I'm talking about 17.5 version of Visual Studio 2022 in order to use this feature you have to upgrade your Visual Studio let's see how this feature will work here I am having the visual studio 2022 and I'm talking about the 17.5 version let's click on this help and click on this about Visual Studio you will see we are having this 17.5.0 if you are using some previous or old versions of Visual Studio then you have to upgrade your Visual Studio in order to use this feature let's assume that here I am having a web application and in this web application I want to add a new class I can simply right click on this one go to this ad and click on this new item this is the same process that we always follow to add a new item but this window has been added recently here instead of having that large window we will simply have a very small window to add a new feature here I can give any meaningful name to my file let's say here I am having simple and the extension is CS based on the extension of the file the visual studio will add a new file over here let's click on this one you will see a new class with name sample.cs has been added over here let's add few more things also click on this add go to this new item and let's say this time I want to add index.html so let's remove the Cs and use this HTML you will see I'm having this index.html so based on the extension you can add your files over here now let's talk about these CS htmls let's right click on this page go to add and click on this new item here I am typing let's say my name dot CS HTML click on this add button and there we are we are having this CS HTML file over here there are also so many great things that you can perform by using this window let's right click on this name of this project go to add click on this new item and here let's say I want to add a new file inside a folder so for that first I want to add a folder name here let's say it is common and inside that command I want to add a new file with name my class dot CS you will see we are having a folder with name common and then we are having a new class over here it means if I am adding a new file over here in this Visual Studio by using this new Option then I can create a number of folders over here so let's say it is a then B then C and then I'm adding a new file which is index.html click on this add button see we are having this a folder then we are having B then C and inside this C folder we are having this index.html file now let's assume that you are having a scenario where you want to search through some templates the old window that we used to have so what we can do we can again right click on this one go to this ad click on this new item and here you will see we are having a button so old templates click on this one and you will get the old window you can also click on this compact view to get the new window but this is how you can get the old window and you can search through all the templates that are available over here what do you think about this new feature of Visual Studio I think I really like this feature what is your feedback on this feature let me know in the comment section below thank you for watching have a great day foreign [Music]
