hello guys GIS here welcome back to another video in this B my friends I'm going to be testing player unknowns Battlegrounds Battlegrounds because it's called pubg Battlegrounds now why in its minimum and recommended system requirements so I'm here in the steam page and scrolling down here we can see the system requirements section and on the minimum requirements it asks for an Intel Core i5 4430 or an AMD fx6300 I have the fx6300 right here the is a 2012 CPU with six cores or three modules and six threads yeah it it was a weird architecture AMD is not proud of it it's very slow but it's what we have here today on the memory it asks for 8 GB of RAM we're running that in dual channel it's DDR 3600 mahz just normal DDR3 that you'd pair with an fx6300 at the time and finally for the graphics card it asks for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 962 GB or the AMD Radion r7370 I got the 962 GB which is also the much more popular GPU and this one is the MSI gaming version of the card now moving on to the recommended requirements side of things it asks for the Intel Core i56600k which is a quad core with four threads or an AMD ryzen 5600 which is a 6 core 12 threaded CPU so quite a discrepancy right here I am running the ryzen 5600 here today today because well it's what I have I don't have the 6600k for the memory it asks for 16 GB of RAM and we got that in dual Channel once again this is ddr4 3200 MHz which will be ran at 2933 mahz because that was pretty normal back in the ryzen 5600 days I actually built a 1600 system back then with 2133 mahz Ram finally for the graphics card it asks for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1063 GB mod model and we have the MSI OC V3 version of the card I think that's the name of it and it also asks for the AMD radian RX 584 GB model also it's very interesting that in the minimum requirements it asks for 40 GB of available space and the recommended requirements it asks for 50 that's just weird to me it's the same game so it should ask for the same amount of storage what the heck anyways let's play the game now on the minimum requirements shall we all right guys we're in the desktop now you can see the GTX 960s installed here with the latest NVIDIA drivers I'm not manually overclocking it and you can see all of its specs here in Tech powerups GPU Z lastly in task manager you can see the fx6300 it's also not overclocked and the memory 8 GB of DDR3 running at, 1600 MHz it's double of what is shown right there let's do this all right guys we're here and it is a stutter Fest holy crap look at the frame time graph over there damn that's because a lot of people are here in the lobby area or waiting area whatever and that's very CPU intensive hopefully down there running around it's going to be much better cuz this is not really playable Also let's go over the settings of course I'm playing at 1080p resolution using oh my God it literally stopped can I go to the advanced settings thank you very much very low settings all right basically everything is set to the lowest and 100% resolution scale oh my God okay I'm going to drop in the middle of nowhere those little houses seem to be fine just to to give it a bit of time to load in everything cuz that CPU is struggling a lot guys holy okay I think somebody dropped with this yes oh this is terrible news no no my God please do something stop it's literally moving without me moving the mouse right now because of the input lag it's insane all right that guy's dropping there there it's definitely not a great idea to go there bike yes let me grab it gosh this is so terrible I'm going to start counting our FPS once again I really think it's going to smooth out once everything loads in oh god let's go this way oh my goodness yeah the circle is this way as well so good stuff I definitely not want to go to the city there uh let's go to those little houses there okay oh my God stop oh boy oh boy oh boy this is this is the most terrifying pubg experience ever you know what guys I think I actually played quite a bit of pubg oh back in the days with an fx processor and I don't remember it to be this bad right now that we stopped it's actually reaching 60-ish FPS which is all right I think the ram utilization is also maxed out at this point even though it's not showing 8 GB of usage there it's safe to assume that it already swapped some things onto to the SSD and I'm also running an SSD if I was running a hard drive it would be even worse also just to free a little bit of ram I'm actually going to disable Hardware info 64 the thing that's showing the frequencies down there because we really need every bit of ram that we can have here right and I just restarted counting the FPS it seems like it's a lot more stable right now CPU usage is also not pegged at 99% all of the time anymore which is nice to see we still see a freak ton of stuttering guys it's really terrible but it's way more playable than what we saw so far so at least there's that oh my God okay we just died what are you doing here you freaking Bard maybe the next time around guys it's going to be smoother cuz we already loaded in some things H got to love those very low textures guys holy crap that's terrible all right we're in aale now the first map that released with pubg and uh getting a better experience in the plane than the previous one that's for sure and you know what since it's aronal we need to go to Pinki City my friends the best city in video game history or maybe not but yeah it's the one that I like in pubg at least I used to make a ton of Benchmark videos around this area here and uh yeah the FX guys it just can't handle it apparently look at this this game definitely needs a system requirements update you know it's had a ton of updates since it came out it actually used to run a little bit better back when it came out it