in six or seven episodes I guess I should also lay out that um I feel like because of the time skip that happened in the most recent episodes that the final episode is going to take place during the extermination event especially with how like episode 6 kept building up towards that where it's like oh Adam's going to come back and exterminate them wo wo wo oh yeah by the way spoilers for episodes 1 through six whoops should have probably said that smile spoiler alert I'll put it here spoiler alert but I feel like episode 8 the death the character death is going to happen in the final episode cuz it you got to end your season with the character death and also I feel like that character is going to die during the extermination event which will feed into some of my theories and placements of some of these characters mainly just one but Charlie I think it would just be so weird if this character died because there's so much stuff we don't know about her she's kind of like the glue that holds a lot of these characters together like she obviously cares about vaggie a lot she cares about angel dust a lot she even cares about serenus a lot like I feel like if any character were to die it'd be more impactful if Charlie were there to witness it and cry over it because Charlie is also a big crybaby and they're kind of setting her up as like the emotional center of the show I mean it it it would make a lot more sense to have Charlie be the character witnessing the death so then also her character can get like progressed a lot we get a lot more depth added to her character so she isn't so um one note sorry and I think that overall it' just be kind of weird if like her Arc of season 1 was try to get her hotel made go to heaven find out no one knows what they're doing and then dies that would just kind of be like that' be really sad um especially because it'd be it'd be weirdly like tragic in hasband hotel because like I feel like a lot of the show's themes so far are kind of like portraying this sort of like hope that a lot of characters have or not a lot of characters but like Charlie has Charlie has the hope that like humans or Sinners can redeem themselves and then Charlie dies before she's actually able to see her dream like play out that's like weirdly dark and tragic on a level that's like really really tragic for the show and I would just be I would be amazed if the show actually took that direction and then had the balls to leave it on like a cliffhanger I would be like okay husband what are you cooking where is this going is it burnt so uh yeah I don't think Charli is going to be the one to die again I think it's more important for her to be there to witness the death and also because I think this character death could be like super motivating for her in a lot of what she does next character Nifty I would be really surprised if Nifty died um I'll keep this reasoning brief and short Nifty hasn't really done anything in the show so I would be frankly surprised if the first big thing she did in the show was die I'd feel like that'd be really shitty to her character because like they haven't even really like hinted at much stuff there she's just kind of like insane girl who is affiliated with Alistair does Alistair own her soul as well I I would assume so because like actually I don't know maybe she does maybe he doesn't I don't know but like like me not knowing that should be enough to already say like hey Nifty probably shouldn't be the one to die because like we know all about this character we know less about Nifty than we know about like serenus so I would like to know more about a character before they die it would feel really weird if like the least developed character of the main cast is the one who dies and then like no one gives a about it except like Charlie and maybe husk and vaggy like I can't see Angel Dust carrying that much um maybe serpen cares maybe Alistar cares I don't know like this death would just be really weird this death would be really weird for me um if it is Nifty again I'll be super surprised because like it feels like there's other characters who are primed with more death Flags than just Nifty who is kind of just been a comic relief character I mean the most she's done this season is she wanders over to Valentino to force a confrontation between angel dust and Valentino like she doesn't mean to but like she kind of does that and then she she takes a piece of his clothing and then she leaves so maybe Valentino comes back and and kills her and then she's dead for stealing his coat and then angel dust feels really guilty about it but like if that was going to happen I feel like that would have happened already so I don't know I don't know I feel like Nifty is very unlikely similarly unlikely uh maybe a little more so maybe a little less so is Alistair who's the only PNG I found of any of these plushes so he's he's he's a little transparent he doesn't have a white box around him cuz he's so special uh I don't think alistar's going to die and this is mainly leading into my like extermination Day Theory alistair's like super powerful and super strong um I could see him being busy during the climax like defending the hotel but I don't see him as like outright sacrificing himself for it if that makes sense and also I feel like it's really difficult to kill Alistair with all the like different magic things he showed off like he took down all the other overlords himself he's got so much like history to him I feel like this character is just going