hi there this one is intentionally meant for those of us who are struggling on a low budget and working our way through a shelf full of ramen noodle bricks a lot of things have been said about ramen noodles and not all of them can be repeated in public this dish will help make your ramen noodles good and tasty and better than what you get with that mysterious flavor packet that comes with the noodles it does require you to add spinach at the end but that's optional and if you make this without the spinach then the budget for this dish should come to about 10 to 12 times the cost of a brick of ramen or in other words about 250 instead of 15 cents one part of this dish I really want to recommend and you should try this anytime you use canned tuna and that is instead of just eating the tuna from the can or mixing it with with mayo fry the tuna in a cast-iron skillet the tuna takes on an entirely different flavor and this flavor is outstanding you won't believe the difference you get when you fry canned tuna you can use any flavor of ramen noodles for this recipe because we're giving the flavor packet the treat and it deserves all we're doing is dicing up some very basic mirepoix vegetables namely carrots celery and onion and we mince up four cloves of garlic the carrots should be kept separate because we'll be adding them separately all we need is a can of tuna and you can use the cheap stuff if you want you can use either tuna in oil or water whichever you prefer stir fries are fast which is why you want to prepare your ingredients in advance and now we bring out a cast iron wok we heat it on the stovetop and medium while we bring the water to a boil and boil the ramen noodles until they're soft and al dente we drain the noodles because this isn't a noodle soup and once the wok is good and hot we're ready to begin frying first we sear the tuna stir frying it for a few minutes until the tuna is dry and more solid [Music] if you don't have a caster and walk you can also make this stir fry in a cast-iron skillet we then remove the tuna and start frying the vegetables carrots are a hard vegetable and we have to fry them longer than the others so we fry the carrots first until they're soft then we add the other vegetables and fry them all until they're soft and tender add some ground ginger for a touch of oriental sweetness now we add the ramen noodles the noodles take on a darker color which is when we mix in our eggs and stir it all around to cook the eggs now we add some salt some white pepper and soy sauce for flavor and color once everything is good and hot we mix in the cooked tuna and at this point we're just about ready for additional greens we can add some fresh spinach and cook everything until the spinach is wilted [Music] and with that a ramen noodle stir-fry is done and ready to serve stir-fries are a lot of fun to make and you can make this in a cast-iron skillet if you don't have a wok but whatever you use to make this make sure it's cast iron even ramen noodles are better when you make them in cast iron and you won't be so sick of them after this I hope you've enjoyed this and as always please post your comments below thank you for watching you