used to run worse actually but then better and now apparently it runs worse again on older systems but better on newer ones yeah it is what it is let's get out of here maybe try to spot some people it's probably not a great idea with all of this stuttering I doubt I can do anything in this game this is one of the worst experiences I've had in recent times guys this is non-stop stuttering holy crap and the CPU is always kind of maxed out right yeah 90% plus all of the time GPU usage is at like 50% so the little 960 still has a lot to give if you paired it with a faster CPU than this one so what I'm going to do is lock the fps to 30 using rivatuner statistics server to see if we can again drop down that CPU utilization and make it stop stuttering cuz that's the real experience breaking uh feature you could say because I mean newer games all stutters so it's probably a feature right uh that's ruining the experience okay here we are I just locked the FPS the frame time is much more stable now but that CPU usage is still up there sometimes sometimes it goes up to 100% still but I guess most most of the time oh my God if you if you turn around really fast it goes crazy again and 1% lows are at eight oh terrible terrible stuff but I guess if you play with very low sensitivity and you take a while to turn your back you know 180° or whatever you can see that the frame time graph is actually pretty smooth there so we can have a smooth experience it's just that if you do this oh no it's it's it's it's fine now okay all right hopefully the 30fps lock actually saves us guys it definitely feels a little bit better but it still feels stuttery for some reason it feels like it's skipping frames so guys I guess there's nothing that can save this maybe overclocking but this is system requirements that I'm testing here so I'm not really going to overclock the CPU for that cuz you know if they meant to put an overclocked 6300 in the system requirements they would put the frequency there or maybe just say you require an fx 6350 which is basically the same thing with higher clock speeds anyways yeah pubg used to be playable I guess with an FX 6300 back in the days but I but now it's just way too bad it could also be vrm related oh my God Ram related not VM come on come on I want to kill somebody come on come on you bastard I got you I got the he's almost de dead guys he's almost dead we're almost getting a guy oh my God that's St oh look at that he was almost dead ah I count that as a kill with an fx let's move on to the recommended requirements now and here we have it it's desktop time with the recommended requirements now GeForce GTX 1063 gab is showing up here in MSI After Burner along with the latest envidia drivers of course I am not manually overclocking this one either you can see all of its specs right here in teora GPU Z and over on the left there is the ryzen 5600 not overclocked and 16 GB of ddr4 2933 MHz Ram in dual Channel let's get into it wow look at this it's Aon Gale in a beautiful new light my friends oh yes it looks absolutely amazing actually well not absolutely like the lighting actually looks really good but we're still playing at 1080p using very low settings here just to see what we can expect effect coming from something like the minimum requirements to the recommended ones and over here holy crap that is a huge difference isn't it poink City here we go my friends dropping down into the 60s and even 50s while looking at the entire city from above this is very intensive on the CPU you can see that the GPU usage is actually not maxing out vram usage is above 2 GB and RAM utilization is at around 9 GB so the 8 GB on the minimum requirement system was a little bit of a bottleneck and possibly causing some stuttering issues obviously the CP utilization was also a huge problem it was always maxing out but yeah so was the ram apparently now I'm a little bit scared because I don't have any weapons only a smoke grenade basically and obviously a lot of people dropped around here at least they usually do who whoa who do not oh my God okay okay okay did he spot me I'm not sure maybe he thought I had a grenade or or or another weapon uh yeah I'm just going to throw the smoke grenade yeah also we can check out our FPS inside of the smoke which is usually super GPU intensive you can see GPU usage going up into the 90% range still not dropping FPS though so that's fine uhoh y the guy's right there no no no no no no no no no no no please please let me leave dude why did I stand by the smoke you B bastard this is great yeah amazing gameplay my friend you killed me for for that just standing there H what are what were you Looting even right cuz I I didn't have anything also you can see that in the middle of pochinki right here it drops into the 70s and 80s very often but it shouldn't drop from 60 FPS um so it's safe to say that it's going to be a pretty great experience here although with very low Graphics which don't really look great at all so let's bump it up to medium settings next okay we're back here 1080p resolution using the medium settings preset now okay right away you can see that this looks way better than the very low settings we now have some well bad looking textures still but not as bad as before right like these are somewhat decent and we also have a lot of shadowing and Amun occlusion and stuff like that it looks way better some more stuttering although that was probably just because the game was still loading or whatever okay this time we have everything we need to play this game properly right we got decent Graphics good FPS no stuttering issues it's going to work fine my friends and nobody dropped with us as well which is great all right now the problem with having 99% G utilization all of the time in this game is that when you throw a smoke out the FPS will go down by quite a