to like stomp any Angel like imagine Adam fighting aliser do you really think Adam's winning that do you really think Adam's a winning that like ever ever ever uh my answer would be no I think Alistair takes that every day to Sunday so with Alistair not being able to be killed he would have to like want to be killed and I don't see him at this moment being the type of character to sacrifice himself for others is especially no one here maybe Charlie but I feel like that'd just be really weird if he did that so um I don't see him dying in the finale before season 1 ends and also there's just so much like setup with Alistair still he's got the Vox Tech Dynamic he's got the Lucifer Dynamic like he's got so much lore to him he's the only one who knows still I mean I guess unless you count like serenes because he technically knows but like he's the guy who went with the egg to or the eggs went with him and he found out that like an angel was killed by um Carmela the like the the the other Overlord or whatever so like he's the only one who knows that information I feel like him knowing that and him not like passing it on to anyone else that we know of like he's going to use that to just kill the Angels like he's just going to kill the angels and fight back cuz he knows they can actually be killed and he definitely he definitely has more strength than Carmela let's be real okay he can totally kill them so like how's he going to die unless he sacrifices himself and who why is he going to sacrifice himself there ain't no reason he's not going to die there's no way I don't see it happening I'm almost tempted to move him into D tier cuz there's just like so much narrative juice they need to squeeze out of him still but um yeah know I'll keep him in CER cuz like the only way I see him dying is he gets like over confident in his own abilities and then he gets like mobbed like he gets hoarded and everyone fights back against him even then I still don't see it happening I still see him like worming his way out of it somehow who knows um Alis C tier boom okay now let me be clear with these characters now now that we get to B tier this is where it's like I could see these characters actually dying these three no way I don't see it happening I I don't think it would make sense if any of these three characters died these four however I can't get over the Monokuma plush I put for vaggie look it has the same little Mark over the eye I thought was perfect okay it was fine these four characters however I feel like it actually makes narrative sense so let's start talking about these characters let's talk about husk I think husk is B tier why do I think this well there's a couple reasons husk is finally coming out of his shell in season one he he sung a song with angel dust that was cool um if he were to die it would absolutely wreck angel dust um and add more like trauma to his Arc and you know we love characters who have to like deal with a bunch of and then have to deal with more all of a sudden because they feel like they're not good enough and then because of their actions maybe someone else died maybe Valentino comes back and kills husk for some reason who knows I don't know that would certainly like make angel dust feel like but I feel like husk just has like he's got the soul contract thing with Alistair he's got a lot of like his he drops that he's an Overlord in a song or like in the Prelude to a song and that's kind of like not followed up on much I feel like we need to get that flashback that history there because that would characterize him and Alistair a lot and I feel like out of all the characters in the show he is the one who knows the most about Alistair and there's he's going to be the one to like talk to Charlie at some point and him and Charlie have barely shared many scenes together and so I feel like Charlie because she's so in the dark about Alistair and his true intentions and husk is like the one who is the closest to knowing because of his like weird affiliation and situation he has with Alistar I feel like she has to get that talk from husk cuz like maybe cenus knows a lot about Alistar because they were dueling for so long but like husk is the one who how should I say this like husk has a much more like levelheaded straightforward bluntness to him when it comes to like giving exposition to people so I feel like he would just be straight up with Charlie and be like Charlie look Alistar is a really bad guy you need to like get away from him you need to like call off this deal for the hotel you need to split ties with him like he's going to he's absolutely up to something blah blah blah blah blah and this this would be like sewing the seeds for like future antagonist Alistair because him and husk are uh Alistair and husk are like not on very good terms with each other because obviously alar owns husk Soul because he sold it to him whoops and I assume in that deal he sold his slot as like an Overlord maybe maybe that also happened who knows but I feel like it would just make so much sense for husk to die at a later Point not now not now but I could totally see him dying this is the only way I could see him dying is if it's like a self-sacrificial play of like a you to Alis he just goes off and like uh super Glides into an enemy Angel's like Spear and just dies because then technically you can't own a soul that doesn't exist anymore because husk is dead who knows well he's dead dead he he's double dead he's he's dead in hell for real for real so he does it as