hi i'm paul order i'm the head designer here and founder of vistapodium so i'm here today to explain to you in three easy steps how are you going to make this planter um but before i go any further please subscribe to my youtube channel below because we've got lots of new content coming out explaining all about different color boxes and how we use them on walls i'm using the planters and i'll talk to you about other products and and other technical solutions that we can offer okay let's begin so i'm going to talk you through the three easy steps to make that wonderful planter so you're going to start off with your aluminium powder coated planter which is about 31 inches long by like eight inches deep you can buy these from any good garden center or your home deeper or low something like that um you buy this because you don't want it to rust so you don't want any sort of you know mild steel planters and then inside you'll see that i've inserted some polystyrene okay step two is the polish diary now again this can be bought from your home depot your loans or your garden center or builders merchants any little one and you cut this from a sheet of larger port size and get a few of these out it's quite cheap you cut it with a bread knife that's really easy to cut and then that will just be cut to the inner measurements of this plastic just slot it in let me just show you so it's nice and simple as you can see it so that's step two okay the last bit the most important bit is the plants now these plants have been developed to have uv stability and a fire retardancy now we've blended these two chemicals there's nothing else in the market that does that we've all all lasted tested and we're proven here and let me just show you the model slide these over the camera so we're going to be using a lush green texture box which is basically the whole backdrop we're planting and then we highlight that with the lovely uh forest flames beautiful red leaf it's fantastic you'll see it mm-hmm let me just open this box up so you can see how these are packed really well packed a little divided in here you can see there's about 35 to 38 different parts in there at all put in groups and you'll see that how i've laid them out and that's how you use them so efficiency you want these to be kept nicely organized the forest flooding really lovely i love these we've only just brought this one out this is this is one of our newest plants and then when you get these out of the box the most important thing is to open them up you really need to sort of manipulate these so you get a nice poor looking plant look at that they're wonderful so then we're gonna use those in a minute so what i'm gonna do first is on this stage three is really talking through it so i've basically opened my green flash screen texture box and i put them all into groups i'm going to use the bigger parts at the back and slot these in these these create the backdrop for your little display see that you're slotting it's really easy one more put this one in here so as i'm building the layers i'm basically tearing it down so you're going to get these two little plants at the back and pop these firmly slightly in front of this and then we're going to use a big filler that we always use on these and you'll see this in the texture box which is a ruscus and there are sort of mixed greens with a variegated edge to it but again these scale from the ivs and uh the ferns and the irish yield and you get this lovely tearing effect and then you really want to get some symmetry in here so you put them either side the groups otherwise it looks messy you don't want that you want some sort of uniform effect here and you can see how it's starting to build up we have the camera to catch that and then front here i'm going to slot in some color with the grasses that will just cascade over the front of the planter and that just gives you a nice freedom of effects then we're going to use these boxes which are very small some of these have got the seeds on and then we've got some other greens as well so i'm going to slot these in the corners [Music] either side so you've got this lovely tearing effect and then a few that will get filled in at the back because you want these parts to look good from the back and the front you can see i'm starting to take the shape then i'm going to use the foliage parts the forest flame which is the purists and these ones are really going to be the plants that are going to highlight the whole thing but you really need to again open these up just slot them in you want them to look natural and these are best position when they're really thought so they're all done they've got a few more eggs i'm going to go slightly over the top of this and get this looking really lush here we go so these these forex planes i mean basically you can use these for you know any season really but you know coming up to christmas then you can use these on your on your front of the house they also go inside and out so you can use them anyway you can use them in the summer um so any season really but you know you could you could really swap out the point settings which you'll get at christmas side and use these and i'm going to put a few more and i'm going to go a little bit over the top make it really lush nearly there let's put one more in here quite full and obviously you can spend a bit more time i'm just trying to go through this fairly fast so you can see you know me putting it together then rather than taking the usual time out of this so one more in here and there you go that's it that's how it's going to look that's your finished look okay that's it for today so please subscribe to my youtube channel below and if you have any
