you guys to give us some cues and we'll give you some A's and we'll start it off with the cue from my am and my mom asks congratulations with welcome as she didn't ask that that's not very question but she clarifies because says congratulations then question how proud are all your parents and then thinking emoji star eye emoji happy hands emoji well I can tell you that my mom is very proud of me she answered her own question which was her intention [Music] she's very proud of me I know she's very proud of me I can't wait to see her actually I by the time you're seeing this I will have already seen her so hi mom but my dad says first our first subscriber our first commenter he was the first okay now that that's out of your systems we can get started with real questions here we go a couple different people asked this aged toast underscore art on Twitter thank you he asked what are some character design tropes that you hate and then somebody else on Twitter asked what are some of your favorite elements and traits that you use in your own characters or other people's characters obviously yeah shoes are definitely like my number one line they just look like oppa Jane loves them 2020 shoe is like my favorite thing in the world hey guys really likes feet I don't like the feet pointy shoes uh spiky hair big eyebrows oh boy oh my god I love big swords Oh someone someone's gonna take that really I mean do you wanna that's literally just class it's just cloud eating big swords and aatrox and demons okay dint Imps but my least favorite character tropes we can all say we're all gonna say it but like the bold man big nose even way lady tunes like Elmer Fudd character is like my least favorite design I love that say that's cute I appreciate that and I appreciate that you don't like elmer fudd clip the first thing that came to mind from troops I hate is the like sexy adult woman wearing doll little girl clothes and she has pigtails I hate that that has deeper issues anything that's kind of like lolly yeah I do not like wearing thongs I cannot be ourselves as minions helps us big kids comment if we should do that we're gonna do it our way but just tell us okay okay wait so Claire what do you what are some of your favorite germs um so I think it's because I played so much Final Fantasy when I is little but I I really like bright clashing patterns like a lot of ornate patterns bright patterns layered on top of each other um I really like over-the-top proportions so if it's like a little dude with a giant axe or something I like that exaggerated Anatomy probably anything with feathers like you know my Blackwing deck I probably go for just honestly like a howl in Howl's Moving Castle and he's like half bird beast I I think that's really cool and maybe moody eyes all right the last thing I really like is a general troop character design tropes I love Mohawks obviously well I guess it's as much a trope as anything else we've said yeah I guess it's not a trope but it's a physical I like tropes associated with Mohawks though Punk's rebel all that kind of stuff I like visors pretty much any kind of mask or visor to draw the face that way yeah I don't have to draw the face I especially like visors that give more or less eyes than humans are supposed have one I I really love that I love big long arms and short legs but I like guerrilla proportions or like mr. incredible and gold just and I like gold I love gold gold I might say that I love gold design tropes that I hate I hate when all of the characters in a in a world all are like have the exact same body types like like a like a Marvel's comic Marvel comic from like day these were like all the dudes are just have like this one default body all the women have this one like default body and then all their outfits are exactly was saying but with like a few extra adornments I hate that like hanna-barbera ask like I don't think but I hate you man which brings me to my second trope I hate barbarians like that whole like like wearing like just like either super rip dudes like impossibly rip dudes and they're like really busty chicks with fat asses and big legs and then they're like and they're like not wearing anything and like the the character design is just like they have a headband and long hair and a loincloth and then just like this jacket like Conan the Barbarian is like my least favorite thing though I think Nick pointed that out he was just like I hate kkona but I was like yeah I think that's my least favorite character I can think of really specifically I hate when people draw dragons and they give them noise like fish fin thrill yours like I don't know if this is too specific if you guys can visualize what I'm talking about it alright that's that's it that's my list okay okay so I'm actually looking at my portfolio right now to see what the common threads are but some of my favorite things are anything that's like an organic shape so I go I'm here for the swirlies I'm here for the swoopy if I have here for the frillies I have an opportunity to straw a ribbon or to add like a curlicue to someone's hair I'm gonna do it okay and I also this kind of goes along with it I really like drawing like eyelashes I also really like drawing dot eyes sometimes our that's that's the duality of Ailish that's part of it we get that both of those don't like I'm not super easily bothered by stylistic choices usually but stuff like it's not but you love snot girl do you like I do like snot girl a lot and I'm gonna say that she has more swoop ease than it's not so it as prioritize the Salukis and like the organic shapes and that comic character but no I'm talking about like snot bubbles oh that's like like Cub chew I guess yeah thank you come true so