like purely a to alist but I don't see him doing that yet I don't see him doing that right now so I'm just going to assume that he's not dying now but I do think he's going to die later but not in season 1 there's still so much for him to do I I feel like he's going to have like another sort of loser baby scene with other characters in the show cuz I feel like he's a he's a great character to have in the show for the the type of Storytelling it wants to do because he's just actually like a more realistic character and I mean that in like a he's a realist right Charlie's a dreamer but husk is a realist when he gives angel dust advice his advice is yeah you're a loser we're all losers that doesn't make you special like Charlie would never say that Charlie would never never never never never ever say that to anyone so at least not with her characterization right now um I feel like the hotel needs someone like that because if husk is dead then you have vaggie who is in her own situation um serenus would never do that Nifty is insane aliser is just Alister and angel dust he's like you know he's going through his own arc right now I don't know how I necessarily react to this kind of information but I do say husk is more likely to die because he actually has ties to characters like how would Alistar feel about husk dying how would Charlie feel about husk dying how would angel dust feel about husk dying these characters actually give a these characters actually like care so there would be emotional weight to it because the characters actually give a I am inclined to give a now let's talk about a character that most of the characters don't give a about but I give a about serenus as much as I hate to say it it would make a lot of sense if serenus is Arc the first scene that he's introduced in the show is doing is attacking the hotel and it would be very poetic if he dies defending the hotel when it's being assaulted by Adam and his forces and he dies protecting it not letting it take a single bit of damage with his big Battleship because he lied he didn't actually get rid of the battleship he kept it he was building a bigger and better one specifically if this occasion happened to protect his friends and he ends up dying for it in a in a big self-sacrificial play that would bring his Arc full circle and also be a really weirdly touching moment because the first time we met him he was trying to kill everyone and then he spied on everyone and it was because Charlie chose to put her faith in him and believe in him that he ended up turning himself around and defending the hotel and saving everyone in their in their darkest hour that would actually be a really like if not rushed really powerful moment and Arc and then also if he dies it would have a lot of the characters being like wow I I never thought that serenus would do that and Charlie being really sad and upset maybe angel dust would be sad and upset Alistair wouldn't give a Alistair would be like ah I hated that guy he he up my coat he up my up my whole flow um cuz literally in like the first scene when it's discovered that they he was spying on them uh vaggy and Angel do both sing about like wanting to kill him so it be it'd be really heartwarming if like everyone's like a s pench has saved us wow that's great um why is he not number one I feel like that's not going to happen I feel he is going to defend the hotel but I don't think he's going to die I don't think he's going to die I think the The Narrative set pieces of him like defending the hotel are there I don't think he's going to die um I think that he still has enough of a past history with like Alis that he could reveal some more stuff about him we still don't really know that much about serenus like we know surface level details but we don't really like know know his character I mean we found out he's a crush on Cherry Bomb that kind of came out of nowhere that kind of funny like I don't know I I feel like there's still a lot more they could do with serenus and um it' feel very weird if he were to die so soon when in reality we haven't really gotten that much screen time with him other than like an episode two and then he was just kind of there in episode 6 like he was just kind of there and then all of a sudden he's doing this like big hero moment so let's switch Focus right you may notice that I have two characters left here right those characters are vaggie and angel dust and here's where I surprise you guys my S tier is actually they will die um I think both of these characters are biting the bullet but in different ways so let's talk about both of these um let's talk about my theory first right so my theory is the extermination Theory the final episode is going to take place during the extermination and there's a lot of things that can happen during that number one Charlie and vaggie I don't think that they're going to reconcile until the final episode I don't think they're going to talk to each other until the final episode because for some reason that's just how they like doing these things I've watched h of a boss right and so what I think is going to happen is I think that vaggie is going to finally like be she's going to maybe be in her like Angel gear but she's going to be like protecting people like her old setup her old uniform that she still has and she's going to be protecting people and demons and she's going to find Charlie ad midst the chaos and then Charlie is going to call out to her and vaggie's going to be like kind of running away