bit but apparently the GTX 1060 still has what it takes to keep you a above 60 FPS at all times at the medium settings so I will say that these are actually quite good recommended requirements for this game at least from what we've seen so far obviously I need to play this for a little bit longer and go to like a bigger city and so on but uh yeah the these seem to be very accurate and they provide a great experience probably on high settings it will still be playable at around like 60 FPS average also take a look at that vrm utilization guys it's almost maxing out if it didn't already and swapped some things into the ram already I don't think it did because previously on very low settings it was still at around 9 GB of RAM usage so I guess 3 gbt are barely enough for the medium settings in this game at 1080p resolution to provide a smooth experience and the stutter free one however with the 3 GB 1060 I see yeah I see a guy there there's a guy over there he's just standing by oh boy maybe he's going to hear us guys but I I think we got an easy kill right here he's AFK he's AFK we're going to do this yes I think that's close enough right I can do this there we go okay well I guess the guy already oh no he didn't really loot any of this maybe he just crashed or something interesting he almost Had No Loot oo wait a second do I really want that I think I'm just going to miss every shot I take with a sniper rifle so I'm not going to use it here okay okay guys again it's been a really long time since I've played pubg I had my fair share of uh wins chicken dinners in this game back in the days I played for like 650 hours already but I'm very Rusty at it at the moment it feels super clunky by the way these days coming from other games especially like Battlefield 5 which I've been playing recently there's a guy Finally Found Someone let's go I'm going to reload come on there we go come on he's probably watching us in third person come on come on no no no no no that's cheating that's cheating it's a level 255 players so yeah well with this game over and done with I think it's time for us to move on to high settings all right guys let's get wrecked at 1080p using the high settings this time around can't wait all right look at this a little bit of a comparison to where we started with the recommended requirements we were seeing like 160 FPS and now on high settings we're seeing a 100ish FPS so right away I can see a big difference comparing to medium settings in terms of the graphics I can see basically every tree in the entire map you know like games these days could only dream of view distances like these with this kind of performance on a 1060 and a first gen right in CPU oh my God people already dropped also we're seeing a CPU bottleneck GPU usage isn't really maxing out we're seeing a quite a lot more stuttering than previously guys and that vram usage is maxed out at the moment it already swapped some things that should have been on vrm onto the ram okay we're not we're not going to stop yep we're not going to stop damn it ah we stopped we stopped okay okay oh boy oh boy let me go also we're again and GPU bound just walking around here that's great I'm just going to drink this now yes we also need this for sure ooh sniper rifle or Ming nun good stuff I remember playing like Call of Duty finest Hour in the PS2 with this gun right here great times oh boy I'm I'm really scared I I think we're just going to die in just a little bit it's also stuttering quite a lot once again because of that I think at least because as it was stuttering oh boy oh boy you flipping bastard he's just standing right there looking at me right now look at that you no no somebody else is shooting at us oh oh oh I am so scared okay okay okay okay they might actually come for us but yeah as I was saying we got those huge stutters and frame time spikes when the ram filled up a little bit so it was definitely swapping some things that should have been on vram into the ram there so I guess we should probably try to spot somebody there's a guy right there ah that was so close okay I got him I got him oh yes oh that felt satisfying guys but the pubg satisfaction is coming back to me at the moment oh you know what I kind of want to go to the church and take a look at the entire city from above ooh the explosions are going to start in just a little bit as well guys we're going to see some explosions which are Super intend I in this game as well wait a second let me throw this out oh there we go we in the middle of the explosion Zone oh yes oh no no no no stop you okay I just want to see the smoke effects I just let me just go prone here yes there we go maybe he's running like a gt710 and he can't really get go good FPS around smokes fortunately oh of course of course but yeah guys fortunately the GTX 1063 GB doesn't seem to drop from 60 FPS even inside of smokes around explosions and so on which is very impressive but well this performance means that if you have the GTX 1066 gigabyte instead of the 3 gig model it's actually going to be smooth and above 60 FPS the entire time but unfortunately 3 GB of vram is not enough for smooth gameplay in this game apparently so the recommended requirements are probably for like 1080p medium settings which all already look very similar to high honestly so uh you're going to have a great experience either way minimum requirements though stay away from that if you have those do not bother installing this game it's going to run like crap basically with that said thanks so much for watching this video don't forget to like And subscribe if you haven't already and if you enjoyed this one I'll be back with more minimum and recommended system requirements testing I've been buying a lot of CPUs and motherboards to do this so yeah stay tuned in for more catch you in the next one love you all bye-bye
