Prosecutors to call Michael Cohen to the stand next week

A third week of testimony has wrapped up at former President Donald Trump's criminal hush money trial. CBS News has confirmed prosecutors plan to call their key witnesses to the stand next Monday, starting with Michael Cohen. He is the former president's former personal attorney. Prosecutors say Mr Trump made illegal payments to Cohen after Cohen paid adult film actress Stormy Daniels 130 $1000 ahead of the 2016 election. Now that money was meant to buy her silence about an alleged affair with Donald Trump. Former President Trump has denied making any illegal payments. I think that Michael Cohen's testimony will be fire in brimstone. It will be something to behold both during direct and cross examination. Prosecutors say it's possible they will rest their case by the end of next week.