close to being cute and like I can appreciate the idea but I have a thing with snot and spit and I just am NOT about that wait no I love Hocking a loogie on my toes subscribers I like when things are blocking I don't really like doing the circle game mostly I made the character trope that I go to the most is like I just make every cat character I have like a fashionista like like she knows but she knows that she's hot it's like in a cool way it's not in like a Widowmaker Miss Fortune kind of way big hands I like and maybe getting rid of as many limbs as possible maybe to baby just legs maybe they don't have eyes they don't have a face I don't know just picture phalanx that's a little guy there you go things I don't like I hate misfortune i i i do not like the busty seductress archetype i think that we can maybe move away from that now i think that we can represent women in a different way I hate the buff like jock guy it's like the common barbarian king like we're just glitz Colette with like the super exaggerated like buff guys like they've had their time they're really huge shoulders and anybody feat in many ways and you know what I'm realizing what you're describing or I guess what I just described is pretty much the exact opposite of a little guy yeah yeah it's a big guy he's a big guy hey it's not being big yeah I know I'm talking about so following kind of the same pattern what is your favorite and least favorite part of the drawing process my favorite part uh it's all out of yesterday I'm sketching mm-hmm I love figuring out the pose and the proportions and the sketching and all that fun stuff the research I think my least favorite process is maybe finalizing things or see I don't want to say painting because I like painting if I'm knowing that I'm gonna paint but if I have to take a sketch that I already like and then amp it up it's like but so it's so nice as it is so I don't know if like I'm looking at my work right now like my work is pretty loose and sketchy and like it'll like it that way and that's how I want it to look finalized so I guess I guess my least favorite part is outlining because I feel like that absolutely kills the fun and like looseness on a sketch and backgrounds hey pipe roads poor backgrounds like I just I just don't do them right now I I definitely am gonna find a way to do them to my liking but boy oh boy there is no environment I'll draw like a little bit of the that's about it I love that when it's just a little bit of a suggestion this that's my way of doing so ya know if you know where they are sometimes that works a little bit of grass a little bit of maybe a rock so this is kind of a tough one because I I think my process is very homogenized because I I don't usually do with sketching face sometimes I do it's really inconsistent I'll just like throw down color and then work from there often and I guess that's my favorite part is getting a composition to work while painting it in and like painting over things and repainting ending on one foot like I don't know it's very like push and pull add color and take it away and I don't use the eraser tool I just like go over with more color and and I think that's an important part of my process for keeping the picture loose and also it's like a philosophical thing I feel like very present in the art when I do that I may see over here I've always thought that it was so cool how you treat your dear digital drawings as if you're doing them in real life like you stick to the same rules and that definitely like affects how it turns out it's really cool yeah that's very important to me I have a painting degree a painting that way it's just it's good for me to do it that way and even if I like how something is looking not to treat it as precious and being able to just paint right over it and do the next thing and that that's just a lot of fun especially if I get like a good palette happening and I'm just excited about the colors and shapes and then where I run into trouble is overworking things so I would say towards the end sometimes I can just like stop when something still looks fresh and loose and I love that but I also fall into a trap a lot where I overwork and I'll like zoom in there's like one part that's really detailed and then it just looks stiff and I mean I enjoy rendering which is why I do that and that's probably my least favorite because after I do that I step away and I realize some things worse or some things off and it's hard to undo when you've overdone I also really don't like inking but I don't think so I don't think I can say that I used to it's not because I don't people I just I don't do it anymore so my inking skills aren't there so then I don't like it because I'm not good at it really yeah I think you don't think about my favorite part actually is probably inking I think I enjoy most after I have all of my ideas solidified with a sketch going in and finalizing and making everything look really neat and I try to deviate from it to help me learn and grow every once in a while I try to get rid of lines and just paint without to try to you know broaden my ideas of things like shape and weight and light and all of these different things but for me my favorite thing to do and it's always has been is is inking you know the final line work and that's because when I first started drawing I only ever worked traditionally and I really never used color I pretty much always just used pen and pencil and I would do it under drawing in pencil then I go over with pen and then I'd erase the under drawing and that's pretty much how I did all of my art work until maybe my senior year of high school so I developed my line work skills far more than anything else and before mass