"Dripping with meaning"?
I find her performance notably inferior to the Zimerman recording across all movements.

Yea this was the performance that really brought me into classical music. Slowly, however, I have grew to love her playing of Rach’s 3rd piano concerto more, which is my most favorite piece of all time.
I listen to this recording all the time, I absolutely adore it. Excellent pick!
I think I just heard notes in the left hand that I've never heard before because of how crisp she is (and the balance between the symph, which I appreciated). Thanks you for sharing.
Masterpiece!!
My favorite Rachmaninoff Piano concerto as well, what a pleasure!
Anna Fedorova is such a wonderful Rach interpreter and I love her playing. That Alla Marcia in movement 1 gets me every time. She’s phenomenal playing Tchaikovsky 1 as well.
I have to say, while still pretty good, I wish the third movement lived up to the first two. The climax of the first movement is one of those few musical moments that gets my heart racing.
