Project Zomboid Guide. How to Spear Fish.

howdy my name is Chip wolf and in this video I will explain what is spearfishing and how to do it as a start what is per fishing in Project zomboid spearfishing is a simple activity that lets you use your spear to gather a fish which can be used for a lot of sustainance and food because they have a lot of calories and they can satisfy your hunger quite well let's talk about how to do it in order to Spearfish all you need to do is well a spear preferably a few because they can break while doing this once you have a few Spears you're just in the body of water could be River could be like and once without it you just click fishing select where you want your fish to be and then you click OK it's simple the two things you want to watch out for is that while doing it You're vulnerable to attacks from behind so if you're all doing it near out of the town or something just watch out you can build you can build a small hat around yourself foreign another thing you have to watch out is if you speed time to do it faster because obviously you can speed time to do it faster while doing it faster watch out for your moodlets because you might die out of touch or hunger if you're not careful and lastly there are two lines you can see here first is fishing once this fills up there's a percentage chance to catch a fish and the other importance about the abundance of it once this runs out your character will stop fishing because in this area there's no more fish and then you just need to move to another area another thing is what you need for oh I said before the only thing you really need is crafted spirit of course some level in fishing will help you as the higher level the higher the chance you will be able to catch a fish so that would help another thing someone might be interested is does this work during the winter because obviously it works during the summer because you can just relatively Carefree fish and just collect all of that however during the winter there are a few downsides I'll in the future I will make a video about the Spearfish during the winter and I will explain how to do it best to save up the time and not waste the entire day trying to hunt for fish because there's a few issues there and lastly I'd like to cover a simple thing which is how to level up fishing the the easiest way to level up fish or lose fishing and in general is to try and watch the TVs at the start of the game if for some reason you'll be able to catch the first few programs where you can gain one or two level you can simply read a book that will give you bonus and then you just try to Spearfish even if you won't catch a lot you will still catch something and that will help you and now at the end I will do a small time lapse of me trying to fill up my backpack to show you how long it takes and how it looks like and as we can see that was pretty much an entire day of spear fishing my spear didn't broke and we got a lot of fish so of course some fish will be small but there's a few bigger ones like for example hero or a few others in order to save up time or just save up your Spears the higher carpentry level the more sturdy will be your Spears so if you have a high level of carpentry then it will be much easier because you want to have to make new spears over and over again and yeah I hope this helped you