art I didn't I wasn't good with color I wasn't good with light or value and I'm still a little bit better with all of those things but you'll notice that a lot of my pieces I don't really use to like heavy contrast with values or anything like that like I tend to just fill in areas with color and I kind of imply shape with you know the colors as I fill them in but that part of the process is maybe 20% of my entire time that I spend on a piece and the majority of it is just me making sure the line work looks nice and one of pieces when I finish a piece and I'm not happy with the line work no matter what the rest of the piece looks like I'm not happy with it so I definitely say that doing the inking is my my favorite part and I have a couple of least favorite parts and they they vary but James Jane said backgrounds and I would have to agree with that too I never use backgrounds and if I do I have to put myself in a whole other mindset like you know I I actually I in a composition and everything and I'm you know like alright this is gonna be a whole scene there's gonna be a background in it and when that's the case I usually don't use line work because I don't have the patience to do line work for characters and a background so I would say probably that is my least favorite part just adding something other than characters is is not something I enjoy doing with my pieces had all of these things in my head when I was younger was like these are things you have to do if you want to be a good artist and I thought that doing backgrounds was one of them but I realized a while ago that not all artists make pieces with full backgrounds and scenes and everything a lot of my favorite artists don't they utilize the page in the composition of their canvas in such a way that they don't need to add a background they can just have a really interesting dynamic character and then maybe like one or two shapes in the background to kind of flesh out the composition to make it an engaging piece when you're looking at it but you don't need that kind of thing and that's sort of what I'm working with is finding ways to make my pieces interesting on their own without having to force myself to do a background or an environment it's always it's always so much fun to figure out like how your tastes have influenced what you're doing like consciously or not because yeah obviously if you don't like it you're not gonna do it right or you'll be like me where you're really frustrated one part of the piece and then you're in complete euphoria the other part of the piece because what I do is like I've known Jane for like five years now and only have I just really realized that we work oppositely we're complete opposites with our process that's so funny to me so I enjoy the planning stage I like doing a lot of thumbnails and like figuring stuff out and I let myself like be loose and have fun and that's stage my least favorite part is actually the drawing part because I get pretty bogged down and like trying to like recapture the spirit or making sure that everything looks right and I get kind of like I do what Claire was talking about or it's like I super overworked stuff um art it's so tempting yeah it really it really is and the whole time I'm just like ready to get to the painting part when I do like a final piece I I really like to have like a full Illustrated thing with like a character in a setting time tell a story and I feel like that is part of like why I tend to work so slow is because I feel like I do need to do this this foundational drawing part first I want to give it I want to give the Clare's method a shot I feel like that might speak to me in it in a new way I mean it might figure out something else but drawing is my least favorite it's kind of like a love-hate relationship because I'm very frustrated until I'm not and then I enjoy it and then I really I enjoy a line work I really like the expressiveness and the character that line work has but I don't always go for it depends on how I'm feeling look like the type of line work I do because sometimes I love a really thin line and sometimes I love I really like juicy line and then my ultimate favorite part it yeah used to ever seen like a nice brush pen is John I know what you're talking about you see I described it as juicy but I know what you're talking about a my most favorite part is painting when I can finally be like do color do lighting do values do rendering but those are all things that I love that I don't do enough because I don't get past the drawing stage first and then my favorite part is like my ultimate favorite part like the most satisfying part is putting like the little highlights or like changing the outline color to to like like a rim light situation Oh like that too that kind of stuff that's my my love-hate relationship creating a piece of artwork I I think my favorite part is well I one of my favorite parts for sure is like blocking in the composition and figuring out like I guess primarily in the composition um I've been doing that a lot in my personal work figuring out how they can fill the frame and interesting way it's been really fun and then I also like blocking in color lately I haven't been working with wine which is making me enjoy drawing a lot more and a lot faster and cleaner because I don't have a very steady hand so I've always had trouble with wine work but I like the way on the thick outline looks so that kind of Tears them back and forth and then my absolutely favorite part is like detail I hate adding detail I didn't know people like you guys existed I really don't like that in detail and I don't really like like Batman's like if I've been doing I've I've been doing lately it's mostly just an