Randy in the regular season: I'm pretty good
Randy in the postseason: I AM A GOLDEN GOD
Questions- 1) if the pitcher didnโt step off and delivered a strike to home plate- the batter would have to swing or be called out on strikes? The batter would at best think to throw his bat out there and try to avoid Randy sliding in?
2) If the pitcher somewhat ignored Randy and delivered a strike 3, would it matter at what time Randy crossed home? IE if he crosses home and a strike three crosses the plate just after, does the run count?
3) if the pitcher delivers and it hits Randy, say he purposely throws it low and hits the runner, is this interference? Does the pitch matter if it was a ball or strike in that scenario?
Thanks! I religiously watch baseball and pitched once upon a time but have never seen this situation exactly where the pitcher couldnโt possibly have got the runner, so were there options for him to ignore the runner and pitch into any of these situations?
Cards got fleeced
Why do people trade with the Rays?
Shockingly, the only guy who I've seen fleece the Rays was Jeff fucking Bridich
Why would Randy be eligible for the Rookie of the Year if he played last season?
