PS5 Crashing? Try THIS! How to Fix Crashing, Freezing, & Glitching on PS5!

in this video I'm going to show you how to fix it when your PS5 is crashing whether it be playing games applications during startup or on the home screen so the first thing I recommend you do is press the PlayStation button on your controller from here we're going to go to downloads and updates and if you're playing a game or application and it crashes just make sure it's not downloading any updates because that can cause some issues so the next thing we're going to do is go to the settings Cog wheel in the top right corner from here we're going to go to system system software system software update and settings and make sure your console is up to date because oftentimes if it's not this can lead to games crashing and your console just straight up crashing itself so if you know it's up to date the next thing I want you to do is go back to settings we're going to go to users and accounts from here we're going to scroll on downwards towards other and I want you to restore licenses for downloaded content you can't use oftentimes especially if you're switching between accounts or signing in in different areas you can experience some issues with your games or applications so I recommend you restore the licenses which only takes a couple of seconds once you've done that check and see if the gamer application isn't crashing and if it still is or it's just your console crashing we're going to change some more things under system settings so the next thing I want you to turn off is enable HDMI device link now we're going to go back and the next thing we're going to take a look at is power saving so oftentimes if you've mistaken how long it takes for a gamer application to close I recommend you turn this to don't put into rest mode and don't put into rest mode to see if that helps fix the issue another thing that could actually cause your PS5 to crash would be the power source so you could always experiment using different Outlets to see if that's going to fix your PS5 from crashing as well as it could actually just be your PS5 as dirty on the inside so in that case you're going to have to clean it as well as rebuilding the database would probably be a good idea I'll link both of those videos down in the description and the pin top comment below hopefully this video was helpful like And subscribe and we'll see you in the next one