overlay of like one color on something something simple like that yeah that's pretty much an idea okay so that was enough art right we're gonna talk about that any more like housewives subjected is real here's the tea is Nick real good my physics spells be video one on twitter has his feet are real okay Nick's real probably at least his feet are nugs and butts on Twitter wanted to know in a full-on fight melee weapons allowed which of the cast would emerge victorious I would love I've always wanted to get into fight saving up and saying this is a because I'm not gonna gender fight we have to get fired I mean I used to me my brother didn't have a great relationship growing up just because we were twins and he would just fight because it was like his twins I guess but I want to be in a real fight that's just like you know he pulls my hair and I punch my face I have always wanted to punch someone that have a lot of pent-up anxiety yeah I want to just like get that oh I've always wanted a good look somebody deserves it subjectively brawler subjectively Oh we literally just like each other can i yeah I don't think I would win but I think I'd maybe get like third I'm tall but Jack's the tallest I have a lot of victory royale but I think tell us in the comments wait who do you usually yeah yeah through first and execute it with shinobi like precision about weapons but I want to know can I piggyback off this question what kind of weapons what everyone have yeah listen I want a bigger eye poison like wait a bit I want that I can't stop thinking about like a ball and chain like a mace things okay a mace is not on a chain you're thinking of a flight ok brass knuckles next question or experts it I decided my dual swords yeah Nick what kind of what would you have for a weapon I'm I am a cancer so I would wait a minute all right what's the next question Harry porkchop wants to know how funny do you guys think you are and that they say that sounded like a threat but I meant it as a genuine question do you think we made a video about office characters drawn in the you know spies tickled me because I think part of our appeal is that we only really talk about things that we think are funny I think we're very genuine but it's really up to you to decide if our if our genuineness is funny or not quite fun okay here's something to kind of cool us down a little what are your top five favorite games um but I said I'm probably forgetting like one of my favorite games but I said old school runescape Monster Hunter 4 ultimate grannies meowing it's a good games Island and Dark Souls 2/3 and my fifth favorite game what am I forgetting Nick you seem to remember everything that I forget do any of us have the guts to say League of Legends we play that almost all of you guys put in your fifth slot that all League of Legends was designed to my particular taste in visual it would probably be my favorite game because it's it's so fun oh not my favorite absolute game but one of my favorite games because it's a lot of fun to play it's the gameplay but the visuals seems to be less of a game bit more of a punishing it oh come on is fun but the gameplay itself is so repetitive as you wouldn't say sapphires my fans it's one of my favorite games from childhood I guess overwatch overwatch is one of my favorite games too because the gameplay is you know really fun I think the characters are all really well designed so yeah my top 5 games the first one is Final Fantasy 7 I have a lot of like nostalgia associated with all of the Final Fantasy games because I used to play them with my older brother and I remember being like three or four and sitting in the dark in the basement past my bedtime watching him play the game and I just thought that was so cool and then also Final Fantasy 14 the MMO because I played that a lot and I met a lot of people who I still talk to through it so just for like that socializing opportunity it's also a really good game but that's what's on the list and then a really bad game I really enjoy is Digimon World for oh my god it's very I also had it when I was a kid and I played with my sister we're so bad at it it's so hard it's not for children and it really is it's not for 22 year old that's not for me I also like pokemon gold the original I play it on Virtual Console now a lot of these are nostalgia associated I guess but things I liked as a kid that I still enjoy today it's kind of the same thing as did you want to world for but for Pokemon where it's really hard for no reason and there's so many mechanics that are so unforgiving because Game Freak at the time wasn't like a big studio they had a limited team and it's just like I love the weird old sprites it feels like such an accomplishment when you're little weak tea and gets through the Elite Four I'm actually trying to soft reset for a shiny hole right now so that and then probably Fire Emblem awakening because that's just a good game and I really enjoy strategy yes yes yeah I it's a good game I like the other fire emblems too but that's probably my favorite one it's the first one I played through um okay so I've done this list a couple of times now so I know it pretty well Team Fortress 2 one of my favorite games of all time super inspirational for me for my artwork played it way too much when I was a kid and I still play it now not as often as I used to thank God but I do play it a lot and I really really like it Skyrim not a game that I still play but a game that I was obsessed with for a really long time and kind of introduced me to a whole new type of genre of games and also influenced my art a lot I love the Dragons in that game then we got pokemon sapphire because it was really the first video game I ever first