just defending other demons would be like Charlie what are you doing here and then Charlie's like VY I tried to find you and then they they're trying to sort out all the stuff that happened while they were in the courtroom um cuz I think that after episode 6 vag's just kind to kind of like run away she's going to be like don't look at me don't talk to me or maybe Charlie's going to be like get out leave I think they're going to separate in episode s not talk to each other till episode 8 and then in episode 8 while they're catching up on stuff uh-oh Charlie doesn't see it but vaggie does an attack is coming right for Charlie and vaggie seeing this attack incoming and let's say it's from Adam right it's an attack from Adam vaggie get gets out of the way and pushes Charlie out of the way and then starts to duel Adam or maybe is just purely like mortally wounded in that moment by Adam and this is this is a crazy Theory but maybe because cuz before when an angel died they assumed that it was someone from hell but like when Adam punished vaggie he kind of just like cast her down and then didn't kill her which is kind of weird so my theory is that like there's some kind of law or rule that an Angel can't kill another Angel and my reasoning for this is because if Adam ends up killing vaggie that could call off the entire extermination and then condemn Adam to hell and then Adam gets like punished by Alistair or something like something crazy happens right something something terrible happens to Adam whatever but vaggi dying is the key to stopping the exterminations from like happening and in that same moment it causes heaven to do a rewrite of the rules and reassess things things and because angel dust look at him look at our little guy because Angel Dust has been such a good boy maybe there's like a a flash to the to the extermination while all this stuff with Charlie and value was going on angel dust was protecting other people other demons and being like uh get behind me you know take cover you know all this stuff like he he's making sure that they stay safe cuz they did that like little training episode him and serenus they're like bonded so they're they're doing like little little defensive exercises they take a bunch of the demons into the hotel and defend them and keep them safe and Heaven recognizes that and maybe serenus he did it he did a little bit of trolling he did a little bit of trolling so he's not allowed in heaven but Angel does cuz he's been such a good boy gets into heaven which nullifies his contract with Valentino gets him out of that gets him to Heaven gets him to see his sister cuz for they really want angel dust to go to heaven right and I understand it I get it they're putting a lot of pieces there and a lot of the writing is directing him to look that way so they're either going to kill him and then it's going to be really sad and tragic cuz this character Who's On The Road to Redemption it gets cut short and then that gives us a lot of characterization for for Charlie cuz like oh my God her dream was so close to being a reality and then it got like on GG skilu or she's going to be Vindicated and even more like determined in Her Dream because Angel Dust actually made it to Heaven he actually made it right if angel dust makes it to Heaven which is a way that he dies and he leaves the hotel forever well well where does that leave vaggie that means that out of all these characters she's the one most likely to die isn't she so unfortunately as weird as this is to say like if you were to make me guess from episodes 1 to four I would have said angel dust for sure angel dust would have been the most like my my biggest guess for who would have died right but now that this new episode came out episode six I'm feeling like it's vaggie because what what is vaggie's character right she's an angel and vagi represents a very complex Philosophy for Charlie to overcome because Charlie's philosophy has been like anyone can be redeemed and even though her philosophy has been really simple and basic and Baby goooo Gaga mode the only people she's really seen are angel dust who's in a really shitty situation and Sur pentius serenus is just like a bored guy man he just needs a hobby he just needs friends and he'll be a better person vaggie is a mass murderer of her own people and Charlie has been sleeping with her they're like in a relationship and have been in a relationship and vaggie's been lying to her but vaggie genuinely believes in Charlie and believes in the hotel but her past is like like vaggie's character is a perfect embodiment of Charlie's philosophy but Charlie's actually having to like stick to her morals because well vaggie has killed hundred hundreds and hundreds of her people like Adam said one of my best soldiers named after the thing that I love oh yeah stupid line of course Adam would name someone a vagina cool whatever when this is done and and in one of the early in the first episode it's like oh how many people did you kill and she was like oh I killed this many people assumably vaggie killed in like the hundreds cuz she did multiple exterminations she did multiple of them and she did them better than anyone like that would show that this character has so much like is so much gray to him which is why I use Monokuma cuz like the black and white of like the white of the Angel side but the black of the devil side with the little patch on their eye like vaggie has whoa this Monokuma plush is actually very emblematic of vaggy you never knew it's