video game i ever owned first Pokemon game I ever played and just so many great memories associated with it still love it today I love alpha sapphire to the remakes are great you know i i'll keep overwatch on there I haven't played overwatch in a long time I still really love it you know not obviously not crazy about Blizzard but I still love overwatch love the characters love the art love the gameplay still a great game and then Borderlands 2 hoping to replace that with more reliance 3 we'll see I haven't played Borderlands through yet when it comes out on Steam I'm gonna get it hopefully it's better than Borderlands 2 so far Borderlands 2 is the best Borderlands game I played but still love that game great replayability terrible story tell writing but I still love it and yeah that's that's my 5 ok mine are also pretty there either like nostalgia based or they're like one of them is a game that I act didn't play at all I watched my friend play it comes to afraid to play it but actually huh so I have to say of course as I say every electrically Hamtaro in Denmark it really is a video game that means this day I'll go back and play it I love it it's it's a really adorable cute world with little they're barely puzzles but it's just a very good like interactive super cute adventure game and I still love it it's cute and it was fun um Pokemon of course I loved these into one category because I thought it would be cheating if I just listed like five Pokemon games but I said that pokemon crystal moon and alpha sapphire were like my ultimate favorites for Pokemon games I have crystal was my favorite silver was like my very first pokémon name so I'm super duper nostalgic about um dodo in general but crystal you could play as a girl and the cartridge was sparkly and blue so like what is there not to love it was super cool being a girl in a Pokemon game as a kid and then moon is just like my most recent favorite I I liked gallery I liked sword and shield but not as much as a Lola and then Animal Crossing is also like a franchise that's always been really near and dear to my heart I spent what like an entire summer playing it and it was like the best summer ever it was like 10 or something and it ever since that animal crossing has always been such a like relaxing comforting like fun and cute experience and then I'm not much of like a I don't know like traditional video games I kind of have a harder time getting into because I don't think that I'll get those like I don't think I'll be good at them I don't think I'll be able to play them I've proven that wrong playing like breath of the wild and within the fortnight I actually really enjoy fortnight for it it is the first shooter game that I've ever enjoyed but I tried to Rack my brain for games that really stuck with me or like had like strong emotional reactions for me because I like playing kind of like indie video games for story and that kind of thing so I really like dream daddy oh yeah I would really I really I really liked all the characters and I liked the corny interactions and I thought it was fun and then the last game that I have on my list is a Doki Doki literature club because the way that they the way that that's spoilers but it's it's been a while so get with it the way that that story creates tension and a sense of horror and like it's like it's metaphor wait it's a horror you got great ha ha and this perfect though like it's just it's a really well-made it's a really well-made scary game that I could never play by myself at her because I'm a huge baby and I like I like the darker stuff sometimes so then my games really really cute and then one that isn't actually it's actually scary first I think I'm gonna say I think heartgold this is probably a good game yeah Ruby's pretty close good game the cult was kind of like I didn't think I could play pokemon when I was like a certain age and then diamond pearl came out and I was that exact same thing my friend got her gold and I was like dude I'm like 14 or 15 I can't play it but I totally ban that it was awesome Kirby I ride is genuinely one my favorite game of all time and like I just love creepy games a lot and it's a really fun racing game and it's mostly about the city trial a game that I didn't play off movie three and I just don't really have that I've been really liking playing is risk of rain too I've been playing it again game super during the first game but the same games a really good translation to 3d I love the designs I love that everything's really ambiguous or in every character as a master might be a robot that might not be and like they're really cool and the game is really fun to play for b64 I think the crystal shards also one of my favorite games a great game in it oh yes have a fantastic memory about playing off my bro okay and one last question is someone on YouTube asks for any budding artists who are struggling with motivation or feeling disappointed with their works what would you give them as advice so their passion doesn't distant question but try a bunch of different ways to draw something we were talking about it earlier doing the artistic process in different steps like how Claire starts with like the underdrawing painting first and then builds where it's like you know I guess I start with the drawing first and then I do the color and under painting later try things out of order draw things you wouldn't normally draw and that would definitely get your brain either realizing like I hate drawing that's or oh I really like drawing this for me personally I tend to get in a more comfortable space working if it's either really late at night and I get wicked 10-minute moment of quiet where I can finally just stop thinking and like my brain is tired enough that I could just draw what I want to and not have to like to worry so much about it yeah try to find that way you can open up you're so cheesy but your subconscious mind cuz that's like where all this stuff you really want to do is yeah I mean I honestly I feel like this a lot um I do feel disappointed in myself sometimes but I think the best thing to do when that happens is to know that it's okay to take a break that - it's okay my fear in art school or something like it's harder of course you have deadlines to meet and things like that but taking breaks and step back like when you're really beating yourself up calling it a night and going to sleep and waking up the next morning helps tremendously sometimes if that's an option that you don't being rested and eating enough I would say that that should always be an option you know I think that for me especially art is less technical and more social and you know emotional and it so much depends on how you take care of yourself and the people that you surround yourself with and this is coming from a very antisocial person but I I think that the reason I've been able to really be successful as an artist is because of the people that I've surrounded myself with and I and in the way I take care of myself and I think that that's something that people often don't feel is important enough that starving artists have to be suffering to find their creative genius and it doesn't have to be that way yeah I think I think that there are conscious decisions that I mean obviously everyone has different limitations you know either financially or time restrictions then if you just have enough time to sit down and reflect on yourself and learn enough about yourself to know you know like well Jane was saying how it helps her to stay up late and that gives her better ideas for me the later I stay out the stupider I get and the less I'm less productive I am and you know if I don't get enough sleep I'm not gonna be productive you know if I don't eat a good breakfast in the morning I'm not going to be productive so being able to know your limits know yourself know yourself emotionally know yourself physically and really be able to take the best care of yourself and when you find yourself in those places when you're you're losing your motivation and your your you feel like you don't have that same drive that used to have anymore that's when it's really important to have other people around you who can get you back up on your feet you know find friends who think the same things that you think are funny find friends who are interested in the same things that you find friends who have completely different interests than you but fine friends who are always there who would be able to you know get you back in your feet and that doesn't mean you know you talk to them and you say hey I feel like I suck at all right now can you make me better at art maybe it's hey do you want to play League of Legends right now and then to play League of Legends and that helps clear up your mind whatever it may be you know I think that that's a really important thing to have for everyone not just artists yeah also to have your peers around you help cultivate discipline as an artist because I mean everyone gets down and it's really hard when you feel down on your art because I do believe that art making is very emotional I think it's intrinsically this very expressive way of working um so even when it is hard and you don't feel like making art you should just like push through it and like Jane said try other things different modes of working but I think it's also good every once in a while just to draw something really indulgent like yeah absolutely I think a lot of people feel like there's a certain kind of art they should be making like oh I should be making a comic or I should be doing this or like this kind of character design and maybe it's not really what you want to do so just being indulgent for yourself and doing something in your comfort zone every once in a while to balance out all the other experimentation it can be really good because it's like if you're doing something you're comfortable with it gets your confidence back up yeah there are a lot of things like like just within within the concept of struggling with motivation or feeling disappointed there are so many things that could be the root of that and if you can figure that out that's good but if it's a lack of motivation like Claire mentioned earlier having a good studio practice my studio practices involve me tricking myself I have to shake his help to sit down and focus so here's some some patent-pending art hacks for you guys out there that's the thumbnail I will sit down with a drink or a cup of coffee or a glass of water or something like that and that just kind of helps me like stay at my desk and it's just part of my ritual so I build rituals so I'll have a cup of tea and then it's like okay this means it's time to sit down and focus now and I will some people like to listen to stuff while they work some people need complete silence I always need noise I put on cast and if the podcast is an hour long if I just work for an hour you know by the time I'm 10 minutes in I'm gonna want to work for three hours a lot of motivation they excuse me a lot of motivation issues I feel start with being afraid to start it's like this these aren't hats help kind of jumpstart it another thing I do is I'll light a candle I'll be like it is time the candles lit that helps me to like just like having some sort of action to be like it is time to begin helps me get me in the zone I totally do the hot drinks thing to me even when I was in art school and I had a painting studio I would