so despair inducing dangan [Music] RPA I just flashback like five years in my chat oh my God anyways has H tell yippe it would just be so interesting for Charlie to have to confront this issue of vaggie which is why I think the writers are going to kill her immediately so that they can't have that conversation and then make it so they can't talk in episode 7 that's why I think this is going to happen that that's my biggest thought process because like vaggie as a character is going to take more than one episode to to dive into and I think it's a lot easier to think about vaggie and write her sort of situationship in the show if she's dead and on top of this let's think about these two characters in s tier right Charlie the main character gives the most about angel dust and vagi and even serenes to a degree right Charlie cares about all these characters the one she might care about the least is like aliser right but Charlie definitely cares about all of these characters who are like the denisons of the hotel she cares about the two residents uh serenus and angel dust a lot because they're like basically proof that her experiment actually works that people can be redeemed Sinners can be redeemed and go to heaven she cares about vagila cuz she's in a relationship with her right so God it would just be so cruel if any of these characters were to die for Charlie so which one would it be the most sad if were to die well the one who's in a relationship with her who died protecting her because at the end of the day despite her past despite who she was she's never going back and all she wants to do is save Charlie and keep her dream of the hotel alive and as she's dying she says I love you or something like she gets hit in a spot where it's like the movie spot so it's like she get a f injury but it's like a slow bleed out so she can have like one last conversation with Charlie and Charlie asks her like was it all a lie were you just doing this because you felt bad or guilty and then vaggie says like no what we had was real I really did love you I'm sorry and then she dies and it's like this really sad moment that could be super powerful that could actually like that could hit me that could hit me where I'm not expecting it and then Heaven rewrites the rules angel dust gets into Heaven Charlie in one day season finale Cliffhanger has just lost angel dust because her experiment worked and vaggie because well vaggie died so the hotel could live on and so the extermination could end which would actually make vaggie's character one of the most important in the show because it would make like the most change in the world and she did it for Charlie so then these characters changed their nature because they met a demon who was full of happiness and hope isn't that poetic so in all in all and all in my conclusion I think that angel Dustin vag are going to dip out after season one maybe Angel DUS gets a little bored in heaven you know maybe he wants to go to double hell I was at this hotel and all my friends oh man I miss him well I'm going to do crack and then he does crack and then he like goes back to the hotel he's like whoa how'd I end up back here and it's like Angel do what are you doing back here I don't know I just smoked a bunch of crack and then I ended up back here you smoked crack and then Char like face Palms is like I guess you can spend another N9 months in the hotel and then he like trying to rehabilitate him again that'd be kind of funny that'd be a funny way to bring him back but um that also be a bit cheap I also do want to mention just for the record what if it's a fake out death this is my other ultimate like left hook curveball Theory um just in case the people the the the rumors are complete like you curveball Theory we actually just see a flashback and it's of like one of the Sinners maybe aler probably angel dust it would be it's of them when they're alive and uh it's their last day when they're alive and then they die as a human and they get reincarnated in hell as a sinner when you have a show that's based around characters who have all lived lives and then died and ended up in heaven or hell it's really easy to say you're going to kill one of them because hey they're all already dead so what are you going to do send me to double hell like what are you going to do actually so all these characters they uh I guess with the exception of like character like Charlie and maybe vaggie cuz she's an Angel um all these characters could just be be killed again right they could just be killed once in life and then shown him a flashback and then hey we did Kill angel dust in the finale we showed a flashback of when he was alive and then he died and then he respawned in Hell cool so we actually did show someone dying I would feel very cheated if they did that similarly if one of the characters were to sacrifice themselves and die AKA vaggy and then somehow through Divine literal God intervention is like vaggie by showing yourself a soul of true kindness and compassion we deem thou worthy of a second chance or maybe through some when an angel dies in hell they respawn in hell I don't know I hope that they don't do a fake out death I'll feel very cheated maybe they will I don't know the court room scene was kind of stupid but uh yeah oh yeah you know what I love to do with these videos surprise final entry fat nuggets I think that fat nuggets has the most potential to die in the show because if fat nuggets were to die angel dust would be so sad so yeah thanks for