go to I would always get like a coffee or a tea it didn't even have to be caffeinated because just like I have being in front of a canvas and this is true with digital art also when I had a drink I could like step back and like you know I have a sip of coffee and then I don't have to pet put down my brush or my pen or whatever and just step back and look at what I'm doing so it just definitely having those rituals helps so much yeah thanks have something very like that Nick what do you do what do you advise I guess do you I don't know a she's with this um feeling disappointed yeah yeah I don't personally it's less I love working it gets me I'm really excited about working but it's I definitely feel like feeling like you're or not good and spiraling um that definitely happens to me a lot and for like the like in the moment like Randy when you're just feeling like I totally Umbro taking breaks and that doesn't mean take an hour break like high every day when I'm working I try to go outside walk just for 10 min going outside is so important um you know going outside it's good if you have the opportunity to do that totally go for it something as simple as taking a shower can clear your mind and make you in love shows what I recommend is having a side project so even if like the thing you're working on for whatever reason that you feel like is more important in the moment you mean like homework or like yeah homework or actually a job or something yeah like stepping away from that either at the end of the night or when you have time and working on a personal project whether it be like a small series you were doing or just like flushing at a character you're doing we're practicing a skill you wanted to learn can be really helpful and it's nice to like break stuff up and then that gets you at least for me that gets me excited about doing the thing I'm like getting away from cuz like you're not doing it I mean finding just ways to get yourself excited cuz like you you must love doing it to some extent if you feel that if you like if you feel like so much when like it's not working out the way you want or you're not feeling um super up to it it's just things like that have its highs and lows and it's like kind of like trying to find the happy medium there by like splitting up your mental energy your physical energy and your time that's a good point though that you know you wouldn't feel so bad about it if you didn't care a lot about it you know if you when you find yourself in those lows and it feels really shitty it's actually kind of a good thing to hold on to that feeling because it's it's part it's that part of you that really wants it to go well it's that part of you that cares it's the passion in you so when you feel like you're you're not doing enough you know you know you want to get out of that space but don't feel like you have to shove those feelings away I think that's an important thing for me to remember a lot of the times too late' when I feel these negative feelings I just want them to go away but these are all part of you and I think that those negative feelings are the side of you that is really really cares about whatever it is you're doing if it's a you know school work job any kind of our related issue if you're feeling like you know you're screwing up that's you telling yourself hey this is something I really care about so hold onto that you know don't don't feel like these are bad feelings that you're having and they need to go away and you need to do the things to get them away as soon as possible I think that every emotion that we have is important to kind of acknowledge and live in for a little while and learn more about ourselves in those emotions also just remember the artists you look up to all started somewhere to no one is just born as a totally talented amazing beautiful artist maybe you're not there yet but everyone you look up to was also on that you don't have to be afraid that you'll lose your passion and you're not going to lose your passion as long as you don't stop as long as you don't put down a pencil for forever you know and I I don't think that's gonna happen you got this it's okay to fail and you just have to get back up that was our last question I think for this Q&A session thank you guys so much for sending in all of your questions and I'm sorry if we didn't get to yours we can only wait I have one more question do we have any sponsors or partners check out our sponsor in Inked gaming they do all kinds of high-quality TCG and PC gaming merchandise a couple of us here at subjectively play the Yukio TCG especially but they also stuff her magic and the Pokemon Trading Card Game check them out with the link in the description and treat yourself to some nice stuff while you support subjectively and we do actually before we close today we have a question for you guys so this was half of our hundred thousand subscriber special the other half will be a drawing game and we're having a trouble deciding what exactly that drawing game should be we kind of made a tradition out of anime girlfriends and boyfriends and and so on but but we don't want to have to draw our anime moms so give us ideas for what you would want to see in a drawing game you know like some of our older videos where we would do we would each draw something you know within a certain amount of time drawing our selves is ease oh five of us okay we reach a toe on the foot of subjective okay so we need we need to top that idea top of the toe I once they couldn't let sure they couldn't be toes thank you all right well thank you guys so much for watching thank you guys so much for 100,000 subscribers it's absolutely insane at this point last year I think we had like 300
